Chapter 285 - Chapter 285 The Rage of a Daughter-Slave

Everyone was embarrassed, as they knew they had been overconfident.

They had happened to kill one Faceless One and thought all Faceless Ones were easily defeated. They never expected the Faceless Ones to set a trap for them, and they actually fell into it.

Thinking of this, they all felt a loss of face.

Axi quickly changed the subject, "Aunt Nasha, there are three more Faceless Ones behind us!"

As if hearing Axi's distress signal, the Faceless Ones worked together to shatter the iceberg and began walking towards them.

Nasha said coldly, "I'll deal with you after I've taken care of them."

Dozens of Hippogryph Knight Order swept through the air, launching an attack on the Faceless Ones. Nasha arced through the sky, drew her Ruined King's Blade, and charged at the three Faceless Ones.

The other Hippogryph Knight Order were responsible for harassment. After Nasha got close, she leaped from her Hippogryph. The Ruined King's Blade was raised high and brought down fiercely, splitting one Faceless One in half.

The other two Faceless Ones were shocked. They knew Nasha's strength surpassed theirs. So they released a barrage of shadow bolts, forcing the Hippogryph Knight Order back, and then turned to flee.

A Hippogryph flew between the trees, Nasha jumped onto its back, and directly pursued them, cutting the two Faceless Ones in half with a single sword stroke.

After igniting the Faceless Ones' corpses, Nasha finally came before Axi's team and reprimanded them, "You are all descendants of Alliance leaders, receiving the best education and bearing the highest expectations from a young age. Is this the answer you deliver? Arrogant, unable to see the situation clearly, and putting yourselves in danger?"

Everyone obediently listened to the lecture, even Axi, who was usually the most disobedient, dared not talk back.

Nasha turned and said to her subordinates, "Activate the teleportation beacon."

"No—"

Axi quickly tried to stop them, but it was too late.

As soon as the beacon lit up, a Rainbow Bridge flew from the south. The Rainbow Bridge landed, and Gale stepped out, "What happened?"

Nasha recounted the impulsiveness of Axi and the others, but Gale heard a different meaning. He looked at the crystal bow in Axi's hand, "Is this given to you by a Blue Dragon?"

"Yes!" Axi complained, "Didn't you say you didn't have time? Are you jealous that someone else gave me an artifact?"

Gale snorted, and the Rainbow Bridge instantly rose, teleporting everyone present away.

After the Rainbow Bridge disappeared, everyone found themselves back outside the city of AhnQiraj.

He looked at the Blue Dragons, "Who gave my daughter the crystal bow?"

The Blue Dragons were silent, knowing that their little scheme had been detected by Gale. Originally, they thought it was nothing; even if Gale was the leader of the Alliance, he was still a mortal. Would he dare to confront a Guardian Dragon?

They never expected Gale actually would dare.

Looking at the Blue Dragons who dared not admit it, Gale showed a sarcastic smile. Cowards who dared to do but not to admit, truly useless.

He suddenly pointed the eternal spear at the gate of AhnQiraj. The Rainbow Bridge instantly destroyed the gate, carrying him into the city of AhnQiraj.

The Faceless Ones inside the city stared in astonishment at this uninvited guest, then immediately launched an attack.

Gale calmly put away the eternal spear, drew the twilight divine sword, and plunged it into the ground.

Boom—

Towering flames rose, purifying everything, whether it was the Faceless Ones or the city of AhnQiraj.

Watching AhnQiraj being razed to the ground, the Guardian Dragons were silent. At this moment, the Blue Dragons finally regretted it. Gale's strength was already on par with a Guardian Dragon. These little dragon whelps would simply be instantly killed by Gale.

After realizing the reality, they broke out in a cold sweat. If only they had known, they wouldn't have harbored those petty thoughts.

Nasha's mouth twitched. This doting father was simply too terrifying.

If your reputation as a doting father wasn't so well-known, how else would the Blue Dragons have used Axi to lure you here?

These Blue Dragons were truly muddled; did they never consider that Axi might be in danger?

The Blue Dragons had considered it, but they believed Gale would surely have made preparations for Axi. Even if a crisis arose, Gale would be able to arrive in time to rescue Axi.

However, they had not considered that in the heart of a doting father, his daughter's safety must never be compromised, not even a 1% chance of error was allowed.

It was fortunate that Axi didn't encounter any problems, otherwise, it wouldn't have been AhnQiraj that was destroyed today.

After unleashing his fury, Gale walked out of AhnQiraj step by step, not even glancing at the Blue Dragons. But the Blue Dragons felt an immense pressure; the magic sword in Gale's hand seemed capable of taking their lives at any moment.

"Let's go, we're going home."

Gale sheathed the twilight divine sword, took out the eternal spear, and was about to activate the Rainbow Bridge.

However, Axi grabbed his hand.

"Father, I want to stay here."

Gale was stunned, "Stay here to do what?"

"Fulfill my promise." Axi took a deep breath and said, "No matter what the situation was at the time, I promised to hunt down all the Faceless Ones. This is the promise I made when I accepted the crystal bow, and I must fulfill it."

Gale: "If you like bows and arrows, I can craft one for you."

"I do like the crystal bow," Axi said seriously, "but I must fulfill the promise I made. Father has always been true to his word, and as a princess of the Kaldorei Empire, I naturally must also be true to my word."

Gale stared blankly at his eldest daughter, not knowing when she had grown up.

Nasha walked over and whispered, "Even the weakest fledgling must experience the storms on its own."

Gale smiled, "Good, Axi, go fulfill your promise!"

"Thank you, Father!"

Axi happily hugged him, "I will definitely achieve great things and make you look at me with new eyes."

Then, she rushed to her team members, "Let's go, we're going to Ulduar."

Inute was shocked, "Axi, you don't actually want to go kill Yogg-Saron, do you?"

Gale looked over sharply, and Axi immediately shrank her neck, "I was just kidding."

Turning around, she glared fiercely at Inute, "Are you stupid? The Faceless Ones' target must be Ulduar. If we go to Ulduar now, we can wait for them there and eliminate the vast majority of the Faceless Ones."

"Oh, I see!" Inute smiled awkwardly.

Watching Axi's team leave, Gale still felt a little uneasy. Both of his daughters were incredibly bold; they might really have the idea of challenging Yogg-Saron. Although Algalon wouldn't let her go to Yogg-Saron's prison, what if Axi secretly went?

He looked at Nasha, "You take your people and follow them. Don't let her cause any trouble."

Gale signed an order, "Take this. From now on, you can mobilize all the forces of Twin Peaks Fortress."

Nasha nodded helplessly, took the order, and led the Hippogryph Knight Order to pursue Axi.
