Lin Yun paused as she look at Wang Xing Yue, perplexed he turned to her who was standing two steps behind him asking
"What's wrong"
Lin Yun took two steps forward as she look at Wang Xing Yue with an expectant eye's asking
"Would you be interested in accompanying me for a shopping tomorrow"
Wang Xing Yue leaned in as he adopted a teasing stands in response in asked as the corners of his lips curled up into an arc
"oh my, are you asking me out of a date"
Lin Yun rolled her eye's as she robutted
"I was just short on free labourer who can carry my shopping bags"
"oh, i seams to be too excited for nothing"
Wang Xing Yue wore a disappointment expression as he turned away and walked away, Lin Yun impatient followed suit as she pressed on
"Are you willing to or not"
"Fine, i will"
Wang Xing Yue acquiesced as he pretended to be hurt, Lin Yun gazing into the distance upon seeing that they are almost at the girls dormitory she quickened her pace as she closed the distance between her and Lin Xi followed by Wang Xing Yue. As they reached the entrance they behold the spectacle in front of the girls dormitory as the throng of people gathered around signifying the elation of the spectacle. Lin Xi and Lin Yun exchanged curious glances as they made their way towards the center.
There two burly guards were pining a girl who was not inferior to Lin Xi to the ground, in front of her stood a girl with a beautiful yet arrogant expression wearing a smug expression. Lin Yun turned to the nearby person who exhibits a nativity seemingly well aware of the situation enquiring
"Hi, what's going on here?"
The man turned to the side with a gossipy demeanour suggesting that he was recounting the situation for a few individuals. Upon seeing Lin Yun's eternal beauty and poise he was momentarily pause his face flushing with shyness, Lin Xi on the side rolled her eye's internally as she waved her hand in front of Zhang Kun bringing him back to reality only then he diverted his gaze toLin Xi who was exceptionally beautiful albeit in her own way. Lin Xi didn't give Zhang Kun time to think as she enquired
"What's with those two"
Zhang Kun look towards the four figures in the center as he opened his mouth and started to explain the situation. Half an hour ago the girl standing blocked the girl on the ground with her two bodyguards with out any words or conversation. And for the next half an hour the girl keep on demanding she reveal the person who is behind Long families current predicament otherwise she won't let her off.
Lin Yun and Lin Xi instinctively turned their heads towards Wang Xing Yue who was equally astonished, as a realization stuck him Wang Xing Yue's eye's widened as he look at Lin Yun exclaiming
"It's her Long Lie'er, Long Wei's daughter who revealed Long family scheme against Wang family"
Saying Wang Xing Yue pointed towards the the girl who was pinned to the ground, Lin Yun's brow furrowed as realization struck her diverting her gaze to the young women with a beautiful and pictures figure who was on the brink of collapse. After plundering for a moment Lin Yun addressed Zhang Kun asking
"Did they lay hand on her"
Zhang Kun recalled for a moment before nodding in affirmation responding
"Once in her abdomen and the security didn't dare intervine because the girl standing opposite her was Shengguan Yun the only daughter of Shengguan family and also the Long family young masters fiancée"
"No wonder she was targeting Long Lie'er, Long family planned to use Shengguan Yun to ascertain the identity of the person behind Long families downfall"
Wang Xing Yue remarked with a hint of uncertainty in his tone, as he was Pondering Lin Xi already walked towards Shengguan Yun and her men with indignation Shengguan Yun as she dragged Lin Yun along, who was messaging Long Qiagquan raised her head upon glimpse of two figures walking towards her with an annoying expression she raised her headas she look at Lin Xi and then at Lin Yun as she be head the Lin Yun's stunning and ethirial figure a hint of Jealousy rise with in her.
With a cold expression she addressed Lin Xi who aas standing in the front enquiring with inpatients, Lin Xi look at Lin Lie'er who was on the ground with a pale face and then at Shengguan Yun as she spoke with a commanding presence. Shengguan Yun was momentarily taken a back before succumbing ti laughter
"Ahhhhhhhhh"
After the a brief pause she wiped tears from the corners of her eye's as she re,asked
"It's my first time in a while talk to me like that, what if don't?"
"I would make you"
Lin Xi spoke her demeanour dismissive with an unwavering stands, Shengguan Yun sat on Long Lie'er's suitcase as she remarked
"Oh, really let's see then"
Lin Xi turned her head slightly meeting Lin Yun as she blinked her eye's calling her name softly
"Sis..."
Lin Yun let out a sigh In resignation before turning away as she took two steps as she stood in front of the two bodyguards, seeing this scene the crowd started to murmue them self
"What is she trying to do?"
"May be she want to use her beauty?"
"Sigh, I didn't expect to witness such a spectacle"
Mean while Wang Xing Yue coming back to his senses can't help but twitch his lips in astonishment, yet he placed his trust in Lin Yun as she didn't act without confidence. Lin Yun unfazed by the crowds spectacle raised her leg as she delivered a swift kick to the guard making him fly several meters before falling to the ground. Before the guard can comprehend what's going on a kick came flying to him sending him roll away before crashing into the pillar not far away.
