The first week of April 1991 arrived with mixed emotions. After almost fourty three days of work, laughter, endless retakes, and long shooting schedules across Bombay and Other locations. Saajan had finally reached its last day. Even before shooting started, the atmosphere inside Film City was different. Assistant directors who usually shouted instructions were smiling. Spot boys were taking photographs with the cast. Technicians who had spent months together joked that after tomorrow they would have to find another family.
The final scene was an emotional one. Aman, Akash and Pooja stood together after everything they had gone through.
Lawrence D'Souza had rewritten and reshot parts of the sequence several times over the previous week because he wanted the audience to feel friendship and sacrifice rather than heartbreak.
Salman Khan arrived earlier than usual that morning. He hugged almost every technician on the set and joked that after the film released, they shouldn't forget him. "Brother," he told Adil with a grin, "if this becomes a blockbuster, remember I sacrificed Madhuri ji for your happiness. I deserve at least half the credit." Madhuri laughed. "You deserve half the blame too."
Salman dramatically placed a hand on his chest. "This is how friendship dies." Even Lawrence D'Souza burst out laughing.
The cameras rolled. Standing before Akash, Aman spoke quietly. "Friendship isn't about winning. Sometimes loving someone means accepting their happiness." Salman lowered his eyes and smiled sadly. "And sometimes friendship means letting go." Madhuri's eyes became moist naturally. No glycerine was needed.
"Cut!" Lawrence said. For a moment nobody spoke. Then Lawrence stood up and shouted loudly. "Perfect! That's it!" He raised both arms.
"Saajan is complete!"
Applause exploded throughout the set. The entire unit cheered. People hugged each other. Photographs were taken. Sweets arrived. Lawrence D'Souza embraced Adil warmly. "You made Aman unforgettable."
Then he hugged Salman. "And you made Akash everyone's friend." Finally he smiled toward Madhuri. "And you made both these fools fall in love with you."
The entire set erupted with laughter. Unfortunately, Salman received news from home immediately afterward. His father had called regarding an urgent family matter, and he had to leave.
Before departing, he hugged Adil tightly. "Professor, we'll celebrate later." Then he whispered mischievously. "And don't stay alone with Madhuri ji too long. You're too serious." Adil laughed and said. "You should go." Salman grinned. "I know. But remember, friendship first."
He shook hands with Madhuri "Bye, Madhuri ji. Don't miss me too much."
"You wish," she laughed. Within half an hour, Salman had left. Most of the unit stayed behind for photographs and farewell conversations. By ten o'clock, Film City had become almost empty.
For the first time in months, Adil felt strangely restless. The film was finished. There would be no shooting tomorrow. No makeup room. No script readings. No waiting for Lawrence D'Souza's instructions.
Something felt missing.
After changing clothes and covering his face with a cap and scarf, he decided to take a walk through Bombay. As he reached the parking area, he heard a voice. "So, you planned to disappear without me?" Madhuri stood there, smiling beneath a shawl and sunglasses.
Adil smiled and said. "You haven't gone home yet?" She shook her head "Not yet."
"Then let's walk." Neither wanted to return home immediately. They talked about childhood memories, favourite songs, strange fan letters and funny moments from the shooting. For once, they weren't stars. Just two ordinary people.
The streets of Bombay had grown quieter after midnight. After the completion celebrations and Salman's sudden departure due to a family emergency, Adil had wanted some time alone. To his surprise, Madhuri had quietly followed him. Both had covered their faces with caps, scarves, and simple clothes to avoid attention. They walked aimlessly, talking about the film, laughing over Salman's jokes and wondering how audiences would react to Saajan.
Without realizing it, they had wandered into a narrow dark alley connecting two roads. Near the end of the alley, eleven or twelve men sat together drinking. Their loud laughter echoed through the night.
Adil immediately felt something was wrong. "We should turn around," he said quietly. But they had already been noticed.
One of the men stood up drunkenly. "Arrey, where are you two going?" Another blocked their path. "What are you hiding under those scarves?"
Their words quickly became filthy. Adil ignored them and took Madhuri's hand. "Come."
But one of them stepped in front of Madhuri and tried to pull away her shawl. "Leave her alone," Adil said. He pulled Madhuri towards him and that's how Madhuri goy saved
The gang members laughed. "What if we don't?"
Madhuri instinctively moved behind Adil. He could feel her hand trembling around his arm. He still tried to avoid trouble. "We don't want any problems."
But the drunken men continued their disgusting behavior, surrounding them. One of them attempted to touch Madhuri again.
That was enough. The calm expression disappeared from Adil's face.
The Captain America Physique given by the system, With Years of martial arts training and the incredible physical conditioning that he had developed over the years took over instinctively. His only thought was to protect the terrified woman behind him. He acted on his nerves like a tiger.
He gave a lightning fast kick to the nearest, who collapsed like a corpse on the ground. Adil didn't stop there, he mived his elbow hit the jaw lf the person who first tried to misbehave with Madhuri. Silence followed. No one moved, Two people who were hit are on the floor. Seeing this All of them moved and rush towards Adil. Adil didn't back down. He also rushed yowards them.
Chaos erupted inside the dark alley. The drunken gang members rushed at him recklessly, confident because of their numbers. But one after another, they found themselves crashing into walls, stumbling over each other, or collapsing to the ground in confusion. Their confidence slowly turned into disbelief. Madhuri stood frozen, unable to believe what she was seeing.
Suddenly, a man who appeared to be their leader cursed loudly and suddenly pulled out a pistol. Everything stopped. Madhuri's face became pale. She called out. "Adil!"
