(A little before the sun rose, silence wrapped around the entire inn. Nothing could be heard except the faint chirping of birds and the sound of the wind passing through the trees surrounding the place.)
Ahmed opens his eyes slowly after feeling a slight movement outside. He raises his head and sees his father, mother, and siblings preparing silently, gathering their bags so as not to wake anyone.
Ahmed sits up quietly. He knew that this moment would come... but he was not ready for it. He gets up and heads toward them, and his father turns to him, smiling a smile mixed with pride and sadness.
Ahmed's Father: "Good morning, my son... it seems we woke you up."
Ahmed shakes his head, smiling a faint smile.
Ahmed: "I wished that this morning would delay a little."
Everyone falls silent for a moment. Then his mother steps toward him and embraces him affectionately.
Ahmed's Mother: "Take care of yourself, Ahmed... and do not forget that you have a home always waiting for you in Yemen."
Ahmed feels the warmth of her words, so he kisses her head as he always used to do.
Ahmed: "Rest assured, Mother... I will be fine."
After that, he embraces his father for a long time. The father pats his son's shoulder firmly.
Ahmed's Father: "You have become a man we are all proud of."
Ahmed smiles, but his eyes filled with tears. Then he exchanges embraces with his siblings one by one, while his little sister holds onto his arm, trying not to cry.
Meanwhile... Misaki, Honoka, and Yoshika woke up to the sounds of farewell. They came out quietly, and when they realized that the time of departure had come, sadness hung over their faces.
Misaki bows respectfully before Ahmed's parents.
Misaki: "Thank you for all your kindness to us."
And Honoka bows as well.
Honoka: "I will never forget the days you spent with us."
As for Yoshika, she waves her small hand, saying sadly:
Yoshika: "Visit us again... please."
Ahmed's mother smiles, then gently pats her head.
Ahmed's Mother: "God willing, we will meet again."
The family members carry their bags and head toward the car. And before the door closes... Ahmed's father turns to his son for the last time, raising his hand in farewell. Ahmed returns the wave, trying to hold back his tears.
The car drives away slowly... and Ahmed remains standing in his place, watching it until it completely disappears from sight.
Silence prevailed for moments. But Misaki approached him, then stood by his side without saying anything. Honoka and Yoshika also stood near him. No one needed to speak... for just their presence by his side was enough to make him feel that he was no longer alone.
Ahmed took a deep breath, then wiped his tears with a calm smile.
Ahmed: "Come on... we shouldn't be late for school."
(Everyone nods their heads in agreement, and they begin preparing for a new day, while the memories of the days they spent with Ahmed's family accompany them on their way to the beginning of a new phase.)
