Rogel heard this and glanced at the Female Blood Race on the ground.
Then, the Black Tide surged and sent her to Flakmir's side.
Watching the fear gradually fade from the Female Blood Race's eyes, Flakmir furrowed his brows, seemingly pondering something but remained silent.
After finishing all this, Rogel planned to turn and leave.
"Was it you who killed those children in the Imperial City?"
Flakmir suddenly spoke.
Upon hearing this, Rogel halted his steps and turned to him, "Yes, and what then?"
To this, Flakmir merely shook his head slightly:
"To offend a great being is to pay for it with one's life."
His words were indifferent, carrying an air of inevitability, even if those who died were of his own kin.
A moment later, the black mist dispersed.
Flakmir looked at the Female Blood Race beside him and spoke blandly, "Think before you act next time."
"In the Blood Empire, you're Flakmir's daughter, but before a mightier being, you're merely an ant."
