Upon arriving at the mansion, Cherry was immediately greeted by the housekeeper, Ma Delya. The old woman accompanied her to the room where Grandma Mathilde was resting.
Upon entering the room, Cherry saw the old woman lying on a gigantic bed. Her once rosy cheeks had turned pale, as had her body, which had become extremely thin.
Cherry ran to the old woman who had woken up when she entered. She smiled affectionately and her face showed joy when she saw Cherry.
Cherry took the old woman's thin hand and tearfully looked at her. "H-How are you, grandma? W-Does something hurt?" Cherry asked worriedly, still sobbing from holding back her tears.
"You're really young, grandma's okay. Don't cry because your pretty face is getting ugly, miss," the old woman replied jokingly as she gently caressed the hand she was holding.
