Noir didn't flinch when he felt the bullet hit his armored form , not even a dent not to mention even without the armor nothing would have changed.
Boom!
But this gun shot was like a signal to him as his form vanished before appearing before the soldier that pulled the trigger, a Sonic boom echoing too late to announce his disappearance.
"Ah!" The soldier was startled but he didn't have any time to do anything else as Noir's armored claw caught him by the face before slamming him to the ground.
Bam!
Crack!
There was no blood as the soldier's head disappeared into the sand, his feet and hands twitching before the movement dyed down.
"Last chance.." Noir spoke his voice lacked empathy as he could care less if they gave up.
And as it turned out they were indeed unwilling to give up.
"Die freak!"
" Kill the Mutant Freak!"
All kinds of shouts and screams echoed as the soldiers opened fire , sparks flying as the bullets impacted Noir's armor harmlessly.
Noir didn't move … he turned his gaze to the ones who were standing on the telekinetic platform he made , as he was still maintaining it.
At his level he could do it effortlessly.
He knew the brotherhood of Mutants wouldn't care if he wiped these mutant hating soldiers out but the X-Men would surely mind but the fact that they didn't immediately rush to stop him proved that the things he showed them did have an effect, about the inhumane experiments conducted in Genosha and how Meta humans were treated like animals , even animals had rights but in Genosha a Meta human didn't have that.
Noir felt nothing, to him killing these people was equivalent to the cleansing he did in Gotham.
Heroic code and chivalry meant jack shit when you couldn't protect what was precious.
To Noir the things were pretty simple , these people were threat to his unborn child…. So sadly they just had to go… no matter how miniscule their threat might be….

" T-This isn't right… he is clearly strong enough to incapacitate them without having to kill them , their weapons do nothing to him… this is just mindless slaughter… are we just going to let him do this ? The professor wouldn't agree to this… this is not what he taught us… this isn't how you achieve peace…" Warren said in an agitated tone as he gazed at the people around only for them not say anything.
Ororo just exhaled as she closed her eyes , she didn't want to say anything, she wouldn't be heavy handed like Adrian , but she wouldn't try to stop him either.
She had seen him in his earlier streams when Kitty had put them in the mansion, he had just wanted to save people at least that was what she felt.
To do what was right…. But somethings were never meant to be….

Warren didn't like Adrian and the reason was pretty petty since it was just a matter of ego.

Warren felt even more annoyed when no one spoke up he opened up his mouth to say something but he was quickly silenced by the mocking words from a red head , her words dripping with disdain.
" Funny words Pretty boy ~ " Wanda said in a mocking tone her face had a disdainful smile.
Wanda didn't let Warren speak as she continued.
"Weak words from an even weaker man , what do you know about peace to speak so impassionately about it ? What do you know about the sufferings of our kind , you wouldn't know because you are a pretty little bird looking at the outside world through the confines of his comfortable nest…. Pathetic men like you make me retch…" Wanda words dripped disgust and mockery as Warren seemed like he had swallowed a sour lemon.
His ideologies and principles were taught to him by professor Charles Xavier who taught him that peace between humans and mutants was through understanding.
All these conflicts and fear arose from misunderstanding and being peaceful was the solution to everything.
The members of the brotherhood just sneered at Warren scoffing at his flowery words.
Most of them had to fight to even survive , and they didn't see the reason behind being merciful to an enemy that wanted you dead.
They came with the intent to kill, if Adrian wasn't strong enough then he would be dead , riddled with holes on the ground….

Ta!Ta!Ta!
Gun shots continued to ring out as shell after shell landed on Noir with zero damage to show for it making the soldiers even more frantic.
Noir was completely still as he was contemplating how to get rid of the enemies before him , in the end he decided to do it in the most visually striking way as he walked over to the soldiers through the hail of bullets , his pace being a moderate.
The slow walk only made things more menacing as the men felt a primal fear taking over their bodies , their legs trembling in terror at the inhumane beast that was coming in their direction despite the gun shots.
One of the men took a communicator from his waist and roared for back up as the device nearly fell to the floor due to his trembling hands.
Thunk!Thunk!
The heavy sound of metal meeting earth along with gun fire was a constant as the enemy showed no signs of slowing down.
Noir reached the first soldier as the man seemed to have run out of bullets as he switched to his secondary firearm and emptied his bullets onto Noir.
Bang!Bang!
"Arghhhhh dieeee! - " The soldiers screamed but his words got cut in the middle as a palm caught his face and blasted him into the earth below .
Squelch!
A flesh grounding sound was heard as the soldier's head that got buried into the ground surely wasn't intact.
It was brutal and savage but it did the job as the remaining men stepped back , but none were willing to put down their guns.
Their hate for Meta's being too much as they refused to give up….

The sound of vehicles pulling up echoed as a couple of tanks and military vehicles with state of the art weaponry pulled up training their sights on the lone figure terrorizing their fellow soldiers.
( Photokinesis to hide the Metas above not to mention how high they are)
Whoosh!
A missile was fired from one of the vehicles as it rapidly flew towards Noir at Supersonic speeds approaching him within mere moments.
As for the soldiers fighting him…. Well they would have served their purpose by helping to bring down this adversary…. After all they were soldiers.
Noir watched as the Missile came closer to him , he could let it hit him and it would do absolutely nothing other than just take out the soldiers near him making him not have to take care of them himself…. but where was the fun in that…
Noir caught the missile as he performed a flip in the air to send it back where it came from , his movements being fast , precise and fluid that the one watching didn't even have time to say a word as the Missile flew back and blew up the launcher where it came from.
Boom!
It created a huge explosion taking out multiple military vehicles near it and killing the soldiers near it.
" K-Kill him! Deploy all missiles! Kill the freak" One man who seemed to be the commander roared frantically as he scrambled to give commands.
Bam!
Splat!
But the man was quickly turned into blood mist as he was hit by a rapid projectile.
Noir didn't pause as he walked over to the other soldiers who were trying to back away and reload as he caught them and used them like missiles, throwing them at the other men who were firing at him , killing two birds with one stone.
It was brutal but other than a mist of blood nothing remained.
Noir didn't see these people as humans , he had mentally marked them as obstacles to be cleared , targets he needed to eradicate.
The carnage continued as he didn't bother with the ones that laid down their weapons to surrender.
He wasn't planning on completely sparing them but it wouldn't look too good if he started to slaughter the ones that gave up resistance….

The Military regime of Genosha fell , and multiple research teams and soldiers that were backed by influential governments were eradicated.
The country was freed as it was taken over by Metahumans becoming the first nation of its kind and it certainly wouldn't be the last.
All of this happened in a day and when the news reached the necessary people it sent a shockwave of apprehension and uncertainty.
Power and Control.
Two things, the ones at the top hated slipping from their control , and the Meta humans and what happened at Genosha was exactly that.
The undercurrents were slowly stirring and a storm was on the horizon….
