Summer Shawcross stared at his composed face for a moment, then couldn't help but ask.
"Do you really dislike children that much?"
His actions tonight made her suspect that he didn't want kids!
He didn't answer immediately. Instead, he lowered his eyes, looked at her dissatisfied little face for a moment, then parted his thin lips and spoke to her with a serious expression.
"Summer Shawcross, we'll prepare for children in a couple of years!"
His words left Summer stunned, her face revealing a look of surprise and confusion.
"Why?"
Why must it be two years later? Why can't it be now?
Noah Drexler cleared his throat and then slowly began to explain to her.
"Having a child is not a trivial matter, we need more time to prepare."
