Xiao Yi, who had been listening silently, finally narrowed his eyes.
Something was wrong. He looked at Yuze, who had gone from being a complete stranger to becoming the most pitiful cub in the room within the time it took to drink a cup of milk.
He had arrived out of nowhere. He had somehow convinced Uncle An Mo to bring him home. And now, in less than half an hour, all his siblings were practically ready to offer him their entire food supply.
Xiao Yi stared at the little mermaid.
Why did he feel that this fellow was a little too good at talking?
Every time someone asked him a question, he answered with another tragic detail. Every time the cubs looked as though they might stop feeling sorry for him, his eyes became watery again.
Was this really a poor, unfortunate cub?
Or was he a little fox in disguise?
Xiao Yi glanced at the tiny tail soaking in the water.
No, he wasn't a fox.
He was a fish.
A very suspicious fish!
