"Let me get this straight… When you entered your door, you and your group heard someone calling for help and decided to investigate. You found the princess and her bodyguard, but didn't we leave both of them in Tristan's hands?" Galaxy said she summarised what Finn had explained to her, but she was confused about the situation as she began to wonder where Tristan could be right now.
"Prez, that's not all. Two of them also said that before they left, they saw a person with dark hair and two daggers…the person oddly resembled one of the assailants who attacked the academy during the exam festival," Finn said as the other group members were treating Riot and Lenora further away while giving Finn and Galaxy some space to talk.
After hearing all what finn had to say, Galaxy began to work her brain as she struggled to understand what in hell's name was going on.
"What the hell's happening… I don't get it…I don't get what's happening at all, right now I shouldn't worry about that the most; the most I should be worried about is Tristan." Galaxy said as she wandered in her thoughts. Finn took a look at her and quickly put on a sly grin.
"Worrying about your fiancé?!" Finn said in a teasing making the air around the room lighter. Galaxy, who had just realised what he meant by that, gave him a big whack on the head.
"Owwww!… what was that for prez?" Finn yelled as he held his head in pain.
"Come on, all of you, let's go!" Galaxy said the other group members were surprised at her orders.
"Lady Galaxy, are you seriously thinking of taking Princess Lenora?"
"It's too dangerous, President!" The group protested as Finn, Galaxy, and Lenora remained silent.
"I don't think our higness would want to go anywhere, but if you still don't feel assured, let's ask her then," Galaxy said as she turned her attention to Lenora. The others looked at her as well, waiting for an answer.
"I'm going, of course, and all of you don't have to worry, my personal bodyguard is here, he'll protect me," Lenora said with a warm smile, easing the others' tension.
"As if you're just tagging along cause you think Tristan might come!" Galaxy and Finn thought to themselves as they awkwardly smiled at her.
As they moved deeper into the city, they noticed more structures of the underground city; one looked like a temple, while others looked like a market section. The place was dark and strange, and their only source of light was from a ball of fire that one of the group members made.
When they reached the center of the city, they noticed the long stairway leading to the top. Galaxy stopped as she sensed an overwhelming amount of magic coming out from the top of the stairs.
"Prez, you feel that?!" Finn asked as he went on full alert, getting ready for the danger that was soon yet to come.
"Yeah, it's too much even for me!" Galaxy said as she also got ready for battle, Riot and Lenora also felt the huge amount of magic that was pouring out from the top.
"I really hope Tristan's alright." Lenora woefully said as she looked at the top.
"Don't worry, Princess, I'm sure he's alright, but right now we have to deal with whatever is up there," Riot said as he eased the tension growing within Lenora. She warmly smiled as she thought of how dependable Riot is.
"Listen up, everyone, both Finn and I will head to the top. The rest of you will protect Her Royal Highness!" Galaxy said in a formal tone as she took a step forward. No one complained about the decision, and everyone quickly stuck to their roles. Galaxy and Finn ran up the staircase with a serious and stern look; they had already hardened their resolve on the upcoming threat.
"And where do you two think you're going!" Smoke, one of the members who attacked the academy during the festival, said as he stood before Finn and Galaxy.
"You're one of them, aren't you!" Finn yelled as he pulled out his sword.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, the name's Smokes, and I've been ordered to stop you from reaching the top since you foiled our plan of kidnapping the princess, so… kindly—"
*THUMP* Finn activated his special skill 'Hero time' And kicked Smoke to another part of the underground city.
"Prez, I'm sure you can handle whatever is up there, so… I'll take this bastard off your hands," Finn said as he darted towards where smoke had landed, his glowing Sapphire aura leaving a trail behind him.
"I leave the rest to you finn," Galaxy said as she glanced at him and then focused her attention on the top.
Finn ran on top of the buildings as his hair danced around like waves, his eyes glowed sapphire, and his aura made him look more majestic.
"I he landed right about….HERE!" Finn said to himself as he quickly jumped in the air, as Smoke came right underneath his feet. Something was new about him; he had a green aura around him, and his once violet eyes turned a glowing green. His short blonde hair also fluttered like waves.
"Your Finn Reignheart, right…you know I've been looking for you for a long time." Smoke said as Finn regained a proper footing on one of the buildings.
"Smoke landed on another building that was opposite to the Finns.
"What's he blabbering about?!" Finn thought to himself as he looked at Smokemin, a wary face.
"Finn as my polar opposite, it's my job to….KILL YOU!" Smoke yelled as he pulled out his katana and dashed towards Finn, aiming to slash at him, but Finn quickly countered by clashing against the sword with his.
"He's fast, I guess this form is a transformation just like mine." Finn thought to himself as he struggled to push Smoke's back.
"ALRIGHT, THIS IS STARTING TO GET FUN… IT'S VILLAIN TIME! Smoke yelled as he grinned at Finn.
