"TRN414!"
"Is this the universe code for the X-Men world Satan traveled to?"
Soon, Playboy's attention was completely captivated by this code.
Earlier, Tony had asked Charles for the universe's code, hoping to learn more about it and conduct further analysis.
But unfortunately, at the time, Charles didn't believe in the Multiverse's existence, let alone know his own universe's designation.
Playboy had naturally gained no useful intelligence.
Fortunately, now Satan had provided the answer.
And this code itself offered some clues.
After all, the Diary had previously mentioned numerous Marvel-based parallel universes, many of which started with the abbreviation "TRN."
For example:
* **TRN666 Universe:** A character named Cable used Pym Particles to shrink the Planet Eater.
* **TRN877 Universe:** The universe of T'Challa, the Star-Lord.
* **TRN889 Universe:** The universe where Dark Wanda destroyed the entire cosmos.
* **TRN893 Universe:** The universe where a quantum virus unleashed a zombie apocalypse.
So, yes, the TRN-series universes were indeed Marvel-based parallel universes.
Moreover, according to the diary's spoilers, the previous TRN-series universes were all branch universes that were newly born after the death of the residual entity Kang.
So, was the X-Men Universe that Satan is currently traveling to also created in this way?
Tony immediately reached the same conclusion.
"The Avengers?"
Charles, who was reading another diary, once again wore a bewildered expression.
He had no objection to Erik being a major villain that required the entire team to defeat. In fact, he would wholeheartedly support such an idea.
But when had Erik ever clashed with the Avengers?
Judging by the diary's tone, the Avengers were clearly also an organization composed of Mutants!
Moreover, they seemed to be quite formidable, at least on par with the X-Men he had once assembled.
Yet he had never heard of such an organization before.
Nor had he ever heard of its members like Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor.
So, what kind of organization was this?
And what about the codename TRN414? Was this the universe designation the Destroyer had mentioned earlier?
Charles almost burst out laughing.
*Numbering the universes?*
*What a waste of time!*
*This is utterly pointless, as if the Multiverse were so vast that we couldn't distinguish between universes without numbering them.*
Charles was startled.
It seemed that Zhou Cheng, the owner of this diary, truly claimed to be from another universe!
That guy must have been driven a little crazy by his mental abilities!
As for the Fifth-Tier Phoenix, she's undoubtedly a bug-tier existence.
She's essentially the Wanda Maximoff of the Avengers.
The Phoenix Force is no less formidable than Wanda's Chaos Magic—a terrifying power capable of destroying worlds.
Even Professor X fears that power and can only restrict her use through Mental Barriers.
During the battle against Apocalypse, she instantly killed him just by partially awakening her powers.
And before that? The combined might of the X-Men—Professor X, Cyclops, Quicksilver, Beast, Mystique—were all beaten like dogs by Apocalypse!
But the moment Phoenix erupted, the tide of battle instantly turned!
In that state, perhaps only Dark Wanda could stand against her, right?
"Just as I suspected!"
"There's a Fifth-Tier above Fourth-Tier!"
The Playboy's expression lit up—his earlier speculation had been correct.
Though both Fourth-Tier Mutants, Professor X and Magneto, were already incredibly powerful.
Especially Professor X, who, with the right equipment, could kill everyone on Earth.
But frankly, they still fell short of the truly top-tier Avengers.
After all, the top-tier Avengers could destroy universes and operate on a multiversal scale.
And what was the Diary's tone?
The X-Men were in no way inferior to the Avengers!
Therefore, there must be individuals within the X-Men who truly stood at the apex of the pyramid.
The facts proved this to be true.
Fourth-Tier was indeed not the highest level within the X-Men; above that lay Fifth-Tier.
Phoenix!
The Diary explicitly mentioned her as a Fifth-Tier Mutant.
Tony's attention was immediately captured by this moniker, and he began to analyze it.
First was the meaning of the nickname itself.
In American culture, the phoenix is a mythical bird, a fusion of the Assyrian immortal bird and the Egyptian Sunbird, symbolizing immortality.
Even without considering Phoenix's abilities, the nickname alone revealed her true caliber.
The Diary even used the word "bug" to describe her, directly comparing her to Wanda.
The Playboy now had a clear understanding of Phoenix's true power level.
"Phoenix Force!"
Tony's gaze sharpened once more.
*This must be the source of the Phoenix's power,* he thought. *No wonder she's called the Phoenix.*
Though the Playboy had never heard of the Phoenix Force before, how could a power named after the Phoenix be weak?
The Diary had even stamped it as being on par with Chaos Magic!
*Enough to destroy the world!*
*Looks like the Diary was right. These X-Men are truly on par with the Avengers.*
*They even have someone of this caliber.*
"Phoenix?"
"Who's that now?"
Charles, facing another Diary, looked utterly bewildered.
The Diary was practically singing her praises, describing her as far more formidable than both him and Erik.
*Like a nuclear bomb.*
Yet how could such a powerful Mutant have remained unknown to him?
Of course, she hadn't been noticed yet. The Jean in the Diary was still just an ordinary little girl, completely overlooked by Charles.
When Magneto flipped the football stadium, the girl had been trembling in fear while watching the "Great Demon King" Magneto unleash his power in the sky!
Then there was Apocalypse.
Another Mutant Charles had never heard of.
Even so, Charles could glean a wealth of information from the name alone. After all, this was a being named after the "Apocalypse" described in the Bible!
What did "Apocalypse" mean?
Catastrophe, the end of the world!
So, was this Apocalypse a being who would bring about an apocalypse on humanity, just like the biblical one?
A single word vividly conveyed both Apocalypse's overwhelming power and his nature—whether good or evil.
