Chapter 21 - INTER-CONNECTION

Forty-six generations.

The words echoed in his head like distant thunder. He tried to calculate it silently. Even at the smallest estimate, that meant more than a thousand years had passed since the time of the Seer.

His chest tightened.

That thought led him to something else — something far more personal.

Something far more terrifying.

He looked directly at the Monarch, his voice steady but filled with urgency.

"What… was my father?"

The room fell silent.

Renji's fists clenched.

"Who am I?" he asked again, louder now."And where do I really belong?"

His breathing grew heavier.

"You call my world Green Crynthos… why?" he demanded."What is the connection between this world… and mine?"

Anger rose inside him — fast and uncontrollable.

Not fear.

Not confusion.

Fury.

Ash stepped forward immediately.

"Calm down," he said firmly, placing a steady hand on Renji's shoulder.

Renji tried to pull away, but Ash held him steady.

"Patience," Ash said."Patience will give you answers faster than rage."

Renji exhaled sharply, still shaking.

Ash looked toward the Monarch, then spoke again, his tone thoughtful now.

"Honestly…" he muttered, "I'm learning all of this today myself."

He folded his arms.

"I knew how the clans were formed," Ash admitted."But the truth about the Seer's brother… the sealing… the forbidden teachings… that part is new even to me."

He glanced toward Renji.

"And about your father…" Ash continued slowly, thinking aloud."I can only guess."

He paused.

"There are only a few people alive who could have lived long enough to know such things."

Ash's eyes sharpened.

"I think I may have an idea… but I need more details from the Monarch to confirm it."

A faint smirk appeared on his face.

"And surprisingly… the Monarch is actually talking today."

"So let's hear the rest."

The Monarch did not react to the comment.

But Renji did.

For a brief moment, his eyes shifted toward the Old Man.

Something about him felt strange.

Too quiet.

Too still.

Too knowing.

Renji noticed the Old Man's expression — calm, but not surprised.

Almost as if…

He already knew all of this.

Renji felt a chill run through him.

The Monarch noticed the glance instantly.

His sharp eyes moved toward the Old Man, then back to Renji.

He saw it.

The suspicion.

The curiosity.

But Renji said nothing.

He kept that thought buried.

For now.

Something inside him had changed.

He was learning to survive in this world.

Learning to listen before speaking.

Learning to watch before trusting.

He was adapting.

Slowly… but surely.

The Monarch stepped forward once again.

His voice returned to its steady, controlled tone.

"After the Seer's passing… Basaltos, Oculon, and Skayr understood something."

"They knew that someday… greater powers would rise."

"Powers driven by greed."

"Powers that would seek the scrolls… not for balance… but for domination."

"So they trained."

"Relentlessly."

"Without rest."

"Without mercy."

"They mastered their abilities before others could even understand the danger."

"Oculon traveled across the DIMENSIONS… just like the Seer once did."

All 6 Dimensions are interconnected by divine energy which used to travel between them.

"He studied movement between worlds."

"He studied gateways."

"He studied divine law."

Renji listened carefully now.

"And eventually," the Monarch continued, "Oculon made a pact."

"A pact with the Warrior's Mirage… using the scrolls themselves."

"A restriction."

"A protection."

"If an impure soul attempts to use a Golden Scroll… they will not enter Warrior's Mirage."

"They will not gain honor."

"They will not be remembered."

"They will be erased."

Renji swallowed.

"So people would fear using them," he muttered.

The Monarch nodded.

"Exactly."

"It prevented reckless pursuit of Golden Scroll power."

"And it worked."

Silence lingered briefly.

Then the Monarch continued.

"Oculon did something else."

Something heavier.

Something far more serious.

"He traveled to Green Crynthos."

Renji froze.

That was his world.

"Oculon sealed the paths," the Monarch said quietly.

"He blocked all travel in and out of Green Crynthos."

"No one could enter."

"No one could leave."

"Not by magic."

"Not by curse."

"Not by force."

Ash frowned.

"Why?" he asked.

The Monarch's voice lowered.

"Because the people of Green Crynthos carried a dangerous trait."

"A hunger."

"A greed stronger than reason."

"They desired power… above all else."

"So the Three Gods made a decision."

"They sealed power away from them."

"They denied them curses."

"They denied them truth."

"They denied them access to the realms."

"But before the sealing…When seer went to collect the curses in green crynthos there was one man."

"One man who discovered the truth of curses."

"One man who collected them."

"One man who used them."

Ash leaned forward slightly.

"What did he do?" he asked.

The Monarch's gaze hardened.

"He attempted to destroy an entire civilization."

Renji froze.

"Seventeen million people lived in that region," the Monarch continued.

"And nearly six million were slaughtered."

"The Seer made a decision."

"A necessary one."

"He chose to eliminate that man."

"In the land known as…"

"The Land of Endless Winter."

The Monarch paused briefly.

"Some called him… the man with the toothbrush moustache."

And at that moment—

A realization began forming in Renji's mind.

Something terrible.

Something that connected history…

to his world.

His lips moved slightly.

Barely a whisper.

"The Führer…"
