Whitebeard told me all about the war while the rest of his crew and affiliated crews celebrated the victory. It wasn't exactly a curb stomp but it was pretty damned close. Some people died on his side but most survived with serious injuries thanks to the potions I'd provided. The war had burned through all of them though so he'd be needing to restock on them for more day to day treatments. The plan to lure away Kizaru also worked a treat as Whitebeard had one of his affiliated crews snatch a pair of celestial dragons from Sabaody the moment the war started.-
They almost got in serious trouble keeping the light logia admiral at bay for so long but once the feed was cut and the situation impossible to reverse they dumped the pieces of human scum overboard before fleeing. As an admiral Kizaru was forced to focus on rescuing the celestial dragons and could only loudly complain as the kidnapping crew got away. Whitebeard didn't say how the rest of the world must have been reacting but I could roughly guess it was chaos.-
The marines and world government tried very hard to paint themselves as the "righteous" side of things and the ones who truly believed in "justice". This little war was supposed to be an end for Whitebeard and through that a showcase of the marines and by extension world governments power. A move designed to put the fear of god into anyone who would defy the rules they set up. All they accomplished however was taking a MASSIVE hit to their credibility and reputation by losing, badly at that. No one important on Whitebeards side had even been gravely injured much less killed. The five elders who were probably the masterminds behind it all were definitely pissed.-
I raised a glass of pumpkin juice in celebration with the old man before the contact was over. I had to admit that this outcome had my spirit soaring for several days after the fact. A fact that literally everyone noticed. Mike and Terry pestered me to try and needle the reason out of me but I kept quiet about it. Dumbledore however looked deeply thoughtful as he clearly put the pieces together. I didn't doubt that he had been looking for any wars or just grand scaled battles but found not even a whisper of them in the world.-
Time moved into December while I was in a grand mood that made all of my magic more alive and cheerful. It was not uncommon to find students playing in the snow outside the castle after class or curled up with mugs of hot chocolate in the common rooms. The break was coming up and many were looking forward to spending christmas with their families at home. This had me slightly melancholic from remembering my past life around this time. Never could afford a tree or any expensive presents but the time was always a bit cozier than normal.-
Towards the end of the second week of the month my chance to make contact with a new potential customer came and I was eager to see who I got. I naturally squirrelled away to the ROR for this as I never quite knew what to expect.

'That's .... an interesting one.' I thought with a conflicted expression.
Remnant was a strange world in my opinion. The people were a mix of futuristic and spiritual at the same time. The world at one point had gods in it, twins in fact. One of light and creation, the other of darkness and destruction. Together they embodied balance in the world. They together created the first iteration of humanity supposedly and blessed them with magic. The dark god also created things known as Grim that were to put it bluntly demons. Born with no other impulse than to kill and destroy they spread across the planet. They could grow more intelligent and powerful with age but thanks to magic humanity kept them culled down.-
Due to some personal drama a woman named Salem gets cursed to live forever by the gods after she tries to trick them into upsetting the balance for personal gain. A bit of a sad story really as the love of her life had died and she only sought to bring him back to life. Anyways to get back at the gods she tricked the kings of humanity into believing they could steal the power of the gods since she herself was immortal. The gods in their fury stripped humanity of magic and killed them all before abandoning the world, or so it seemed for a matter of many many years(time span unknown).-
Eventually a new humanity evolved onto the planet and started to take over again. By this point however Grim covered most of the planet and were extremely powerful with an innate hatred for humanity. Humanity didn't have magic this time however and constantly lost in the battle against the forces of Grim. Until someone(no information on who) discovered a new type of magic. Vastly more limited but good enough to give humanity a fighting chance. It was magic that existed by expressing ones soul called Aura.-
Once Aura was unlocked the person with it gained a sort of energy shield around their body that negated damage unless broken. They also gain a single ability based on the individual named a Semblance. Thanks to the boost in physical stats and these semblances a profession known as "Hunters" arose who were dedicated to defending humanity and of course hunting Grim to allow humanity to live in peace eventually. At some point another race known as Faunus came into the picture. these were mostly human looking in all regards but also had animal features, ears, tails, wings, claws, fur, scales any of these could be found in the race.-
It was racism at first sight. Humanity oppressed the Faunus, enslaved them as lesser beings, all sorts of nastiness. Eventually it lead to war between the Faunus and the ones oppressing them. The scars still run deep however and racism is a nasty little habit to kick that caused the two races to be mostly peaceful to each other but also not as there existed groups of both humans and Faunus still violently trying to either keep the Faunus down or raise them up.
