"Now die!"
Luffy roared and charged at him, his body instantly surrounded by purple steam as he shifted into Gear Second.
"What do you think you're doing?"
With a lazy flick of his arm, Douglas tossed Usopp aside. Luffy leapt forward to catch him—
—but in the blink of an eye, Douglas appeared right in front of him and smashed a fist into Luffy's face.

Luffy was sent crashing into the ground, buried in debris.
Zoro grabbed his sword, eyes blazing. "Luffy!!! Damn it!!"
Luffy struggled to his feet, blood dripping down his chin."You're the one who took down Trafalgar, aren't you?"
Douglas gave a cold smile. "Tough one, aren't you?"
Buggy's eyes went wide with disbelief."No way... It's him?! He used to sail with me—on the Roger Pirates!"
"Douglas !"
"He was once as strong as Rayleigh himself—a total monster!"
Douglas Bullet's expression darkened. "Enough talk. Let's begin."
Before anyone could move, cannon fire split the sky. Someone had leaked their location—the Navy's Grand Fleet was closing in fast!
Chaos erupted everywhere.
"The first fleet has reached the outer sea!" came a voice from the Marine lines.
Feista exhaled a puff of smoke. "Vice Admiral Momonga's here.""So what now?"
He raised his voice, taunting the pirates around him."So, navigators of the sea—will you fight… or run like rats?"
Luffy snarled. "Hey! I'm talking to you!""You laid a hand on my crew—you'd better be ready for what's coming!"
Douglas laughed softly. "Crew? You mean that worthless fool who couldn't even guard a treasure chest?"
"I've heard they call you the 'Worst Generation.'""If you want treasure so badly, come at me—all of you!"
His Conqueror's Haki burst out in a shockwave. Countless pirates dropped to their knees, unconscious.
Drake's eyes widened. "That's Conqueror's Haki…!"
Urouge grinned. "Like a demon out of hell."
Apoo shouted over the chaos, "This guy's insane!"
Kidd laughed wildly. "Perfect. Just my kind of fight!"
Douglas's aura raged across the battlefield, an inferno of dominance.
But Luffy stood firm within it, unflinching. Then, his own Haki exploded outward—a furious red storm crashing against the blue.
The air trembled as their wills collided.
A deafening blast split the sky—then both auras vanished, leaving only shreds of blue and red energy flickering through the air.
Douglas smirked. "What's wrong, 'Worst Generation'? Too scared to move?"
Luffy shouted back, his voice raw with anger. "Your opponent is me!!"
From the Sunny, Nami yelled, "Zoro! We'll try to reach Sanji's side! Start preparing to pull out!""The Navy's numbers are way too high—we can't just brute force our way out!"
Luffy clenched his fist. "Usopp's mine! Leave the Sunny to me!"
Zoro nodded grimly.
Just then, Bartolomeo's ship pulled alongside."Senpai! Let us help too!"
Zoro smirked. "Perfect timing. Let's move!"
One by one, the pirate crews began to retreat.
Kidd sneered. "You old has-been. Fresh out of prison and already getting cocky, huh?"
Douglas's face hardened. "Come, then. Let's see if you're worth my time."
Luffy shouted at the other Supernovas, "Stay out of this!"
Kidd laughed. "After I'm done with him, you're next, Straw Hat!"
Douglas grinned viciously. "If you won't come to me… I'll come to you!"
He dashed forward, his power exploding. Luffy's fists turned black with Armament Haki, the air around him rippling.
Their punches met with a thunderclap—
—and Luffy was driven deep into the ground again, screaming in pain.
Douglas vanished and reappeared behind the others, sending Kidd, Drake, and Urouge flying in a single instant.
Hawkins retreated frantically, forming a talisman. "Divine Punishment Avatar!"
Douglas's fist smashed through the straw effigy like it was paper.
Nearby, Apoo pounded on his chest. "Boom! Boom!!"
Explosions erupted behind Douglas, lighting up the air——but he waved a hand, and the flames simply vanished.
Then he lunged, slamming Apoo aside with one brutal punch.

Douglas's punch sent the green dinosaur version of Drake flying.
A sudden flock of birds surrounded him, pecking and diving."Damn it—what is this?!" he snarled.
Bonney appeared from above, her heel slamming into his jaw."You're embarrassing yourself, old man! Turn into a kid already!"
Douglas grabbed her leg midair and hurled her into the ground.
BOOM!
The earth cracked beneath the impact, dust exploding outward.
Luffy rose again, purple steam curling off his body. His right arm inflated."Gomu Gomu no... Elephant Gun!!!"
At the same time, Kidd's metal arm morphed into a tangled weapon of gears and blades as he charged forward.
Douglas flexed, grabbing both their attacks and swinging them into each other—Luffy's punch slammed into Kidd's face, and Kidd's into Luffy's.
"Hey, you idiot!"
"Stay out of my way!!" they both shouted at once.
Capone Bege roared, "You two morons! Don't mess this up!"
His whole body transformed into a fortress, cannons extending from every wall."Big Father!!!"
Luffy's eyes sparkled. "Whoa! So cool!!"
The fortress unleashed a barrage of cannon fire——but Douglas punched every shell out of the air like it was nothing.
Then he charged forward and smashed directly into Big Father, shattering the entire structure apart.
