RUHAAN'S POV :
"How did Ashvi find out about Runak? Ayaan definitely wouldn't have told her, so..."
Yash :
"It slipped out of my mouth a few days ago, but I didn't know she'd put so much pressure on this."
Ruhaan:
"You know her, Yash. She will definitely meddle. Now she'll keep asking about this. What do we tell her now?"
"She'll ask Ayaan too. Let's see what answer he gives," Yash said.
"You think he'll be able to tell his sister that he killed someone ? No, never," Ruhaan smirked.
"He'll never tell his sister his reality."
Yash :
"Yeah, but she'll ask us too. What will we tell her? We can't tell her the truth."
Ruhaan:
"No, we can't."
He was thinking about what to tell Ashvi, but then he remembered something else.
"Yash," he called.
"Hmm?"
"Why were you hugging Ashvi in the corridor today? What was that?"
He asked.
"That... she was coming to you to ask about this.so just To stop her."
"But how did you know?" Yash asked.
"I saw it," Ruhaan replied coldly.
Yash smirked a little.
"You've been watching Ashvi a lot lately, Ruhaan."
"Yes, I will. After all, she is important for my plan," Ruhaan replied to him immediately.
Yash :
"You're still stuck on that same plan?"
"What do you mean? Ruhaan Raina never forgets his target," Ruhaan said confidently.
Just then a voice yelling from the hall downstairs was heard.
"Your father," Yash said while looking at Ruhaan.
Ruhaan made a bored face.
"Ruhaan, come downstairs!"
Yash and Ruhaan reached downstairs.
"Mr. Raina, stop yelling. This isn't your office where you'll yell and everyone will listen to you. Calm down," Ruhaan said casually.
"Ruhaan, don't try to show me this attitude of yours. And first answer my question.
Why didn't you attend the board meeting today? Where were you?
Do you even know how many big investors were in the meeting who are investing in our company? All those people were waiting for the CEO of
"Raina Textiles". How can you be so irresponsible, Ruhaan? Do you even care about the company or not?"
His dad was yelling at him, but Ruhaan stood there with a bored face like it didn't affect him at all.
"Ruhaan, are you listening to me?"
Ruhaan didn't respond.
"Your mother taught you all this," Mr. Raina said bitterly.
And then Ruhaan's blood boiled.
"Mr. Rishabh Raina," he burned up, and he directly grabbed his father's collar.
"Ruhaan," Yash tried to pull him off, but it was no use.
"What the hell, Ruhaan, leave !" his dad shouted at him.
"Think before saying anything about my mom. I'll listen to everything, but I won't hear anything against my mom," he said angrily.
"Ruhaan, let go," Yash finally pulled him apart.
"Ruhaan, don't you dare talk to me like that. Don't forget, I'm your father."

Ruhaan let out a fake laugh .
"Father? You call yourself a father?"
He started laughing.
"No, you're not. You're just a pathetic person and nothing else, who cheats with his secretary while leaving behind his wife and his 5-year-old son.
And when you got caught, you threw your wife, my mom, out of the house.
And you couldn't throw me out only because your father put this business and the entire inheritance in my name. You only care about money, not anyone else. I know you. I know you very well."
"But you don't know me. If I wanted to,
I could finish your entire business and everything else in a second."
After saying this, Ruhaan went straight to his room.
*After a while*
Both of them were sitting on the couch with bottles in their hands. Ruhaan was sitting with his laptop, his full attention on the screen.
Yash was observing him.
"What have you been looking at on the laptop for so long, and that too seriously ?"
"Let me see."
Yash took the laptop from Ruhaan.
And he is clearly amazed.
"Ashvi," he said.
"Why?"
Ruhaan:
"I've been researching on Ashvi for a while now."
Yash :
"Why are you researching on Ashvi?"
Ruhaan:
"Obviously, if I have to win her heart then I need to know about her likes and dislikes."
Yash was clearly pissed off.
"But you know what, I'm amazed," Ruhaan started.
"Why? While researching you found out Ashvi has a boyfriend?" Yash followed.
Ruhaan smirked.
"If she had one, I'd make them break up."
"But that's not the problem. The problem is that when I was looking at Ashvi's details, I only found info from her 8th standard onward. There's nothing about her before that on the web."
Yash : "So?"
"That is strange. After all, she's the daughter of such a big businessman, so how is it possible that there aren't any details about her? You know, I even searched about her dad "Harshad Mehra". Even there, there were no details about Ashvi Mehra."
"Yeah, so? That's not an issue. There are a lot of businessmen or celebrities who don't put any details about their kids on the web. It's not a big deal," Yash said.
Ruhaan:
"Yeah, that could be. But still, there's something. Because we've known Ayaan since 5th grade. We've been to his house so many times. We never saw Ashvi there. Forget seeing her, there wasn't even a single photo of her."
"Ashvi said she used to live in Mumbai with her grandma before."
Yash explained.
Ruhaan :
"Yeah, I know that. But just because a person isn't there doesn't mean they'll never be mentioned, right? Ayaan never said he had a younger sister."
Yash :
"Yeah, he never said that. That is a bit weird."
"Exactly. I'm sure there's something we're missing, something we're not seeing."
Just then Ruhaan's phone buzzed and a spark came into his eyes. He immediately ran to check the phone, but that spark turned into disappointment.
Yash was watching him and smiling.
"Whose message were you expecting that you ran to check your phone so fast?" he asked.
Ruhaan came back and sat down. "I've been calling Ashvi for a while now but she's not answering at all. I messaged too, but no reply to that either."
After hearing that, Yash's smile faded.
"Ruhaan," he started.
"You say you haven't forgotten your plan, but lately your behavior toward Ashvi is saying something else."
Ruhaan looked at him for a moment and said,
"Just because I've gone soft toward her doesn't mean the plan should change."
"Think twice, Ruhaan. You're saying that here, but when you're with her, you yourself don't know what you're doing."
That left Ruhaan's mouth shut.
