Chapter 81 - Beat ⁸¹★Us and the Clouds☆

Us and the Clouds

Ren woke up, his body heavy and sore.

He opened his eyes and saw a face right in front of him, poking his nose playfully with a finger.

His eyes went wide.

"Smart? What are you doing here?"

Smart was lying next to him, leaning in close.

He whispered, "Oh… were you expecting someone else? Aren't you happy to see me?"

"Where's Leo?" Ren asked immediately, scanning the room for any sign of him.

Smart was watching Ren's gaze, just wanting to tease him a little.

"Don't look around! He's not here," he said.

"Hmmm… sorry to tell you, but he left you in my hands. He had… work to do."

Ren tried to get up immediately, but his body ached.

He still didn't feel fully healed.

"Work? What could be more important than staying with me?"

"Hey, don't move. What are you doing?" Smart covered him again.

"Just kidding. He's in the kitchen with Jin… they're making breakfast!"

Ren took a deep breath, leaning back a little against the headboard.

"Breakfast? "Is it morning already? I've been asleep… almost a whole day

""Eh, yep… you slept like a corpse, completely out of it.

How do you feel? Better?"

"I think… I feel fine. I guess Leo healed me?" he said, glancing at him.

"Ouuu… I didn't know Leo was a doctor," Smart said, feigning surprise, just to tease Ren a little.

"Does he treat other patients too?"

Ren immediately threw a pillow at him, shooting him a fierce look.

"The only patient he has in this world… is me!"

✧ — ✧ — ✧

Leo and Jin were in the kitchen, preparing breakfast, and it was clear they were really enjoying the moment.

They were both great at cooking, but they had never made a meal for anyone else… until today.

This time, they were cooking for two very special people, who were quickly taking an important place in their hearts and lives.

Leo was making soup when he noticed Jin preparing Smart's breakfast:

toasted bread, boiled eggs, avocado, arugula, and some almonds and walnuts.

"What… exactly are you doing?" he asked, surprised.

"Hmm… breakfast for Smart," Jin replied calmly, heading to the fridge to check if there was any milk.

"Really? Smart has a… peculiar breakfast," Leo said again, still astonished.

"This is Smart's favorite breakfast," Jin said, smiling.

"You know he's not used to our culture… or our food."

"Hey Jin… have you ever thought that Smart might want to go back to his hometown?"

At that moment, Jin's mood completely soured.

He had thought about this… not just once, but several times.

There were moments when even the thought alone would make him feel sad, long before anything like it had actually happened.

"I've thought about it… but I won't let that desire take over him.

He belongs here with me, and he hasn't agreed to any of this," Jin said in a very serious tone, as he poured a glass of milk.

"I get that you want to keep him close, but you need to understand him too.

He has his family in Europe!"

"If needed… I'll bring his family here so they can live with us," Jin said, his voice tinged with a little sadness.

"Hmmm… has he ever told you anything about his family?

Why don't they all live here?" Leo asked.

"Not yet! I don't know what the problem is between us… Smart doesn't tell me anything!

Maybe he doesn't feel free with me, and that's why he can't talk about everything?"

Jin paused for a moment, then continued:

"Everything else has been going really well between us since the moment we met.

But I feel like I want to know more about him, and he's so closed off… he just won't speak.

I've tried a few times, but he always changes the subject!"

"Maybe it's too soon for him to talk about his life!

Think of it that way.

He probably just needs more time… to get to know you better, and then he'll feel comfortable opening up about everything."

"I don't know… but I've found a way to learn more about him!"

"How?" Leo asked, curious.

"Are you serious? The same Han you wanted out of Smart's life just yesterday!

What happened now?"

"Are you serious? The Han you wanted to erase from Smart's life just yesterday!

What happened now?"

"Now that I've met him, he seems harmless, cute, and friendly.

Especially now that he knows me… he won't dare step on my territory.

If I keep him close, I'm sure he'll tell me everything.

I even brought him to work at the company so I can have him near."

"Are you kidding me? I can't believe it!

You're really mischievous, you know that?"

"I know! But this time, it's for a good reason.

I wanna learn everything about Smart, no matter what," he said.

"Anyway, tell me! How are things going with you and Ren?"

Leo immediately smiled, and in that moment, Jin realized there was no need for an answer.

The smile on Leo's face said it all.

Still, he decided to tease him a little more.

"How long are you gonna keep torturing him?" he asked, nudging lightly with his elbow.

