Chapter 366 - Chapter 366: Garp Beats His Grandson

"Zehahaha…"

"Old Man Garp, your fists really hurt."

Blackbeard was barely able to stand now. Several of the teeth in his mouth had been sent flying.

He felt extremely depressed. Did Garp just like hitting people in the head that much? His head was still buzzing from the beating.

What a monster. Had his father fought this guy back then too? He couldn't have been hit in the head as well, right?

Garp raised an eyebrow. Blackbeard truly was worthy of being Rocks's son. Although he did not have Rocks's level of Haki, his durability was genuinely astonishing.

If anyone else had taken this many punches from him, even an Admiral would have had a hard time enduring it.

With Blackbeard's strength plus the Dark-Dark Fruit, if he were given some time to develop, and not even that much time, a position among the Four Emperors would definitely be within easy reach.

"Surrender quietly. The Impel Down package is waiting for you," Garp said.

Impel Down…

A sharp glint flashed deep in Blackbeard's eyes.

In this situation, there was no way he could escape from Garp. But Impel Down might not necessarily be a dead end. It might even be a turning point.

With his background, he would definitely receive the highest level of surveillance, but since he was going to be captured no matter what, he might as well save some strength and adapt to the situation later.

"You are under arrest."

Bogard appeared and fastened Sea-Prism Stone handcuffs onto Blackbeard while he was lost in thought.

In an instant, a sense of powerlessness surged through Blackbeard's entire body. He put up a symbolic struggle. After all, if he gave up too deliberately, even an idiot would be able to tell something was wrong.

"Bogard, I'll leave this guy to you. Take him back to the ship. I'm going to see my beloved eldest grandson."

After Garp finished speaking, he stepped through the air with Geppo and rushed toward the Going Merry.

Bogard shook his head helplessly, then put Sea-Prism Stone handcuffs on Blackbeard's subordinates as well.

On Koji's side, he watched as Blackbeard was cuffed with Sea-Prism Stone handcuffs and rolled his eyes.

With Blackbeard's ambition, there was no way he would surrender so easily. He was most likely plotting something.

"That man's ambition is enormous. Eyes don't lie," Ningguang said as she looked at Blackbeard's gaze.

She had seen all kinds of people. Her ability to judge character was usually not wrong.

"That's normal. Someone who can endure in silence for that many years can be called a formidable schemer," Koji said.

Still, with him being from the Davy lineage, he probably would not simply be imprisoned in Impel Down. If the World Government found out, they would definitely make special arrangements.

Forget it. He would keep watching Garp discipline his grandson.

Garp's body shape clearly showed that he trained but skipped leg day. His upper body was extremely muscular, but his two thin legs looked so out of place that it was distracting.

Bang!

What awaited Luffy was, sure enough, the Iron Fist of Love.

Even when beating his own grandson, Garp was still very realistic about it.

Just from that sound, you could tell Luffy had a fine, solid skull.

"Ow, ow, ow! Grandpa, why did you use Haki?" Luffy clutched the huge bump rising on his head, feeling as though Garp had nearly smashed his skull open.

"Oh?"

Garp was a little surprised to hear the word Haki from his grandson's mouth.

"Who told you that?"

"Uncle Aokiji."

Luffy sold Aokiji out without even thinking.

"That meddlesome brat," Garp muttered under his breath.

But if Luffy knew, then he knew. He would have to learn sooner or later anyway. Knowing now would at least let him prepare mentally.

Nami and the others looked at Garp's burly, powerful body. Not everyone had the chance to observe a legendary old soldier from such a close distance.

After all, they were pirates. For any other pirate crew, being able to see Garp from this close usually meant they had already been captured.

"Luffy, I wanted you to become a powerful Marine. You brat, poisoned by Red-Hair, why won't you listen?" Garp knocked another huge bump onto Luffy's head, frustrated that he could not turn this piece of iron into steel.

Every single one of them was such a headache. Couldn't they show just a little consideration for an old man like him?

"Grandpa, this is the path I chose myself. I'm going to keep walking it," Luffy said firmly.

Garp sighed helplessly. He had known this would happen. There was no persuading him. Luffy becoming a Marine was something he could only fantasize about. In reality, it was impossible.

To keep his grandson from accidentally dying at sea, Garp took a manual out from inside his coat. On the cover were the glaring words "Haki."

"This is the Marines' systematic Haki training manual. After memorizing it, remember to destroy it," Garp said.

This sort of behavior was not allowed, but Luffy was his own grandson, so what he said went.

"Oh. Thanks, Grandpa," Luffy said.

He had not expected Garp to give him something like this.

"Grandpa, do you have a way to contact my old man?" Luffy asked.

"Kuzan told you?"

Garp asked. Normally, Luffy definitely would not ask this question.

"What do you want to do?"

He thought Luffy missed his father.

"Sabo is still alive. He's with the Revolutionary Army," Luffy quickly said.

"Sabo? That little blond brat?" Garp thought for a moment. He had some impression of him.

The Revolutionary Army. Sabo.

He had previously thought it was just someone with the same name. Who would have imagined that, under those circumstances, a little child could still survive?

"I understand."

Garp took out a Den Den Mushi and directly called Dragon.

"Father, what is it?"

Dragon's low voice sounded from the other end. He also could not guess what his old father wanted.

"Dragon, Luffy is looking for you. Didn't you save him back in Loguetown?" Garp said directly.

"…"

The criminal known in the eyes of the World Government as the most dangerous man in the world fell silent. Toward this biological son of his, he carried guilt. He had never fulfilled his responsibilities as a father.

"My old man saved me?"

Luffy scratched his head. He could not remember who he had met in Loguetown.

"Luffy, what is it?"

"You're my old man, right? Is Sabo with you? Did you save a blond-haired boy in the Goa Kingdom?" Luffy asked.

"Sabo? I did indeed save him in the Goa Kingdom. Do you know each other?"

Dragon was somewhat surprised. He had never expected that the talented child he had saved in passing would actually be someone his own son knew.

"We do. The three of us are sworn brothers," Luffy said with a heavy nod.

"Sabo lost his memories from before. He only remembers his name. After he comes back, I'll talk to him about it."

"Father, give Luffy a way to contact me."

Garp glared and bristled. "Giving it to him is fine, but don't drag Luffy into the Revolutionary Army."

Compared with pirates, the World Government's suppression of the Revolutionary Army was even harsher. He did not want his grandson to get involved in it.

"I understand. I won't. Luffy has his own path to walk."

Dragon could not help sweating. If he really did that, Garp would absolutely come after him with a giant slipper from the heavens and smack him with it. At that point, he would lose all face.
