Owen Hayes sat on the sofa in silence for a long time, only speaking after quite a while:
"A divorce is possible, but not right now. I can provide her with a life of luxury, but as for the company's stock and funds, I need to figure out a way to transfer them. Otherwise, when it comes time to divorce, these assets will inevitably be split in two."
Yvonne Lawson listened to Owen Hayes and felt a surge of happiness in her heart.
She knew the words she had just said had worked.
"Owen, none of that matters to me. I'm with you because I love your talent, I love you as a person, it has nothing to do with material things. It wouldn't matter even if you gave it all to Yvonne Walsh."
Yvonne Lawson said that, but in her heart, she didn't want Yvonne Walsh to take a single penny.
She was just saying what Owen Hayes wanted to hear.