The gang leader's finger pulled the trigger. The deafening sound echoed through the alley. Adil also stopped. But in his drunken state, The gang leader shot missed completely, striking the wall nearby. For a split second, everyone froze.
Adil reacted immediately. Before the gang leader could recover from the shock of missing, Adil closed the distance and struck him hard enough to send him crashing unconscious to the ground. The pistol slipped from his hand and clattered across the pavement.
The sight completely shattered whatever courage remained in the others. "Boss!"
"Let's get out of here!" One of them said. Fear replaced arrogance.
Within moments, the remaining men dragged away their injured companions and disappeared into the darkness.
Silence returned. Adil stood breathing heavily. Then he heard soft sobbing. He turned. Madhuri was shaking. For several seconds she simply stared at him, tears forming in her eyes. Then suddenly she ran forward and threw herself into his arms.
Her entire body trembled violently. "Adil..." Her voice broke. "I was so scared."
Without caring about anything else, she held him tightly, almost desperately, burying her face against his chest. He gently wrapped his arms around her.
"It's over," he whispered softly. But even after several minutes, she refused to let go.
And looking at the terrified woman in his embrace, Adil realized one thing. No matter how strong he was, tonight she didn't need a hero. She simply needed someone she trusted. And he wasn't going to leave her alone.
Seeing her condition, Adil knew she wasn't ready to go home. It was already past midnight. So he decided to find a nearby hotel. Fortunately, one small hotel still had vacancies. Unfortunately, the receptionist apologized awkwardly. "Sir, only one room is available." Adil immediately looked toward Madhuri and said. "We can find another place." But she shook her head instantly. "It's ok, it's not safe outside." She lowered her eyes. "I don't want to go anywhere else tonight."
The fear hadn't completely left her. So they took the room. Neither noticed the irony.
Months of filming a love story had ended.
And now, for the first time since they had met, they found themselves alone together, away from cameras, scripts, and the world itself.Outside, Bombay continued to sleep beneath the summer night.
In the room, Adil sat beside Madhuri on the bed and comforted her for a while. After she finally calmed down, he went to the bathroom to take a shower.
A few minutes later, Adil emerged from the bathroom with only a towel wrapped around his waist.
Madhuri looked at him and found herself unable to look away. His body was perfectly toned, with not an ounce of unnecessary fat. Her eyes unconsciously lingered on his well-defined eight-pack abs while water droplets still trickled down his skin.
Adil soon realized that something was wrong. Then he remembered that he wasn't alone in the room. His eyes met Madhuri's, and his face immediately flushed with embarrassment. Without saying a word, he quickly retreated back into the bathroom.
On the other side, Madhuri also realized that she had completely lost her composure. Feeling embarrassed, she inwardly cursed Adil as a shameless bastard.
After a while, Adil came out again, this time fully dressed. The memory of the previous scene caused Madhuri's face to turn red once more.
Looking completely unfazed, Adil said, "There's only one bed in the room. We'll have to share it tonight."
Understanding the situation, Madhuri simply nodded.
Since it was already late, she also went to take a shower. However, she was much more careful, making sure not to repeat Adil's mistake. When she returned, she saw Adil lying on one side of the bed. She placed a pillow between them and lay down on the other side.
Neither of them could sleep.
Noticing that Adil was still awake, Madhuri softly asked, "Why did you act like that today? You're usually calm. Why did you lose your temper?"
Adil remained silent for a moment before turning to look at her. "I just couldn't stand seeing them bully you," he said quietly. "I acted on instinct." Madhuri fell silent for a few moments before asking directly, "Do you like me?"
Adil didn't answer immediately. He simply gazed into her beautiful eyes, lost for words. He looked at her beautiful, fair face, then at her red lips. As if possessed, he leaned forward and kissed them. His lips met hers. Madhuri was surprised by his actions. She tried to stop him for a while, but Adil's tongue parted her lips and met hers.
While kissing, Adil's hands roamed over Madhuri's body. Like an explorer, his hands explored her curves. After a while, Madhuri came back to her senses and pushed him away.
Adil looked at her as if waiting for an explanation. She looked at him with an angry expression.
"It was my first kiss," she said.
"So was mine. Didn't you like it?" Adil asked.
Madhuri looked at him, and her expression returned to normal. She said, "Adil, it's not right. I am already twenty-four years old, and you are only eighteen. We have a six-year age difference."
Adil didn't care. His hand reached for her face. Looking into her eyes, he said, "I don't care."
Then he kissed her again, and this time it lasted for five minutes. His hands roamed over her body. The temperature in the room rose, and they breathed heavily. Adil removed his clothes, revealing his perfectly toned physique. Madhuri's hand subconsciously touched his abs. She also removed her clothes, leaving only their underwear on.
Adil kissed her lips again, then her neck, her chest, and her belly.
The last pieces of clothing were removed.
"You look beautiful," Adil said while looking at her naked body.
Madhuri blushed shyly and covered her private parts with her hands. Adil gently removed them.
She looked at Adil and then at his 8-inch-long asset. Although she hadn't scene one before, looking at the size of this. She knew it wasn't going to be easy. She requested, "It's my first time. Please be gentle."
Adil nodded.
Then a battle erupted in the room, lasting for a full two hours. Heavy breathing can be heard with low moans.
Thanks to his enhanced physique, Adil didn't feel tired. But Madhuri, since it was her first time, was completely exhausted.
Adil looked at the red dots on the white bed and felt a sense of pride. Just then,
"Ding...."
Voice echoed in his mind. However, Adil didn't pay any attention to it. He simply took Madhuri into his arms and soon drifted off to sleep with her in his embrace.