"As long as it takes to make him crave me like crazy," he replied with a smirk.

"Careful… someone out there might take him," Jin continued, teasing without limits.

Leo looked him straight in the eyes.

"You know I'd never let that happen.

Now, chill, don't say more.

Let's go to the room and see what they're up to."

Smart, still lying on the bed, kept provoking Ren in every possible way.

"Hmmm… then tell me," he murmured, a teasing look in his eyes.

"Have you two… slept together?"

Ren understood very well what Smart was really asking,

but he chose to make him even more curious.

"We sleep together almost every night," he said casually.

"Ren, you asshole… you know exactly what I mean!"

"Shut up," Ren muttered, placing his hand over Smart's mouth.

"Mmm… I wanna know," Smart's voice came out muffled beneath his hand.

"Smart! What is it that you want to know?" Jin's voice was suddenly heard.

Jin and Leo had been standing at the door for a few seconds, watching and listening to what they were doing.

Smart turned his head and gave a sweet, slightly embarrassed smile.

"Nothing… I was just messing with Ren."

Ren immediately smiled when he noticed the change in Smart's behavior in Jin's presence.

Only Jin can make you behave like this now, he thought to himself.

Then he quickly lifted his gaze toward Leo.

"Didn't I tell you yesterday?

When I open my eyes, I wanna see you.

And what happens instead?

I wake up to this ugly creature's face."

Leo laughed softly and walked over to him.

"Are you feeling better?" he asked, gently taking both of his hands.

"I don't know… see for yourself if you're that worried," Ren said, frowning slightly.

Leo smiled right away, stepped closer, and gently pressed his lips to Ren's forehead before pulling back.

Smart watched them, then pinched Ren's arm.

Ren shoved him away.

"What are you still doing here? Get off the bed."

Then he turned to Jin.

"Keep your boyfriend under control… or I'll deal with him myself once I get up," he said, though his eyes stayed on Leo—soft, filled with longing.

Jin laughed.

"No one puts my boyfriend in his place… except me."

Smart turned his head and winked at him.

"I think I might have a bit of a fever," Ren said, pointing at his own lips.

"Can you check it for me?"

Smart opened his eyes, unable to look away from them.

Leo leaned in toward Ren's lips, so close that only a few centimeters separated them,

while Smart couldn't take his eyes off them, waiting for the moment to unfold.

Jin immediately pulled Smart up from the bed and said,

"Look at me! Okay?"

Smart tried to turn his head to see Ren with Leo,

but Jin grabbed him and held him tight, not letting him move.

Leo gently kissed Ren on the lips, then nudged his head with a finger.

"I think you're healed! Now get up and get ready for breakfast."

"Stay here with me a little longer," Ren said, grabbing him by the waist and pulling him onto his lap.

"So… do we go out or stay in?" Jin asked, grinning mischievously.

Leo knew exactly what Jin was doing.

"If you want to stay, go ahead… it's not a problem for us, right Ren?" he said, giving him a knowing look.

"Let's stay," Smart started to say,

but before he could finish, Jin grabbed him forcefully and pulled him outside.

He turned to close the door, and at that moment, Leo was looking Jin straight in the eyes.

Jin moved his lips. "Condom?"

Leo understood instantly and raised his middle finger.

Jin laughed and shut the door.

✧ — ✧ — ✧

Meanwhile, while Ren and Leo were spending a few sweet moments together — kissing and touching each other as if no one existed behind that door — Smart and Jin prepared themselves a coffee and stepped out onto the balcony.

It was a modern balcony with large glass panels.

On the floor, several big cushions were placed — perfect for drinking morning coffee, or even enjoying a glass of wine at night.

Along one side, there was a strip lined with decorative stones, and between them, a few small flowers were planted.

At night, the balcony was illuminated by soft neon lights placed along the side of the wall, just beneath the glass.

Smart and Jin sat down on the cushions, enjoying their coffee while watching the beautiful clouds forming in the sky.

Jin kept looking at that beautiful face, completely lost in his thoughts.

Those thoughts had already become part of his daily routine.

And the main one was always the same — when would the moment finally come when Smart would be his… when he would wake up every morning with that face right beside him?

"I adore your big eyes… and those perfectly shaped lips of yours," he whispered softly, his voice low and genuinely sweet.

His finger gently brushed over Smart's lips, caressing them for a few quiet seconds.

Smart looked straight into his eyes, and his face — even his ears — began to turn slightly red.

