Even though he didn't explain much, his words were like a calming pill, immediately easing her anxiety.
Just as she was in a daze, he suddenly raised his hand, took off his suit, unbuttoned one of his shirt buttons, and then frowned at her.
"Silly woman, stop thinking and go to sleep!"
"Hmm..." She instinctively nodded, just about to get up from the sofa when he unexpectedly leaned down and lifted her, standing up together from the sofa.
"Noah Drexler, you shouldn't be lifting heavy things!" Summer Shawcross was startled and nervously lifted her head to look at him.
His leg had just healed, and the doctor said he shouldn't carry heavy things.
After she spoke, he furrowed his brows.
"Heavy things?" A few traces of affection appeared on his handsome face.
She really overestimated herself; her weight, not even ninety pounds, was nothing for him.
