On the west side of the magic city university, the stall was buzzing with activities as more and more people starting to come by to enjoy the best BBQ with their friends and roommates.
"Boom"
With a roar three luxury cars came to an halt in front of the BBQ stall garnering everyone's attention, under the everyone's envious gazes 5 stunning figures stepped out of the car diverting everyone attention from the car to themselves. Gong Li and ZiYi walked into the stall followed by Lin Yun and other's upon entering they saw that the tables are already full so they decided to stand in line for their chance to come.
The stall was large with approximately 10 tables neatly arranged in an order with an anple space in between for people to walk freely. Half an hour later the the waiter called their number upon hearing that it's their turn Lin Yun and other's showed a hint of joy as they walked in upon seeing them take their seats the waitress walked over to them. Upon seeing that Gong Li and ZiYi were present among them the waitress wore a knowing smile as she spoke
"One beef squares, and a "
"I would like to have a pork"
"Same as her"
"I will go with ----"
"Okay, please wait for a moment. I will be back in a moment with your order"
Saying that the waitress walked away with a lively facade, as she left Yue Xi turned to Gong Li adopting a heartbroken 💔 expression as she exclaimed
"How can you do this to me? How could you abandon me while you relish such a good food"
Gong Li rolled her eye's retorting
"Who told you to go out with your boyfriend daily and ignore us two poor souls to ourselves"
"Wait, sister Yue had a boyfriend "
Lin Xi interjected as she fixed her eye's on Yue Xi, Lin Yun raise her eye brow as she had never heard three of them talking about Yue Xi's boyfriend fixing her gaze on Yue Xi as well. Yue Xi coughed wryly as she answered
"It would be more suited to call him as my fiancée instead of placing him as my boyfriend, I and the youngest son of Qin family had a prior engagement and both our family started arranging blind dates since I turned 18 to cultivate our feelings before marriage"
Lin Yun and Lin Xi nodded in realization as Lin Yun continued
"So, do you have feelings for him or not"
Yue Xi lowered her head her cheeks flushed as she nodded in agreement, Lin Yun chuckled softly and was about to press further when the waitress came back with ---- and placed them on the table as she lid up the small grill in the middlebefore walking away as she told them to call her if need anything. Meanwhile in the girls dormitory Long Lie'er was on a call with her father as she fazed into the night sky turning black recounting everything that happened in the morning. As for Wu Qianqian she was lying on the bed typing away in her phone.
"So, as per your encounter Long family head and Shengguan Yun joined hands trying to find the real mastermind behind the ban"
Long Wei spoke through the phone his voice low and troubled, after a brief silence Long Wei spoke again
"I understood, you should concentrate on your studies for now I will take care of rest soon"
Long Lie'er pursed her lips and nodded her head with disappointment and self blame before nodding in agreement
"Understood"
After exchanging few more pleasantries Long Lie'er hang up the call and opened the partition and entered the room, Wu Qianqian look in her direction and sat up as she exclaimed
"Lie'er you are famous right now, everyone are talking about you"
Long Lie'er didn't respond but walked over to her desk and log in to the campus network what came into view was the video of Shengguo ----- humiliating her in from of the girls dormitory, Long Lie'er clenched her soft and delicate hand before closing the window and hopped up on to the bed and covered herself under the blanket. Wu Qianqian look at Long Lie'er with worry and pity, on the other hand Lin Yun and Lin Xi along with Yue Xi, Gong Li and ZiYi completed their dinner and stepped out of the barbeque restaurant.
As soon as they stepped out Lin Yun and Lin Xi saw a familiar figure standing not far away both of them exchanged glances, Lin Yun sighed in resignation before explaining
"I had some thing to take care off, you should go back. I will be back by morning"
Lin Xi look at Lin Yun and then at Jane who was standing at the distance and nodded reluctantly as she turned around and walked in the opposite direction Lin Yun stood their until Lin Xi and others Lin Yun turned around and walked to the luxurious yet low-key car parked on the other side of the road. Upon Seeing Lin Yun walking over she opened the back seat and stood on the side her poster lowered slightly, Lin Yun nodded before stepping into the back seat.
Lin Yun leaned back into the seat as she closed her eyes, Jane seeing this turned the volume down before adjusting AC. Starting the car Jane stepped on the accelerator making the car move forward. An hour later Jane pulled into the drive way and she slowing called out to Lin Yun, meanwhile Lin Xi returning to the dorm room push open the door to the room only to see that lights are already off.
Turning on the lights she saw Wu Qianqian sitting their scrolling through her phone like a zombie: Ahhh.
Lin Xi startled took two steps back only to realize that Was none other than Wu Qianqian, she patted her chest as she turned to Wu Qianqian asking
"What are you doing?"
"I chatting with my friends"
Wu Qianqian responded feeling a bit wronged, Long Lie'er who fell asleep while crying woke up as she peeked out only to see Lin Xi and Wu Qianqian at a stand off. Not in the mood to fight Long Lie'er retreated going back to sleep.