He hadn't blushed when Jin had placed his tongue on his nipple…

or even when he had kissed his dick in the car.

Okay, maybe he had blushed then too — but from overwhelming excitement, not because he felt shy.

Jin found it very difficult to give compliments like that, to openly express his feelings.

That's why, for Smart, this was something unexpected… and endlessly beautiful.

Smart smiled softly and immediately turned his head toward the sky so Jin wouldn't notice how red his face had become.

"I know you're really cute when you get shy," Jin said right away, shifting his gaze to the sky as well.

Smart rested his head against his shoulder.

"And you look so different… not like the usual Jin.

But in a good way. I really like this side of you."

Hearing that made Jin feel amazing.

He ran a hand lightly through Smart's hair at the back of his neck and whispered, low and teasing,

"Then I'll have to make sure you hear these compliments… more often."

"I can't wait to hear you say, 'Babe, I love you like crazy,'" Smart thought.

That's what I want to hear… from those delicious lips of yours.

He took another sip of his coffee, which was honestly made with more milk than actual coffee.

Jin had tried to make it like a macchiato, and somehow, he had managed to get pretty close.

"And I'll become even cuter for you," Smart said again.

"I want you to be the person you truly are, without forcing yourself.

That's what I want."

They spent a few quiet moments enjoying the view, a sweet moment they wished would never end.

Time felt like it should stop right there on the balcony.

"Bubu… have I ever told you how much I love the gray clouds in the sky?" Smart asked quickly.

"Nope! But I know this…" Jin said, gently running his fingers through Smart's hair.

Smart lifted his head immediately.

"You know? How?"

"So… you really like autumn. The leaves on the trees, and the gray clouds in the sky.

What you don't like that much is the sun.

You can't stand strong sunlight… am I right?"

Smart was truly surprised.

He had never once thought that Jin had noticed these little things about him.

"Tell me… how do you know all this?"

"When the sky is gray and full of clouds, you always keep your eyes on it.

It's the same with the stars.

Whenever the stars appear in the sky, your gaze always drifts upward."

Smart listened carefully.

"Go on…" he said every time Jin paused while speaking.

"And when the leaves fall from the trees, you like to collect them…

the yellow ones, the brown ones, even the green ones.

You want to touch them… and quietly play with them in your hands.

"Hmm… now that I think about it, I'll take you to the perfect spot… where you can enjoy the trees and leaves all the time," Jin said with a soft smile.

"Where?" Smart asked, curious.

"Surprise," Jin replied, letting the curiosity build.

"And when the sun is out," Jin continued, "you always put on sunglasses and never really look at the sky.

You try to hide from it and stay in the shade."

Smart smiled softly, thinking how well Jin was starting to know him, and he felt so happy about it.

"Am I right?" Jin asked again.

"Hmm… yes!

But you've probably seen my photos on Instagram," Smart said, chuckling lightly.

Smart used Instagram a lot, sharing photos of his daily routine.

A coffee on his balcony in the morning… or shots of the trees with their leaves.

Pictures of him with Zoi, in the middle of the forest.

He used to have some photos of himself dancing in pubs too, but he deleted them immediately as soon as he got together with Jin.

"You're right… I've seen the photos on your Instagram too.

But what I'm telling you now… I'm basing it on the time I've spent with you."

"Can you tell me… why don't you like the sun?"

"I don't like it," Smart replied.

"It feels like it's burning me with its rays, and my eyes hurt.

"But the gray clouds and autumn… I don't have any specific reason to dislike them.

It's just… a feeling.".

I know many people feel a bit sad or even depressed during times like this,

but for me… it's the opposite.

I actually feel a positive vibe."

Smart took a deep breath and leaned back against Jin's shoulder.

"Now that I think about it… right at this moment, in my place, the sky will be dark and full of stars.

Mom and Dad will be asleep."

His voice sounded sad… and full of longing.

Jin wrapped him tightly in his arms.

"Are you very close to your parents?"

Smart took a deep breath and rested his head against Jin's chest.

"I'm more than close to them. We have a perfect relationship.

Zoi, of course, is the pampered one.

They've sacrificed so much for us… and they raised us so well."

Smart paused for a moment, then spoke again.

"My mom… she's done so much for us! She left everything behind here and went to live in my dad's country.

When I think about it, I realize how hard it must have been for her… to leave her family, her life, her dreams… all for us."

Even though Jin was hearing sad words, he felt happy that Smart was opening up to him and sharing more about his life.

