Elena was on her way to her office but stopped in her tracks when she heard the gossips of her employees
"Now, would the Black Empire take Lady Lilah as their daughter in-law?"
"Guess so, Miss White is breaking off their engagement"
"But isn't it weird? She had always wanted to get married into the Black Family"
"Now that I think of it, she is a bit weird"
Megan who was following Elena behind her had wanted to go stop them from talking but Elena held back her hand, she sighed
Taking her hand to massage her temples, "What the hell have I been doing?" She asked herself
'What am I here for?, To stop Adrian's death...so...if I am here to help him then why say to break off the engagement?' she sighed again
"Any problems, ma'am?" Megan asked when she noticed her boss sighing first thing in the morning
Elena turned back "Cancel all my schedules today!"
"Huh?"
' I've wasted enough of my time, Oh Elena! What really have you been doing?'

His long legs walked smartly leaving those around him with chills all over their body as he entered the room with his usual cold face.
He stopped for a second scanning the faces of the board directors before making his way to his seat
President Willson stepped forward looking everywhere but that killing cold eyes, he fixed his glasses properly and cleared his throat
"Liam's group shifted their launching date same as ours which is in two days and we found out that the designs of the px-6 are the same"
Adrian leaned back to his chair "That brat sure won't learn" He muttered
"So, President..Willson, what do you suggest we do?" Those chilling voice rang into the president's ear causing his hands to tremble a bit, he hasn't thought of a solution, he just found out about the leak of their designs this morning
"Seems like President Willson has zero solution to this problem, I wonder why you are in that position" His head turned to the vice president "Any solutions?"
"I suggest we change our design"
"Sorry to interrupt, but we only have two days, how do we change the designs?" The Executive manager countered making the entire room go silent
"How about postponing the launching date?"
"What?, Postpone? then the sales of Black Empire would surely fall when the Liam's group launches theirs"
Adrian slammed his hands on the table "Head of design team?"
"Yes sir!"
"I hope you know the fault of all these is coming from your incompetence"
The man bowed his head "..A-apologies sir"
"Any ideas on how the design leaked?"
"I..I believe there was a spy sir"
Adrian nodded his head "Spy?"
"Yes, Mr. Chairman"
"The design team would create an entirely new design before the launching date, I don't care how you would do that, just bring me a sample in two days before we launch it out. Not only are you changing the designs..but the features" With that the cold brown eyed CEO dismissed the board meeting
"Sir, you have a guest waiting in your office" Sean, Adrian's secretary reported to him
He sighed, the only person that comes unannounced has finally came back home
