Chapter 367 - Chapter 367: The Incident at God Valley

"This is your old man's Den Den Mushi number. Keep it safe, and remember, don't get involved with the Revolutionary Army."

"Why, Grandpa? Is there something wrong with the Revolutionary Army?" Luffy asked, confused.

"That Nico Robin girl. Aren't you from Ohara? Explain it to this idiot grandson of mine," Garp said, looking toward Robin. He decided to let an intellectual explain it in a way Luffy could understand.

Robin let out a quiet breath of relief. It seemed Garp was not going to attack her.

"Luffy, the Revolutionary Army isn't made up of pirates. Even pirates as powerful as the Four Emperors occupy their own territories and maintain a basic state of mutual noninterference with the World Government. The Revolutionary Army is different. One of their goals is liberation, which means they are openly opposing the World Government."

"If you get mixed up with the Revolutionary Army, the World Government won't show mercy. They will absolutely dispatch their top combat forces to wipe out the other side."

Luffy nodded as if he understood, yet also as if he did not.

So that was what the Revolutionary Army was like. They did not feel like bad people.

"I would like to ask something, Vice Admiral Garp. I'm a wanted criminal of the World Government, and my identity is more sensitive than that of many pirates. Why don't you intend to arrest me?" Robin asked.

Garp picked his nose and said indifferently, "That's the World Government's business. I can't stand those Celestial Dragon pieces of trash either. Whether what happened to you people of Ohara was right or wrong isn't for me to decide."

"Since Luffy trusts you, I won't say anything."

"Besides, no matter how sensitive your identity is, it still isn't as sensitive as Luffy's."

Robin smiled silently.

That was true. The scholars of Ohara had merely researched the blank history that the World Government had hidden, while the Revolutionary Army founded by Luffy's father was openly going against the World Government.

Compared to each other, which one mattered more was obvious at a glance.

Still, this Vice Admiral Garp truly was a strange person. As a famous Marine vice admiral and renowned hero, he actually cursed the Celestial Dragons, those world nobles, without the slightest hesitation.

Perhaps it was because of his own strength. There were probably only a few people in the World Government who were as powerful as Garp, so they simply turned a blind eye.

"If you knew what Old Man Garp did back then, you wouldn't be so surprised."

Koji appeared through teleportation.

A Paramecia-type Teleport-Teleport Fruit?

Garp was slightly stunned. Spatial abilities were very rare.

"What did Grandpa do?" Luffy asked curiously.

"Do any of you know about God Valley?"

Koji looked at Luffy and the others. The moment Garp heard the words "God Valley," his expression changed, and his pupils instantly contracted.

He could never forget that earth-shaking battle.

"I remember that after the God Valley Incident, Vice Admiral Garp became known to the world as a Marine hero. As for the details, I don't know. They were probably sealed off by the World Government," Robin said.

"I never wanted that title of hero," Garp sneered. A title he had gained by indirectly protecting those insects only made him feel disgusted.

"During the God Valley Incident, several of the world's top forces gathered in one place: the Rocks Pirates, the World Government, the Marines, and the Roger Pirates. The main focus, of course, was the Rocks Pirates."

"Three of the current Four Emperors—Whitebeard, Kaido, and Big Mom—were all crew members of the Rocks Pirates."

Everyone who knew about those three Four Emperors was stunned.

Just how powerful had the Rocks Pirates been?

"Kid, are you sure you want to tell them about this?" Garp suddenly asked in a deep voice.

"Do you mind?"

"Forget it. Do whatever you want."

Garp shook his head. He had recognized Koji's voice. He was the person who had contacted him through the Den Den Mushi earlier.

Koji gave a simple overview of what had happened at God Valley.

The more Garp listened, the more surprised he became. He looked at Koji in disbelief.

It was almost exactly the same, as if Koji had personally experienced the God Valley Incident. There were even some things Garp himself did not know.

Luffy listened and felt extremely satisfied.

As expected of his grandpa. He had not feared authority at all.

After receiving praise from his grandson, Garp became rather smug. He had never been afraid of those insects. He only did what he believed was justice.

Robin and the others widened their eyes, especially Robin. She knew of the Five Elders' existence, and they were unquestionably figures who stood high above everyone else.

Garp's actions could completely be considered insubordination.

"It's enough for you to know about God Valley. Don't go spreading it everywhere. It won't do you any good," Garp warned.

"Grandpa, how do you train Haki? Can you give us some guidance?"

The moment Luffy said it, he regretted it a little. After all, if Garp was the one guiding them, it was definitely going to be painful.

"I've got nothing to do lately, so I'll guide you all for a few days."

Garp grinned and had Luffy's group find an island. Since he had run into his own grandson, he might as well discipline him properly.

Nami and the others immediately felt that something was wrong.

They could not have been dragged into this because of Luffy, could they?

Koji smiled and shook his head, then left through teleportation.

Garp did not care. Koji was not an enemy, and with a spatial ability like that, even if he wanted to stop him, he would not be able to.

After Koji and the others spent a few days wandering around, they collected quite a few Devil Fruits.

Do not ask where they came from. They were all gifts from nature. They had run right up to them on their own. Of course, if something was free, they would not refuse it.

After returning to Teyvat, everyone still felt a little unsteady, aside from Beidou and the others. It was a symptom of having spent too much time at sea. They would be fine after resting for a few days.

"The pirate world has treasure chests too. Sure enough, treasure chests are the true protagonists of every world," Lumine said emotionally.

Her gains were decent. Compared to Teyvat, the treasure chests in the pirate world were a little harder to find. Many of them were buried instead of being placed directly on the ground. However, for someone as experienced as her, that was no challenge at all.

"Dear, if I'd known earlier, I would have asked you to make a Blessing That Finds Treasure Chests One Hundred Percent of the Time."

Koji's mouth twitched. Actually, that was not impossible. If he wanted to make it, he really could. But then finding treasure chests would become too easy, and it would lose some of its fun.

"Lumine, are you sure you need that kind of Blessing?" Koji asked.

If Lumine needed it, he could make one for her right now.

"Hmm… Forget it. I don't want it. Opening treasure chests that way would be a little boring."

Lumine thought about it for a moment, then finally shook her head.

Although the process of finding treasure chests was a little tiring, opening them afterward gave her a real sense of achievement.

"What if you worked hard to find a treasure chest, only for there to be nothing inside? Would you still want to open it?" Koji asked with a smile.

Without even thinking, Lumine said seriously, "If that ever happened, I would definitely become extremely irritable. More Super Break than Super Break."

Lumine could not imagine such a "despair-inducing" moment.
