Even with his speed he still couldn't escape fast enough, his back was burnt through to the bone.
He lost his left leg on the process as well but he managed to protect Siri. When he was certain they were at a safe distance he fainted.
The laws on that explosion raged inside his body trying to destroy him. Siri grabbed his unconscious body tightly.
She didn't have any healing abilities and all of her beasts were dead but she managed to use her own laws to control the raging laws inside him.
She watched the centre of that explosion with tearful eyes. " Ndu." She whispered softly.
But the kind smile of a giant she was used to wasn't there anymore. Siri could've hold back her tears.
