Alex looked at the General, whose posture remained unchanged. Despite the impact, she had not taken a single step back, while his sword had been broken.
He looked at the fragments of the sword scattered across the ground, having dealt no damage to his opponent. Alex felt a tightness in his chest upon seeing the broken sword. This had been his first weapon in this world. It was with this sword that his journey had begun.
"Did you give up?"
The General's crimson eyes radiated coldness as she asked, seeing Alex's contorted expression.
"No."
Alex denied it, shaking his head as he gathered the fragments of the sword and placed them in his storage.
He raised his hand toward the General, and Excalibur appeared, pointed at his opponent.