Shengguan Yun who wore a smug smile moments ago was standing their with her eye's widened with disbelief etched on her face. Lin Xi gave a disdainful smile at her before walking away as she walked to Lin Yun's side as they helped Long Lie'er up. Stomping her foot in frustration Shengguan Yun launched towards Lin Xi with her nails aiming for Lin Xi's face. Caught off guard Lin Xi instinctively covered her face as a shield as she closed her eye's in fear yet the expected pain didn't occur. With a perplexed expression Lin Xi opened her eye's as she saw a towering figure who stood infrot her installing a sense of security with in oneself.
Li Qiang turned around as he enquired: Are you alright
Lin Xi's face flushed as she nodded with a hint or shyness, Li Qiang pushed Shengguan Yun away as he remarked
"How dare your mere Shengguan family try to act arrogantly in front of me"
A shiver coursed through her as she took a step back her completion paled further, as she turned around and retreated without looking back. Lin Yun saw that Lin Xi was alright she diverted her gaze towards the Long Lie'er who was trying to stand up, Lin Yun wrapped her hand around Long Lie'er's waist as she supported her up. Lin Yun made an eye contact with Long Lie'er as she enquired
"Are you feeling pain anywhere do you want me to to take you to infirmary for a check up"
"No, I am fine. Thank you for your help"
Long Lie'er spoke with a gritting teeth, Lin Yun look at her with a strange expression before nodding. Wang Xing Yue walked to Lin Yun's side with a worried look on his face enquiring
"Are you hurt any where, do you want me to call a doctor"
"No need, I was fine let's meet tomorrow and call me once you go back to the dorm"
Lin Yun spoke as she interjected Wang Xing Yue before turning to Lin Xi and Wu Qianqian who already walked over to Lin Xi's side continuing
"Let's go, we still have to unpack our luggage"
Lin Xi nodded as she walked to Lin Yun's side followed by Wu Qianqian, Lin Yun then turned to Long Lie'er asking
"Let me help you find your dorm room"
Long Lie'er nodded as she was well aware that with her current condition she can't even reach first floor not to mention 4th floor.
Lin Xi took Long Lie'er trolley while Lin Yun supported Long Lie'er as they walked into the girls dorm seeing that their was no show to watch the crowd scattered into all directions continuing their daily activities. Meanwhile Lin Yun and other's along with Long Lie'er had already reached 4th floor as they walked forward, Lin Yun scanning the floor enquired for Long Lie'er's room number without looking at her. Only to be stunned upon on hearing Long Lie'er response
"401?"
The three people of room No 401 exchanged bewildered glances as a slight smile appeared on their faces, Lin Xi was the first to spoke
"What a coincidence we are also from 401"
Saying that she stepped forward she opened the door with a creek, The door to the room was pushed open as four of the walked in as Wu Qianqian turned on the lights. Lin Yun helped Long Lie'er to the bed as she spoke
"Just take a rest for now you can arrange your things later"
Saying that Lin Yun turned to the right bunk bed and started to unpack her luggage, Lin Xi followed suit as Wu Qianqian who was already arranged her space sat infront of the desktop as she turned on the computer. Meanwhile Long Lie'er who was sitting at her desk opened her phone as she sent message to her father about the events that transpired.
An hour later, Lin Yun made up her bed before stepping down as she sat on the chair taking a deep breath. Right then her phone rang as she took out her phone from the hand bag on the side and glanced at the screen. Upon seeing it was the group call from Yue Xi, Gong Li and ZiYi, Lin Yun stood up as she walked out to the balcony while answering the call.
Lin Yun: Hello guys.
Yue Xi:Long time no see Lin Yun
Gong Li: why didn't you give us a call when you came to the school.
ZiYi:right, didn't we already discussed that we will meet in the campus on the day of registration.
Lin Yun: Okay, it's my fault brother Li Qiang took us out for a lunch this afternoon and I just came back an hour ago and completed cleaning our room. How about this let's gather to night dinner is on me as an apology.
Yue Xi:you said it don't you dare go back on your words
Gong Li:fine I will forgive you for the sake of food
ZiYi: You little foodie, bring XiXi along it's been a long time since we last saw her.
Yue Xi: yes, YiYi is right it's really been long time
Gong Li: Okay then it's settled, since Lin Yun was new to this area I will pick the place
Lin Yun: okay 👍
Yue Xi:Okay 👍
ZiYi: Okay 👍
10 minutes later, Lin Yun walked back into the room as she hang-up the call, Three of them raise their heads as they look at Lin Yun with curiosity and fondness. With a radiant smile Lin Xi walked to Lin Yun's side as she enquired with a playful smile.
