Chapter 185 - What Happened to Enfel Kito?

"KGHGH!!"

Enfel Kito was facing dozens of sixth-level warriors in addition to a seventh-level noble. He would be in big trouble if it weren't for Solan Neumann, who unleashed her spirits without stopping.

The noble said,

"A second-rank noble family like the Kito Family being a follower of a third-rank noble like Shion is a shame on us."

Enfel was just a child who had been under the control of Roto Night. He had seen the horror at that time, but seeing a clown like that nobleman made him smile unconsciously.

"Why are you smiling?"

The noble wasn't careless, but Enfel said,

"At first, you tried to communicate with us to join your nonsense organization. But when you saw our downfall, you didn't even try to hide your greed."

Enfel unleashed his aura, forcing the warriors away from him.

"My lord Lan is the one who saved me and my family without asking for anything in return. And now...."

The aura around Enfel became corrupted. His body became distorted, making him taller and stronger, but his usual appearance didn't change much.

Enfel clenched his fist and said in a mature tone,

"I won't let any of you touch my lord!"

The noble, who hadn't witnessed the accident in the Kito Family's province, saw the power of Roto Night's puppet before him.

"That.... That's impossible!!! You must be healed! There shouldn't be any source of corruption!!"

Enfel didn't care and moved with incredible speed, trying to punch him with his corrupted power. The noble retreated, creating some distance from Enfel.

When he saw the corruption in Enfel's hand, he couldn't believe it.

Enfel said,

"Surprised? Lord Lan destroyed my body in order to save me, but the physician saw how badly damaged my body was, so he tried to restore the magic circles of corruption."

The corrupted aura surrounded him as he continued,

"The accident was serious, so he didn't dare tell anyone about his actions, so no one knew about it. But I discovered it and trained to make sure I could serve him."

Enfel unleashed his domain against the noble, who defended himself with a Simple Domain as well. However, the corruption destroyed the domain, putting the noble in a serious situation.

Enfel was like raw corruption energy without any proper techniques, but he remembered his fight against Polter before and tried to fight in the same way again.

"Someone cute like you won't be able to face someone who survived hell."

The Moon's Sorceress Lily was facing two nobles, but she was relaxed. She didn't use the (Blue Moon) or the (Crimson Moon), but the two new techniques of the art: (Yellow Moon) and (Green Moon).

"Kin, the Yellow Moon is concerned with earth, while the Green Moon is concerned with wind."

She activated her Simple Domain to face the other noble, giving her enough space to explain the two new techniques.

"I'll explain it generally because I'm a mage and you're a swordsman. But you can learn the magic later."

A noble tried to attack her, but the earth turned yellow, and the noble lost his footing as the gravity became weaker.

Lily said,

"Yellow Moon can affect the ground and its gravity. You can't use it perfectly at your current level, but you can use it on your sword instead. You'll feel your sword become lighter and faster."

The other noble tried to advance, but Lily used the other spell, (Green Moon).

The air inside the domain became thinner, and neither noble could breathe properly. However, they saw a green orb of spinning wind that was attracting the surrounding air into Lily's small space.

"The Green Moon. Kin, you must know that there's no air on the moon, and the founder of the art discovered that."

The noble felt choked as the air escaped from his lungs, but the other noble adapted to the gravity and unleashed his full power, attacking Lily.

"You know, Kin? You can reverse some spells and techniques like this."

The low gravity turned into high gravity, pinning the noble to the ground and making him unable to move.

Lily noticed that her time was running out, so she finished the lesson for her little disciple, who was watching with concern and amazement.

"You can combine them to make a move that is supposed to be an advanced one, but it's difficult to perform: (Moon Fall)."

Lily intertwined her fingers, combining the gravity of the moon with the Green Moon and creating immense pressure that fell upon the two nobles.

"(Moon Fall)."

Although Lily said it wasn't like the original, everyone saw something huge falling from the skies.

Kin felt dread, but his heritage awakened, allowing him to see everything from another point of view.

"I felt as if the moon was falling, but it was just a mass of compressed wind."

But the others didn't see it that way, and the two nobles felt crushed against the ground.

Lily disappeared, saying,

"You can reach the fifth level easily after learning these techniques."

"I will!!"

Lily said,

"Leaving your father to fight alone? You're disobedient! Help your father, little Kin!"

"Wha—?!"

He couldn't even complain before his guardian spirit disappeared.

"..."

Kin couldn't do anything but help his father.

He left the place and headed toward his father, but he was shocked.

"What the....?"

His father, Ficon Light, was wearing golden armor with gems that provided him with the light element.

Ficon's opponent was on the ground, unconscious, but there was something strange.

The marks were from punches, not slashes, and blood dripped from his father's fists.

"Father?"

Ficon looked at his son with disappointment.

"You left your father and went with a woman?"

"Eh?"

"You were with Lily instead of being with your father in a battle."

"Father! It's not like that!!"

"Now my son is raising his voice at me. I will cry."

Ficon was about to leave, but Kin asked him,

"Aren't you a swordsman?"

"..."

Ficon felt as if he had been caught after trying to escape that question.

Ficon looked at his son and said,

"If you tell your mother, I will kill you."

"What?!"

