Kido finally spoke, tears on his face. "I'm sorry… I never looked for you all these years."
They hugged tightly, both promising never to leave each other's side again.
Anna stepped forward. "Here we are," she said, pointing at the dark room in front of them.
They all walked in and were shocked to see Kido sitting on the floor, laughing with a stranger. It was the first time they had ever seen him this happy, chatting freely.
Kay stepped forward. "Hey… what is going on here? Do you know him? You don't have to explain anything. We're here to take you home."
Kido looked at them and said, "This is my best friend. He's like a brother to me." He then introduced them all to Zack.
Zack looked surprised. "You mean you are the Savior of the Heart?" he asked. "I knew you were special the moment I saw you," he told Kido. Then he turned to John. "And you… you're the young lord. It's really good to finally meet you."
John smiled at him without saying a word.
Zack continued, "Come to think of it, I saw some strangers looking for you all. They said they're from the Northern Nation. They were sent to bring John with them to their kingdom. And their king… I think he said King Josh."
Mary's eyes widened. "King Josh, you say?"
Zack nodded. "Yeah."
Mary looked at John. "John… that's your father's brother."
John stepped forward. "And where are they now?"
Zack shrugged. "I don't know. They aren't with me—they're probably somewhere close. I can find them," he added.
Kay nodded. "Good."
Zack raised his hand. "But only on one condition."
Anna asked, "And what's that?"
Zack smiled. "I want to join you all… to save the world. That's what I've always wanted to do."
