"No wonder Boss Wang's dishes are so delicious; it turns out they're flavored with money."
Wang Fan looked at Matt helplessly, really unable to understand what he meant by this.
"Don't listen to his nonsense, that's not true. Who would be willing to spend so much money to have me cook?"
After forcing out an explanation, Wang Fan quickly changed the subject: "Line up and keep order; this pot of noodles is ready."
Once they heard the noodles were ready, the discussion quieted down, and everyone got ready to eat their fill.
Matt had already stepped aside, feeling even more pleased with himself. He gave Wang Fan a "No need to thank me" look before finding a chair to sit down.
He gazed at the bowl of delicious-looking noodles before him, eyes sparkling with excitement. After saying grace, he couldn't wait to pick up his chopsticks and mix the ingredients in the large bowl until every noodle was coated with the rich satay sauce.