Kin found himself in another story, but his father said,

"I was a warrior who used punches and kicks, but I met your mother at a party. She told me she hated barbarians and that I used my body as a weapon, so...."

Ficon raised his sword.

"I learned swordsmanship."

"..."

Kin asked after that,

"So... what made you use your fists again?"

Ficon clenched his fist and said,

"A new guild called the Ocean's Core Guild. They knew about the history I had buried, so I worked with them. But the offer wasn't bad, as we would get out from under the Noble Alliance's control and no longer be under suspension."

Kin widened his eyes and felt a sense of freedom, as he had been worried about the royal investigations and the reputation of the Light Family.

But he asked,

"Why do they help us?"

Ficon said,

"We don't have to know, but I think they're interested in your friend, Shion Lan."

Kin was surprised.

"Shion?! How do you know about that?!"

"They were asking me about your visits to Lady Lan, and they told me to help him if he came."

Kin thought,

'I think I'll ask Shion later.'

Solan Neumann was controlling the battlefield, but she heard the conversation between Kin and Ficon through her spirits.

"Pearl.... Jewel! So that's the help you were talking about! But what was he talking about when he said they were interested in Shion?!!!"

Solan was thinking about how to kill Pearl, but Polter came to her with Bloom after finishing off the two nobles.

"Milady!"

They bowed before Solan, who was surprised.

"You finished that quickly?!"

Polter asked,

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, you were having a difficult time fighting before, but now...."

Solan made her deduction.

"I think it's because I reached the fifth level!"

Bloom shook her head.

"The real reason is that our previous battles were against tough and powerful people, unlike these nobles."

Solan said,

"It's not the best time to discuss this. Let's help Shion—"

Polter interrupted,

"I'm sorry to interrupt you, but we mustn't help our lord right now."

Solan didn't say anything, waiting for Polter to explain himself, or she wouldn't forgive him.

Polter said,

"You have already contributed to the battle. You summoned me and Bloom to face two nobles, awakened the Moon's Sorceress Lily, who finished off another two nobles, opened the Spirit World, and summoned a lot of spirits to stand against the sixth-level warriors and those below them."

Solan said,

"So what? I'll do everything for Shion."

Polter said,

"That's the problem."

Solan looked at Polter, who continued,

"The noble families must know that my lord is able to face them, but they won't do that if they think of you as the main weapon. Then they will belittle him."

Solan thought about it and found it reasonable, but she said,

"But he is able to face everything!"

Bloom joined them, saying,

"You can watch him from afar, and if something happens, you can rescue him."

Solan's eyes widened, and she smiled.

"Good idea!!"

She was about to leave, but she asked Polter,

"Oh, why did you say 'my lord' and 'our lord' when referring to Shion?"

Polter answered without hesitation,

"He is my future lady's husband, so I have to call him properly!"

Solan's face turned red, but she left quickly.

Polter and Bloom,

"..."

Shion was clashing with the last three nobles, but he wasn't at his best, as exhaustion had appeared in his eyes, and the nobles weren't any better than him.

The Sword of the Sins glowed faintly, and Shion knew that he was losing his strength against the three nobles.

Rev Stroman said,

"Your Sword won't help you for much longer. I have to admit, you put us under pressure."

Another noble said,

"I haven't stretched my muscles in years. I have to thank you for making me feel young again."

The noble who wanted the sword said,

"If you give me the sword, I'll consider leaving you in one piece."

Shion wasn't in the mood to talk with them. The three of them had been breathing heavily moments ago, but now they were acting as if they had already won.

Shion closed his eyes and asked Shi Yun Lan,

"How can I defeat them?"

Shi Yun Lan didn't answer and made the sword spirit answer him instead.

"I have a method, my lord. I can unleash one of the imprisoned spirits in the sword, but...."

Shion asked,

"But what?"

The spirit said,

"I will draw energy from your Stellar Spirit, and because of your low level, you will only be able to fight for three minutes."

Shion thought,

'The Stellar Spirit is the reason I can harmonize my techniques properly. If I lose it....'

Shi Yun Lan interrupted his thoughts,

"Don't worry. You will regain your power before the academic year begins."

The spirit said in a worried tone,

"There's another problem...."

Shion stood up again to face the three nobles and asked,

"Will I die?"

The spirit said,

"No, but—"

"Do it!"

Shion couldn't continue the conversation as Rev and the other nobles targeted him, but Shion saw Solan and Ficon approaching him from afar.

He didn't see Enfel.

'What happened to Enfel? Did he....'

Shion felt anxious, but rage filled his heart, and the remnants of the furious spirits in the Sword of the Sins surrounded him in an intense aura, making everyone step back.

"Shion?"

Solan wasn't able to understand. The malicious aura of the sword filled Shion, but there was no expression on his face.

"..."

Shi Yun Lan ordered,

"Shion! Use your Stellar Aura to regain your consciousness!"

"..."

Shion didn't respond, but he said,

"Solan, save Enfel."

Solan wanted to approach Shion, but he gave her a warm smile.

"Solan, I will be fine."

Shion used his aura inside the furious aura. He was like a silver torch in a malicious space.

Solan nodded and went away.

Shion said,

"The three of you, pray for the safety of Enfel Kito, or...."

Although he used his aura, the rage had entered his heart.

"I will kill you all."
