Veteran Team Coach POV:
I can't believe it this whole tournament has been a disaster. First race my team gets completely outclassed. In the second race, it becomes a complete masterclass that even though I appreciate the lesson I hate the teacher. Third race we were basically background dancers to someone else's performance. Now even trying everything we've got we're still losing!
First, we lose the lead-off race to someone terrible at the obstacle part. Then to the captain who is now my new favorite player. Then to someone bad at the flat part. Now Agent Azure receives the baton and begins to run. She immediately parkour's through the obstacle course perfectly controlling herself to dodge every thrown weapon.
She had such control that she soon combined her agility with core strength to glide on the fallen debris caused by Ash earlier. She then backflipped off and used her speed and agility to dodge and glide over what's left of the obstacle course. Once she got out she used her flexibility and strength in her lower body to burst through the flat section. She controlled her speed using her strength and flexibility giving her a speed boost her body should never have. Damn I've never seen anyone so good at controlling their body like this, she really is that team's star.
She soon changed her running style to preserve her legs and save stamina, but kept the speed using the hills and impact of her steps. No one got close, no one stood a chance and soon she jumped and spun over the finish line. She did that to not only stop, but also avoid any remaining traps. She looked at the camera and bowed as if she had just finished her performance. Everyone in the crowd was cheering at what they saw and experienced.
The interview team came as Azure rested and drank some water. People saw a talented performer on the field, but what I saw was a jack of all trades with a high amount of intelligence to know which abilities to use at the right moment. I knew this person was chosen as the face of this team for a reason and I just saw that reason. Now that the other racers had finished it was time for the interview. The Interviewer spoke saying," Congratulations on your and your team's absolute victory here today."
She then continued speaking and asked," What's next for you and your team?" Azure then responded," Seriously isn't it obvious? This is just the preview, we're headed to Buenos Aires." Everyone in the crowd gasped, of course they did, the next event was this year's first super major. There are only two a year and they are the only two events second only to the Premier.
This is where the big dogs come and play. All the strongest teams and players show up and compete. It has the most points and the highest prize money. It's literally a ruthless death trap that's awfully difficult to win for every team involved and admittedly amazing for audiences watching. The interviewer then said," That's a Super Major Ma'am, like Minors are easy but Majors are hard."
She smiled and responded," Goddesses I hope so." Was she saying we were too weak, or is she taking the Super Major too lightly? She left and I looked at my team who were glaring at them. Guess this isn't over yet. Now we might not be there at Buenos Aires, but we're coming for you soon Bloody Broncos.
Imperial Punk POV:
We were doing great at the tournament, but some including my girlfriend weren't satisfied with this level. Now I'm in a cage with Vic and Gray watching BlaD run for her life. It's great that the cages come with emergency exits, radios to call your team or staff, and a small TV broadcasting the same thing as the big screen. Vic finally got out of the cage and we saw BlaD struggle in the first half and run the second with ease. When BlaD finished Vic protected her like a chad and soon began her run.
She ran magnificently as she not only fought through the first half with courage and strength, but also revolutionized in the second half. Bro, you gotta be cracked to do two finishing kicks in the same race. How do you turn on every person in a stadium in one run? Still, I look outside the cage and see Ash outside. Everyone tried to attack her and walked into bear traps.
She then proceeded to beat the brakes out of every other competitor in the most brutal display I've ever seen. There are 20 rules in this race and I think she just added more. She absolutely added more after watching what she just did on track. I got out on the field, but now everyone was staying away from me as they saw what happened to their teammates. I used this time to observe the field figuring out what I must do.
I know Gray will suck at the flat section so I know I have time to strategize and observe the track using her footage. When she finally got back she gave me enough time to know what I'd do the entire race. I spoke taking the baton and saying before running off," What took you so long?" She got pissed, but at that point, I was gone. I ran using my parkour for the first half completely.
I've always had complete control of my body as I learn and develop in a way that improves myself. People call me a jack of all trades, but I'm actually a master of myself. I improve myself and add strategies and techniques that match my current abilities and capabilities. I push myself further in a way that benefits me. With prior knowledge and strategy, I know how to win a race without recklessly destroying myself.
I am someone who falls to my preparations and rises to my knowledge and observations. I get multiple check-ups, I eat what I lack, and I build for something greater. Because if I ever need to rise higher I know there's more there. I waste no energy and I only take what I need during races. I am a lightning bolt that hits precisely and absolutely.
