In front, there was the Golden Arrow, and behind, the Soul-Stealing Puki. Yet, the Demon King, in order to temporarily limit Link, found himself similarly immobile.
Gululu—
A pile of slime cores, in assorted colors of red and green, floated out from the Demon King's body, densely stacked on his surface, forming a layer of slime garment that conveniently blocked the extending touch of that Puki.
At the moment of contact, several slimes' fragile false souls shattered, the slime cores lost vitality, and large swathes of slime simultaneously dripped away.
That Puki, too, after using the [Soul Touch], turned into an empty shell and fell to the dust.
The Demon King fended off the most threatening Puki, but the cost was the Golden Arrow tearing through the hastily erected shield and exploding in front of him.
The explosion overturned everything around, even damaging most of the teleportation array condensed beneath the Demon King.
