(After the car of Ahmed's family disappeared from sight, Ahmed remained standing for moments, staring at the road in silence. His heart was heavy with sadness, but the words of his father and mother were still echoing in his mind, giving him the strength to continue.)
Misaki approaches him quietly, then says with a gentle smile:
Misaki: "Ahmed-kun... they will worry if they see you sad like this."
(Ahmed looks at her, then smiles a slight smile.)
Ahmed: "I know... I will miss them a lot, but I am happy because I was able to see them."
Misaki nods her head understandingly, while Honoka and Yoshika stand by his side in silence, as if they want to comfort him just by being close to him.
After a few minutes... the four return to the inn, and each of them prepares for their school day. Ahmed puts on his school uniform, then makes sure that Yoshika has prepared her bag well.
Ahmed: "Are you ready for school, Yoshika?"
(Yoshika raises her bag enthusiastically.)
Yoshika: "Yes! I won't forget my homework today."
(Ahmed smiles and gently pats her head.)
Then the four go out together, walking through the quiet streets of Tokyo, while the morning sunlight illuminated the path ahead of them. They arrived first at Yoshika's elementary school. Yoshika bows, bidding everyone farewell, then turns toward Ahmed.
Yoshika: "Ahmed-niisan... see you after school!"
Ahmed: "I will come to pick you up as usual."
(Yoshika smiles a wide smile, then enters the school while waving to them with her small hand.)
Ahmed continues looking at her until he is reassured of her entering the building, then turns to Misaki and Honoka.
Ahmed: "Let's go, or else we will arrive late."
The three head to their high school.
And while walking... silence accompanied them more than usual. Misaki noticed that Ahmed was still lost in thought, while Honoka looked at him from time to time, as if she wanted to say something, but couldn't find the right words. After arriving at school, classes ended quietly, but Ahmed kept thinking about the future, and about everything that had changed over the past months.
And after school hours... he turned to Misaki and Honoka, and said in a calm tone:
Ahmed: "Can we go up to the school rooftop for a bit? I want to talk to you both about something important."
Misaki and Honoka look at each other, then nod their heads in agreement, and the three head toward the rooftop, where a conversation that might change the future of them all awaited them.