Feeling Long Lie'er was acting a bit weird Lin Xi pulled Wu Qianqian to the side. After enquiring about the situation Lin Xi's fury ignited as she furiously started typing on her computer. Few minutes later Lin Xi stretched lazily as she closed the computer and went back to bed.
Meanwhile on the other hand Lin Yun entered the house and found that Lin Yi had already retreated to the bed. Lin Yun decided not to disturb his rest and went back to her room. Next day Lin Yun woke up as usual amdwent on a run by the time she returned she saw Lin Yi taking dogs to the walk.
Seeingnher father Lin Yun ran over as she greeted him
"Good morning father"
"Hmmm, you're up sorry I fell a sleep last night"
Lin Yi said as he ruffled Lin Yun's head lovingly, both of them walked side by side stepping back inside. After having breakfast Lin Yun took her father to the study, Lin Yi survey the room and nodded in approval. Lin Yun brought two cups of tea and placed them on the table in the middle. Lin Yi sat at the table and took a sip as he looked at Lin Yun praising
"Hmm, not bad your skills improved a lot"
"Thanks dad, so tell me why did you call me back all of a sudden"
Lin Yun asked still a bit puzzled an curious at the same time, Lin Yi placed the cup on the table and slipped a file to Lin Yun saying
"Look at them you will know it"
Lin Yun uncertain took the file and looked at it, her complexation turned pale as she continued looking through the documents. Tears started to fall from the corners of Lin Yun's cheek seeing that Lin Yi walked over to Lin Yun's side and draped a hand around Lin Yun's shoulder comforting her.
"It's okay you are in the safe hands"
Lin Yun as if dam was broken throwed into Lin Yi's arms sobbing, After a brief sobbing Lin Yun composed herself amd looked at his father. Remembering something she enquired
"How did you figure it out"
"I looked into your fathers past school and workplace, they were no traces of him dating anyone and suddenly he brought a women and declared your mother as his lover. With this point I looked into places he visited and found he went hiking with friends and went missing. Few days later he admitted a heavily injured women who was 6-7 months pregnant once she recovered he learned about memory loss"
Lin Yi paused before looking at Lin Yun as he revealed an ultimatum
"I personally went to Lin city and met your foster father and he confessed everything, the moment he saw your mother he fell for her on first sight and after learning she lost her memories he lied to your mother saying she was his lover and the baby she was carrying was his."
"So, after going back he convinced his parents and married her but didn't get any legal certification"
Lin Yi nodded as he slid another envelope towards Lin Yun saying
"This was the letter he asked me to give you"
Lin Yun didn't take the letter instead she looked at his father saying
"Can I meet him?"
"Ofcourse, I will follow you from the sides"
Lin Yi said afraid Lin Yun feel pressured meet those parents who abused her mentally and physically, Lin Yun shook her head before saying
"No need, I will go all by myself on national holiday next month"
Saying that she took and envelope and stored it in her drawer. At 10 Am Lin Yi left the city while Lin Yun was dropped off by Jane. After stepping into the dorm she felt the oppressive atmosphere around her. Lin Yun a bit puzzled hang her bag as she burrowed under Lin Yi's blanket.
Under the blanked Lin Xi was was watching a movie with her head phones on and didn't saw Lin Yun enter. Sensing the moment beside her Lin Xi sat up as she removed her headphones. Upon seeing that it was her owe sister she relaxed and enquired
"When did you come back?"
"Just a moments ago"
Lin Yun said as she sat landed beside Lin Xi as she spoke
"Is something going on with those two?"
"Ah those two"
Lin Xi looked at their tightly closed curtains and sighed explaining
"Someone posted Long Lie'er video in the university forum and was filled with nasty comments about her and fell asleep while crying. Meanwhile Wu Qianqian was feeling guiltyfor showing it to Long Lie'er"
Lin Yun's eyes darkened as she enquired with a gritted teeth
"Did you track who was behind it"
Lin Xi nodded as she opened her tab and showed it to Lin Yun saying
"It was Shengguan Yun, I also found that the Long family young master Long Ju stirred up the pot by adding fuel to it"
"It's long family again, I will take care of them. Get ready Wang Xing Yue was on his way didn't we agree on going to shopping"
Saying that Lin Yun sat up before stepping down, Lin Xi followed suit while Lin Yun wash her face Lin Xi was standing infront of the mirror selecting the suitable dress. Wu Qianqian on the opposite bunk peeked out and upon seeing Lin Xi infront of the mirror. Wu Qianqian stepped down and walked over to Lin Xi's side, as she leaned in Lin Xi sensed her presence and turned about almost bumping into Wu Qianqian.