He held him tightly against himself, whispering that everything was okay, that family was what mattered most and nothing else.

He told him that his mom must be so happy and proud of the decision she made.

"Love isn't about where you live… it's about the people," Jin said, finally giving Smart a gentle smile.

"What about you, Jin? You haven't really told me anything about yourself… or your family," Smart asked, curious.

Jin hesitated for a moment, showing that he wasn't ready to share that part yet.

Smart felt it, and gently took his hand, stroking it.

"It's okay… whenever you're ready, you can tell me. Don't rush. I'll be here."

"Damn… I used to complain to Leo, saying Smart doesn't trust me and doesn't tell me about his life.

But now… what am I doing?

I'm doing the same thing.

Fuck!"

"Smart," he said, "my mom had me when she was eighteen and raised me on her own."

He took a deep breath.

"I've never known my father."

Smart gently held his hands again.

"There's nothing wrong with that, Bubu. Your mom was both a mother and a father to you, right?"

"She has been the beast of my life," Jin said, kissing Smart on the head, feeling so happy that he had come into his life.

Smart wanted to change the subject, not wanting to dwell on sad things.

It was a beautiful morning, and he just wanted to enjoy it with Jin.

"Hey Jin… why didn't you let me watch that scene, so I could tease Ren about it later?" Smart said, laughing.

Jin gave him a look.

"You're only allowed to watch our kisses!"

Smart looked at him, confused, not quite understanding what Jin meant.

He turned his coffee, spilling a little, when Jin leaned in and kissed him softly on the lips.

Smart's heart was racing with excitement.

"What are you doing?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

"Do you want to watch a kiss?" Jin teased.

"Then I'll give you one to taste… not just to watch."

Smart looked into his eyes and leaned closer to his lips.

"Can I… taste it again?" he whispered.

Jin couldn't hold back any longer and kissed him immediately, savoring every moment.

Smart surrendered to the kiss, losing himself completely in those beautiful lips.

Jin explored every inch of them, and Smart didn't want to pull away.

Jin hesitated for a moment, looking him in the eyes.

"I haven't punished you yet for yesterday's mistake…"

"Mistake?

I'm a good guy. I don't make mistakes," Smart said, turning his gaze back to the beautiful sky.

The moment Smart wasn't looking at him, Jin knew very well what was going on.

Smart always did that whenever he was lying or manipulating.

Jin grabbed him by the waist and immediately pulled him onto his lap.

"Do you want your punishment to be doubled?" he whispered softly into his ear.

"How… could you punish me?" Smart asked, laughing.

"Hmmm… disappearing for a few days, as if I didn't exist at all," Jin replied quietly.

Smart immediately felt Jin teasing him.

"Then I hope you'll find me here when you get back," he said, looking him in the eyes.

Jin hadn't expected those words from him, and a sudden chill washed over him.

The mere thought of Smart disappearing, of not being able to find him, made him feel weaker than ever.

He felt his chest tighten, and the color drained from his face.

Smart noticed immediately and pulled him into a hug.

"Bubu… I was just joking. Calm down, I'm not going anywhere…"

"Ah, except maybe in my hometown.

But if I ever disappear, you know where to find me," Smart added, hugging him even tighter.

"Don't you dare leave me.

You're not allowed to do that.

I don't even want you to think about it," Jin said, his arms tightening even more around Smart's waist.

"Hey… calm down, I'm not disappearing anywhere," Smart said, trying to free himself a little from Jin's arms.

"Don't move. I want us to stay like this," Jin said firmly.

"Babe… I like you to the point of madness," Jin's voice floated through the air.

Smart's breath almost stopped in that moment.

It was the first time Jin had ever said those words, and he couldn't even react.

Secretly, he was smiling, feeling happier than ever.

He moved immediately between Jin's legs, pressing his back against Jin's chest.

The two of them stayed silent for a few seconds, just gazing at the beautiful view beyond the balcony.

The warm breeze played with Smart's hair, and Jin gently tried to fix it with his hand.

They didn't say a word. The silence was overwhelming, filled with everything they couldn't put into words.

Then Smart turned his head slightly toward Jin and whispered,

"I like you more."

Jin's heart pounded in his chest.

He cupped Smart's chin and whispered softly,

"You've no idea how long I've waited to hear those words.

You can't escape me… you belong to me."

Then he pressed a gentle kiss to Smart's soft, sweet lips, sealing the moment perfectly.