Could this be why the X-Men had erupted into war with Apocalypse?
Even with so many X-Men united, they had been beaten to a pulp by this Apocalypse.
It seemed his suspicions were correct: Apocalypse was truly terrifyingly powerful!
And yet, this immensely powerful Apocalypse had been instantly killed by Phoenix, who had only partially awakened her powers!
Good heavens, wasn't Phoenix a bit too overpowered?
There was just one thing.
Both Apocalypse and Phoenix seemed to transcend the very definition of "Mutant."
Could Mutants truly reach such levels of power?
Was everything described in this mysterious Diary actually true?
At that moment, Charles couldn't be sure.
"Quicksilver!"
The bald egg in front of the third diary notebook immediately noticed this name.
If he remembered correctly, wasn't Quicksilver the Scarlet Witch's brother?
The diary also clearly stated that Quicksilver was a member of the X-Men.
And the X-Men were a group composed of Mutants.
So, in this universe, was Quicksilver a Mutant?
If so, did this Mutant Quicksilver still have his sister Wanda?
And if he did, what would Wanda's identity be?
An Avenger, or an X-Man?
This was a very interesting topic.
After all, the bald egg had just learned that in the main universe, both the X-Men and the Avengers existed simultaneously!
So, it was entirely possible that this was also the case in another Marvel-related parallel universe.
The Battle of Alcatraz: Phoenix went berserk after being corrupted, annihilating everything around her into ashes.
It was completely on par with Thanos's snap.
Whether Mutants or ordinary humans, they were powerless against that force and could only flee in disarray.
Even Magneto was terrified, crying out, "What have I done?"
If Wolverine hadn't endured the pain to kill Phoenix, the consequences would have been unimaginable.
The most powerful Mutant has been taken down. Truly a tragic end.
This short spoiler only further emphasized Phoenix's immense power.
Even Tony couldn't help but marvel at it in his mind.
*Power comparable to Thanos's snap!*
It was the first time the Playboy had heard Zhou Cheng use Thanos's snap as a point of comparison.
After all, Thanos's snap was a terrifying force capable of wiping out half the life in the universe.
Though merely a reference, it made Phoenix's power all the more evident.
And Phoenix's performance confirmed it.
*Turning everything around her to dust—that's truly astonishing!*
*Who could possibly resist such a terrifying force?*
*All of humanity's weapons would be as powerless as paper tigers.*
*Even for superheroes, it would be the same. They couldn't even get close to Phoenix without being reduced to ash.*
*Unless some of the top-tier superheroes possessed extremely special abilities, they might stand a chance.*
*Strong.*
*As expected of a Fifth-Tier Mutant. Truly formidable.*
*But... is Wolverine really that strong too?*
*She actually killed a Fifth-Tier Phoenix?*
*What Tier is this guy?*
*Well, the diary didn't mention it. Could he be a Fourth or Fifth-Tier Super Mutant too?*
Tony couldn't draw any firm conclusions, but his attitude toward Wolverine unconsciously shifted, becoming more cautious and respectful.
"Alcatraz?"
"What is this place?"
"What has Erik done now?"
Charles, poring over another diary, was once again covered in question marks.
The tone of the diary made it clear that Erik's actions on Alcatraz had triggered Phoenix's dark transformation.
It was highly likely that Erik was solely responsible for Phoenix's corruption.
Yet the power that erupted after her transformation had clearly exceeded Erik's expectations and control.
That must be why he cried out, "What have I done?"
*Indeed, Erik, what have you done?*
The same question flashed through Charles's mind.
He racked his brain but couldn't recall Erik ever causing such a massive disturbance on Alcatraz.
So how did Zhou Cheng know about this?
Judging by the tone of the other party, if what they were saying was true, they knew far more than Charles did.
*Who exactly is this person?*
It's a real shame. After the Battle of Alcatraz, everyone thought the Mutants' situation would improve.
Beast Hank had long since resigned as head of the Department of Mutant Affairs, but he still gave a joint speech with the President.
But who could have imagined it would never happen! The human government never stopped the secret development of Sentinel Robots.
After fifty years of research, the Sentinel Robots of that era were no longer easy to deal with.
Even Magneto was powerless.
Almost every Mutant was nearly wiped out!
If Phoenix had been around, none of this would have happened.
Even the Sentinel Robots of fifty years later would have been no match for her.
"Department of Mutant Affairs?"
"Hank?"
Charles couldn't help but shake his head.
*When did the human government ever establish a Department of Mutant Affairs?*
*Even if Erik's arrest and the outbreak of war shifted public attention, slightly improving the Mutants' situation, it was far from enough to warrant the creation of a government department.*
*As for Hank serving as its head, that was even more absurd.*
Hank was a quiet person who preferred scientific research.
How could he have become a politician?
"Sentinel Robot."
This phrase caught Charles's attention again.
The diary had mentioned it once more.
Could it be that the human government was really secretly developing this mutant-slaughtering weapon?
Was that why Zhou Cheng had contacted him, trying to warn him about all this?
Because in fifty years, this Sentinel Robot would nearly wipe out the mutants?
Wait a minute!
Charles froze, his mind racing. *Fifty years from now?*
Was Zhou Cheng telling him about events fifty years in the future?
How could he know about such a distant future?
Could it be that he wasn't just a mental-type mutant, but also someone who could see the future?
Moreover—
Suddenly, Charles realized something.
The events described in the diary might not be about the past at all.
They could be about the future!
That would explain why he'd never heard of them before.
Charles had been stuck in a mental rut, and the diary's tone lacked clear temporal markers, so he'd subconsciously assumed it was describing the past.
But now that he thought about it, the diary could be describing the future!
The only question remained: could anyone truly predict the future?