Wu Qianqian took a step back and looked at Lin Xi infront of her who lifted two of her dresses up asking
"Qianqian which one suits me better"
Wu Qianqian looked at both dresses and then at Lin Xi saying
"Both suits you but that pink one will be good for outing"
Lin Xi lowered the white dress and lifted the pink dress a bit higher and looked at he reflected in the mirror. A satisfied smile appeared on her face as she tossed the white dress to the side. Wu Qianqian looked proud about her selection and puffed up her chest but quickly adopted to the situation and enquired
"Are going out?"
"Hmm, I am going to shopping. Wait why don't you guys join us too"
Lin Xi asked as she turned around as she revealed a bright smile adding
"Lin Yun and Wang Xing Yue were coming amd tagging along with them will make me a third wheel"
Wu Qianqian didn't respond instead he turned to Long Lie'er bed and spoke
"Don't Lie'er remain in the dorm all alone then"
Lin Xi followed Qianqian gaze as he eyes fell on Long Lie'er bed side and revealed two dimples at the corner of her lips amd leaned in whispering something in Wu Qianqian ear. Wu Qianqian eyes lid up as she nodded before walking back to her desk and retrieved her make-up kit.
Few minutes later, Lin Yun walked out of the bathroom amd saw Wu Qianqian amd Lin Xi were both getting ready. she didn't say anything instead turned to Long Lie'er bed side and knocked on the bunk. Long Lie'er with a puffed face slowly peaked out and looked at Lin Yun who was standing at the side.
She wiped her tears and smiled slightly yet that smile didn't reach her eyes. Lin Yun sighed internally but didn't express it out loud instead she lifted Long Lie'er with one hand effortlessly. Long Lie'er's eyes widened in disbelief as she was lifted effortlessly Lin Yun smiled knowingly while Wu Qianqian applying mascara froze in mid air her jaw wide open.
Lin Yun placed Long Lie'er on the ground and forcefully pushed her into the restroom saying
"Freshen up"
Before closing the door behind without any expression Lin Yun walked over to the desk and sat down as she put on light make-up over. Soon Long Lie'er walked out with towel wrapped around her body. All three of them looked at her in unison making her blush slightly, Lin Yun tilted her head slightly and pointed to Long Lie'er bed saying
"Put something on."
Long Lie'er looked down at almost revealing body amd shyly walked back to her desk and retrieved a denim shorts and white tank top. Making her legs look long and elegant Lin Xi stood up and walked over to Long Lie'er side and exerted pressure on her shoulders making her settle into the chair. Lin Xi looked at Long Lie'er complexation in the mirror in front and started applying make-up.
Meanwhile Wu Qianqian done with her make-up walkedstood up and opened her closet she thought for a moment and selected a white jeans with pink loose blouse. Meanwhile Lin Yun changed into a white floral dress covering her knees completely. Lin Yun took out her phone and was about to call when her phone rang, Lin Yun answered the call with her lips curved slightly.
"Hello, Yun Yun I was in front of the girls dorm are you guys ready yet"
"We are done on my why"
Saying that Lin Yun looked at her two roommates who looked back at her with a tacit understanding between them. five minutes later infront of the girls dorm Wang Xing Yue leaning back on the blue Lamborghini Temerario. He was scrolling through the phone occasionally glancing towards the dormitory entrance. The passers-by looked at him with eyes full of longing in their eyes some bolder one even approaching for contact info.
Wang Xing Yue rejected all of them politely, a slender women with rounds face and sharp eyes brows walked overto Wang Xing Yue's side and shyly extended her hand as she asked
"Hello, i'm Li Sisi can I get to know you"
Wang Xing Yue raised his head slightly and responded
"Sorry, my friend list was full"
Saying that he lowered his head and didn't even look at her again. The unfazed was about to press further when a shadow looked over her, Li SiSi eyes narrowed slightly as she turned around. Behind her stood exquisite figures each one with their own charm even one of them will rival her in looks and figure.
She unconsciously took a step back almost bumping into Wang Xing Yue, Lin Yun supported her and with a twist of her hand Li SiSi was dragged away. Lin Xi shook her head with a hint of disappointment on her face remarking
"Tsk,Tsk.. Wang Xing Yue I thought you're here early to show your sincerity so your main purpose is to flirt with girls."
Wang Xing Yue's lips twitched but didn't say anything instead looked at Lin Yun. Lin Yun didn't payed any mind to Wang Xing Yue instead looked at Li SiSi asking
"Are you feeling okay? Miss"
Li Sisi's cheeks flushed crimson as she nodded as she scrambled to her feet and running away. Lin Yun was puzzled but didn't say anything instead turned to Lin Xi and and others saying
"Let me call cab first"
"No need, I already called a cab for you three young ladies"
Wang Xing Yue said as he pressed on Lin Yun's hand which was holding a phone. Even before Lin Yun can speak Lin Xi cut in
"Three what about Lin Yun"
Wang Xing Yue's lips twitched slightly but he calmed himself before saying
"She will be riding with me"
Lin Xi smiled but didn't press further instead she linked her arms with Wu Qianqian and Long Lie'er. She walked ahead without any backward glance leaving Lin Yun and Wang Xing Yue in place.
