Chibuzor's face tightened.
Adaugo had noticed.
And now she wasn't letting it go.
"People who have moved on don't usually run from the people who hurt them."
Her words hit a nerve.
Chibuzor looked away.
For the first time, Adaugo wondered if there was more to his distance from the circle than she had understood.
The others except Olisa wanted him to forgive them for their lack of support that year or at least stop isolating himself from them all.
It was understandable that he hated fourth brother and Adaugo, but what about the rest of them?
All they did was try to maintain peace. Olisa hadn't agreed with their methods, but they felt it was the best way not to break their group.
Too bad, it didn't break in half, but it did break.
They lost both Chibuzor and Olisa.
Currently, Olisa had given them another chance and accepted them back, but Chibuzor was obviously still having a hard time letting it go.
"Prove to me that you've really moved on," Adaugo said.
Chibuzor stopped.
