Midworld started falling from the sky at an incredible speed, a loud clacking sound escorting it all the way down as it dropped like a meteor descending from the heavens.
Hope had finally begun returning to the demons' hearts. With the sheer scale of what was happening, if that thing really crashed straight into the ground, there wouldn't be anyone left alive in Midworld. The humans would have lost before the fight had even begun.
"It's alright, I forgive yah."
Sandra was responding to the flood of apologies coming from the two who had earlier wanted to beat her up.
"I would've done the same if it was my turn. I know you hold your kind dearly, and I wouldn't do anything to destroy that."
She spoke like a true friend to demonkind, and after what she had just done, Jamie hadn't been wrong to trust her.
