Adrian rose up from his chair exiting his office, his long legs making large strides leaving the two women shocked.
"Adrian!" Lilah ran after him but Elena wondered what made him leave like that. She went towards his desk and looked at the laptop and there it was, a message from...uh? Yile's High School?
Why would - oh!, his younger sister, that was true, she always caused trouble at school
[Sorry to disturb you, Mr. Chairman but we need your presence here concerning Lucy before she causes more trouble] That was what the message said.
Why would they message Adrian directly instead of his personal assistant or... something. She went out of the office, everybody were busy running here and there, what's happening?
"Miss White?" She turned to the man dressed in a black suit and an inner white shirt
"Let me escort you back to your building" She furrowed her brows "Never mind, I can leave myself"
The man didn't say anything else but stand behind her 'This should be Sean' she thought
"What's happening?, why is everyone so busy?"
"We are creating a new design for our company's new laptop" Elena was a little confused, ah! that px-6? It was mentioned in the story.
"Liam's group stole yours right?"
"Yes ma'am" He answered her "Would you like to go back to the building?"
Without replying, Elena walked forward herself, although she knew he was following her.
When she stepped out of the building, she found Lilah staring at the road blankly
"Lilah?"
She turned to her, "Oh! Elena"
"Where is Adrian?"
"Uh? Adrian?..He left alone already" Elena nodded her head before making her way to the next building across the street with that man whose name she had forgotten tailing behind her.
"Be careful, Miss"
She entered her building and everyone bowed respectfully to her
"Miss White?, do you want me to place back your schedule as from an hour's time?" Megan asked as she walked with Elena, they both entered into the elevator
Instead of answering her, she asked another question "What is the status of Black Empire to Liam's group?"
Megan looked at her boss surprised for a split second before placing back her normal expression "As at now, it-"
"Never mind!" Elena interrupted her raising her hand, she took a deep breath. "What's up with the R&D product?"
"It has been settled, well, Mrs. Caldwell is asking for an audience again. Should I set it up as your lunch?"
At that time, the elevator tinged and they both stepped out of it. Elena turned to her
"I am not accepting her investment, I don't need to waste my time lunching with her, Megan"
"Okay ma'am"
Elena walked forward into her office, she pulled open the door and made her way to her chair "Bring me a list of designs for laptops"
"Huh?" Elena looked up at her "A list of designs, Megan, you heard me right"
"Oh right! Yes ma'am" She ran out of her boss office
