Chapter 12 - Chapter 12: Childish Prank 2

Vivian blinked, staring at Ethan Hayes for a good while before speaking uncertainly, "I drink water, plain water."

"Plain water?" Ethan Hayes slightly furrowed his delicate eyebrows upon hearing her answer and asked with a hint of undetectable eagerness, "Don't you drink cola??"

"No thanks, I prefer water." Vivian smiled slightly at him.

"Oh..." Ethan Hayes responded lightly, "Then you go to the study first, I'll get you some water."

"Okay, thank you." Vivian nodded, picked up her backpack, and headed to the study in his house.

The things in the study remained the same as last week before she left, which clearly indicated that Ethan Hayes hadn't reviewed the content she taught him at all throughout the week.

Vivian frowned, walked to the desk, and just as she pulled out the chair to sit down, Ethan Hayes entered with two glasses of bubbling cola.

"Here you go, cola." Ethan Hayes placed one glass in front of Vivian, his lips curving slightly, speaking in a low voice.

"..."

Vivian stared at the glass in front of her for a moment, then looked up at Ethan Hayes and said curiously, "I remember I said I wanted plain water??"

"What's good about water, it's bland and tasteless, have some cola. You don't like it? I love cola." Ethan Hayes winked at her, speaking as he lifted his glass to his lips and sipped.

Vivian: ...

Oh well, he just wants to share the drink he likes with her, which is why he stubbornly gave her a glass of cola too.

Thinking about it this way, he's actually not bad. Maybe last time he was just a bit rebellious because his parents were around.

Vivian smiled apologetically at Ethan Hayes, nodded, and said, "Alright, thank you. By the way, have you memorized the math formulas I taught you last time? Have you done any exercises to reinforce your knowledge??"

"No." Ethan Hayes looked at Vivian very honestly, sat down beside her, and continued stubbornly asking, "Why don't you drink cola??"

"Huh?" Vivian was slightly taken aback, her eyes bright and clear, looking at Ethan Hayes.

Her eyes were big and round, the corners glistening as if she were an innocent deer, paired with her tender, doll-like face, which made her look both confused and pitiful.

Ethan Hayes stared at her eyes for a moment before unconsciously averting his gaze, clearing his throat and saying to her, "You came over by subway, it's hot outside, you must be very thirsty, have something to drink before we start the lesson."

"Mm, okay." Vivian listened to him, feeling moved suddenly, maybe he's just a bit poor in academics, but his character is good. Seeing how considerate he is, he's not at all like the mischievous character Professor Shaw described.

Thinking this, she picked up the glass in front of her with one hand, brought it to her lips, and took a sip of the cola.

The next second, Vivian's delicate eyebrows immediately furrowed tightly.

She covered her mouth with her hand and dashed out of the study. Once in the bathroom, she immediately spat out all the cola with a "wah" sound.