"So, is that brother-in-law"
Lin Yun shot her an exasperated glance before responding
"It's Yue Xi and other's, I forgot to call them this morning and invited them to dinner to night"
"Really me too, can I come along"
Lin Xi asked with stary eye's, Lin Yun tilted her head slightly as she replied
"Sure, but bill is on you "
Lin Xi pouted as she walked back remarking
"Huff, your eye's fell on my meager allowances. I am not going"
Lin Yun chuckled softly as she sat at her desk remarking
"what a pity, I intended to buy a limited edition Patek Philippe for you Tomorrow"
Lin Xi turned to Lin Yun with a pitiful expression with tears in her eye's, Lin Yun shook her head in resignation as she replied
" Fine, I will stop teasing you. Since I told them it's my treat I will be the one paying"
As soon as her words fell a call came through, Lin Yun who just put her phone a side frown slightly before looking at the phone screen. A smile graced her lips as she answered the call
Lin Yun: Hello, what's up.
Wang Xing Yue: nothing just came back, what about you what are you doing?
Lin Yun: I just completed arranging my bed.
Wang Xing Yue:already that fast, by the way are you free in the evening.
Lin Yun thought for a moment before responding
Lin Yun: Hmm, I made plans with Sister Yue Xi and others, did you need something.
Wang Xing Yue: Nothing much, I was planning to make a trip to the apartment and want to take you along.
Lin Yun: you should have called me Few minutes ago
Wang Xing Yue: it's okay, I will take you their next time.
5 minutes later, Lin Yun hang-up the call as she set it a side.turning around she saw Lin Xi Wu Qianqian and Long Lie'er looking at her. Lin Yun didn't respond but stood up and walked away. Time passed quickly and it was already evening the washroom door opened as Lin Yun walked out of the restroom in a black tee shirt and black jeans paired with white coat. Seeing her come out Lin Xi who was applying make up in front of the mirror turned to the side saying
"You had a call"
"Who is that"
Lin Yun enquired as she look at her reflection in the mirror, Lin Xi didn't turn but replied with resentment
"It's dad, he didn't even called me after my departure"
Lin Yun didn't pay any mind to Lin Xi's complaints but reached out to her phone as she pressed on call button, it rang for a few seconds as the call was answered as Lin Yi's indulgence voice came through.
"Xiao Yun, are you adjusting well at university dorm"
"Yes, father it was quiet lively here"
Lin Yun replied as she walk to the balcony gazing into the gradually changing sky, Lin Yi who was sitting in the Sheng Zi palace villa as he took a sip of tea as he continued
"I was hoping if you have a time for a chat tonight"
Lin Yun frowed as she enquired
"Dad, where are you exactly"
Lin Yi eye's widened for a brief moment before regaining his composure as he replied
"At your place"
"Understood, I will wrap up early"
Lin Yun spoke as she smiled warmly, after having a light talk Lin Yun hang-up the call as she walked in to the dorm room from the balcony. Lin Xi was already sitting at her desk as she was discussing about cosmetics and the brands they were interested in, upon seeing Lin Yun walking in all three of them look at her sensing the gazes Lin Yun raised her head only to meet three curious gazes. Shooking her head Lin Yun addressed Lin Xi
"Let's go, Yue Xi and other's are already waiting downstairs"
Lin Xi stood up as she assessed her reflection in the mirror with a satisfied smile Lin Xi turned around as she responded
"I am done"
Lin Yun nodded in approval as she look at her other two room mates asking
"Do you guy's want me to brink something to eat"
Wu Qianqian and Long Lie'er exchanged glances before looking at Lin Yun, Wu Qianqian was the one to broke the silence as she spoke
"I heard their was a BBQ spot at the west gate that had a nest BBQ, if possible please get me a beef"
"No problem, what about you"
Long Lie'er shook her head before responding
"I was good, I am planing to go out anyway"
"Okay"
Lin Yun nodded in understanding, gathering their belongings Lin Yun and Lin Xi walked out of the girls dorm as many students still engaged in conversation while some are stepping out while others are just come back to dorm. Lin Yun spotted a crowd gathering g not far away as three graceful figures standing in front of the three luxurious cars with distinct colors. Their are non other than Yue Xi and other's, with a smile Lin Yun walked in their direction with Lin Xi following closely. Yue Xi who was also looking for Lin Yun and other's spotted Lin Yun and Lin Xi walking in their way straightened her poster as she called out to Lin Yun.
"Lin Yun here"
Lin Yun and Lin Xi waved back at Yue Xi and other's, upon seeing them walk over the crowd made way to them creating a rather unique space for them to pass. Lin Yun walked to Yue Xi's side as she greeted all of them
"It's been a while Yue Jie, Li jie and Yi Jie"
"Hmm, let's go I already find a place for us to eat"
Gong Li responded as she opened the car door eager to set off, Yue Xi and other's can't help but shook their heads in amusement as Lin Yue and Yue Xi took Lin Xi's car while Lin Xi and Gong Li hopped into Gong Li's car followed by ZiYi in her car. As they made their way towards the west gate to enjoy the best BBQ near the Magic city university.
