Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: My Stepmother Is A MILF?!

Sarah flinched at the top of the stairs. In love? With me?

Her cheeks flushed. She froze—heart pounding, barely breathing—as she listened in.

Downstairs, Jake groaned. "Please shut the hell up and sit down."

But Jimmy was far from done. "Nah, nah, nah, bro—you can't lie to me. This is just like those manhwas we used to read. You remember?"

"What? It's nothing like that," Jake shot back. "And wait—you still read those?"

Jimmy ignored him completely. "Damn, if you're crushing on her, she's gotta be one hell of a MILF. Be honest—scale of one to ten... how hot is she?"

Jake's patience snapped. "First of all—she's married. Second, she's UPSTAIRS… with her husband. And third—THAT HUSBAND IS MY DAD!" He threw his arms up. "WHAT THE HELL, MAN?!"

Jimmy backed off, hands raised in mock surrender. "Okay, okay! Chill. I get it… you wanna keep your hot stepmom to yourself."

Jake glared. "Jimmy. I said I wanted to talk. Get serious."

Jimmy finally dropped onto the couch, his energy simmering down. "Alright, alright. I'm listening."

Jake exhaled. "Okay… her name's Sarah and—"

Soft footsteps echoed from the stairs.

Both turned.

Sarah appeared in a loose tank top and sweatpants, her hair slightly tousled—but still effortlessly beautiful.

Jimmy's jaw dropped. "DAAAMN. That's her? THAT'S the MILF?!"

"Yup, that's her—my stepmom," Jake muttered, voice low.

Sarah stepped down and waved warmly.

"Hey, boys! You didn't tell me you had a friend over, Jake. I would've cooked something nice," she said with a bold, friendly smile—like she and Jake actually shared a perfect stepmother-stepson bond.

"Ah, no—he's unwanted," Jake said with a forced smile, shooting Jimmy a glare. "He was just leaving."

His voice held a hint of embarrassment, but Sarah just chuckled, clearly amused.

"Oh… yes, yes, I… I was just leaving," Jimmy stammered, standing awkwardly. "Pleasure meeting you, Mrs. Blackwell." He extended a hand politely.

Jake stayed seated, trying to disappear.

"Nonsense," Sarah said with a warm smile. "Stick around and have dinner with us."

She took Jimmy's hand, shook it gently—and let her fingers linger just a second too long, her eyes locking with his in a way that felt… intentional.

Jimmy blinked, caught off guard by the unexpected softness of her touch—and the look in her eyes.

"O-oh… well, if you insist," he stuttered, managing a nervous smile.

Jake rubbed his forehead in disbelief.

What the hell is happening right now…?

"Goodie," Sarah said with a bright, almost playful tone. "I'll be in the kitchen. You boys carry on."

She turned and walked off, her long, silky hair brushing lightly against Jimmy's face as she passed.

"Hold up—what about Dad?" Jake called after her, his tone a little sharper.

Sarah paused at the edge of the kitchen, glancing back with a calm smile. "He's asleep. Poor thing was exhausted when he got in."

Jake raised a brow. "So… he's not joining us for dinner?"

She shook her head. "No. He mentioned eating out. And I don't want to disturb him."

Jimmy sat frozen, eyes still locked on her as she disappeared into the kitchen, completely speechless.

Jake glanced at him. "Close your mouth, dude. You're drooling."

"Shut up," Jimmy muttered, snapping out of it. He blinked hard, shaking his head and wiping his face like he'd been caught red-handed. "Woah…"

Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Sarah stirred the pot absentmindedly—though her thoughts were anything but casual.

Hehe… Looks like I'll get some good info out of that one, she thought with a sly smile, eyes glinting with quiet calculation.
