Chapter 13 - CHAPTER -13

" Mahi think for some time in himself silently . Arya, drop Siya at her restaurant first. I'll go and see what's going on with Vini," Mahi whispered in Arya's ear. Turning to Siya, he said, "Siya, your brother will drop you at the restaurant. I have some urgent work to attend to."

"Okay, Sir. You may go," Siya replied, her eyes downcast, her voice heavy with sadness.

"Hey, crazy girl, what happened?" Mahi asked, gently lifting her chin to meet his gaze.

"Sir, what you don't realize is that my course batch ended today. I won't be coming to coaching anymore," Siya said, looking directly into his eyes. "From tomorrow, I'll be working as a waitress and delivery girl at my chai sister restaurant. I told Chai sister she didn't agree at first, but I managed to convince her with great difficulty."

Mahi felt a pang of sadness hearing this, but he quickly masked it with a smile. "You silly girl... I don't call you 'brainless' for no reason," he teased, giving her a light, playful flick on the forehead.

"Ouch, Sir! That hurts," Siya muttered innocently, rubbing the spot where he flicked her with a hint of pretend anger.

Mahi glanced at Arya, who caught the hint immediately. "I'll be waiting at the car," Arya said and walked away. Left alone, Mahi turned back to Siya. "Aww, sorry Kutti," he said softly, leaning in to plant a gentle kiss on her forehead. "Look, Kutti... no one and no situation can ever take you away from me. I won't let you go. Until my last breath, you will be with me, and I will be with you. Understood? Or... do I need to explain it in a different way?"

He pulled her closer by the waist with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"No, no! I understood perfectly, Sir! There's absolutely no need for further 'explanations'!" Siya laughed, quickly unwinding his hand from her waist. She stepped back and teased, "Have a safe journey, Sir. Bye!" before bolting away like a flash.

Watching her run away, a small smile played on Mahi's lips. "Crazy girl... I will never leave you, Kutti, until my last breath," he whispered to himself. His expression then turned solemn as a stray tear escaped. "God took my Shravani away from me, but if He tries to take you away too, I will follow you wherever you go in that very moment."

He wiped his tears, walked to his car, and drove off. Meanwhile, Arya began driving car to drop Siya towards her restaurant.