I can now run every pace, on every track, on every field, and in every race. I slow down when needed, and run faster when necessary. I don't need to run perfectly cause I can run absolutely. I soon arrived at the flat section and decided to change strategies and running styles. Now I ran with ease without breaking or wasting energy.
I soon arrived and jumped over the traps Gray left behind at the finish. Which she also probably left there for me after what I said earlier. I was guided by staff for the interview, given water and towels, and a seat to wait for the race to end. They soon all arrived pissed that they still lost giving it everything they got. The interview soon began.
The interviewer said to me," Congratulations on you and your team's absolute victory here today. What's next for you and your team?" It was obvious so I answered enthusiastically," Seriously isn't it obvious? This is just the preview, we're headed to Buenos Aires." Once I said that the whole stadium went quiet, guess it wasn't as obvious as I thought.
The interviewer then said to me stuttering," Th...That's a Super Major M..Ma'am, like.. Minors are easy b..but Majors are h..hard." Goddesses I hope so cause this has not been a challenge so far. I then spoke saying," Goddesses I hope so." Cause my girlfriend is still mad at how disappointing you guys have been. Now it was music time, let's rock and roll baby.
I soon left and soon the trophy and point ceremony began. We not only received victory sashes for the race we won, but the tournament trophy. We also got points for the invite to the premier. Combined with the points we got with the opens we had gathered a lot, but had a long way to go. We soon got back to the locker room to change for the performance.
Fan Boy: Tom POV
Today was the perfect day as a fan of this sport. I thought today would be the last time my crew and I ever went to this together. I even felt awful that I could only get tickets to such a small-time event. We all tried to get our families into this league, but it was a no-go. It was at the point they flat-out didn't want us being here.
Still, this was our last shot cause we all chose family over the sport. I just didn't realize the sport would come for all of us and drag us all back in. The first race of the relay, the lead off was Ruby who danced around every opponent and escaped every trap untouched, it was beautiful. Then came Cobalt who went so fast she broke the bloody record by a lot. Next was Amber who ran with such machine-like precision that she made sure she was at a speed where her opponents were never going to get closer to her.
Finally, Crimson who ran at such an elite level I saw flashbacks of the league's best. She was so unchallenged that she cried, and I soon knew she wasn't mocking anyone, she was a competition junkie. She loves racing against others not dominating by herself. The second race in the marathon is predicted to be another snooze fest. It became a masterclass and a lesson in how to run marathons, by a teacher who calls herself King, Ivory.
Ivory set the race on fire so it can rise from the ashes as what it should be, the battleground of Stayers. Now reading online I know every Stayer with a pulse in this league wants to claim her crown. Some say Ivory is unworthy, others say the crown belongs to someone else. I say this is getting interesting. Third race, obstacle race the race that made our families hate this scene.
Viridian arrived and turned it into a work of art. Even if you weren't a fan before, you are now, of the league and especially the Bloody Broncos. She flew, she danced, and she captured everyone's heart. Now even the daughters of my friends want to run like her. Heck everyone wanted her to themselves.
Last race first Ebony desperate start, but amazing finish. Born for dirt and flats not so much for obstacles. Then the Captain came and she turned my pals and me into lifelong fans. Like that run was the coolest run I've ever seen. From the action to the race itself, it was magnificent all the way through.
Next is Ash and she is a master of obstacle races to the point that I immediately knew she was going to add new rules to the race. She's like Canada saying," What I do isn't illegal, but it soon will be." Then she entered the flat and it's the opposite story, she's bad like untalented bad. It's like what you get if you work hard like everyone else and find out you suck. Only those with an insane work ethic or large amounts of talent can stand out, and it seems she chose to work hard in the art of cruelty.
She will never be good at flats and her domain will forever be obstacle races. Soon it was Azure's turn and I've never seen someone master themselves this perfectly. She still has more growth available to her as she is still able to surpass herself. People usually mistake a person like that as a jack of all trades, but I've worked with enough people to see a master of self. She soon kept switching styles and adapting to what she's observed.
She ran faster and faster with ease no less as she moved from one part of the track to the next. When she finished she spoke saying their next stop was Buenos Aires, the Super Major. I knew I needed to set up the broadcast ASAP and set up a party at my place soon. We are watching this tournament together, especially with our families as new fans. I looked at my wife and she nodded knowing what I was thinking.
The award ceremony will soon take place and before it started an announcement was made," Hello everyone a special announcement. Today after the award ceremony we have a special surprise for everyone. Please stick around and enjoy." I just wanted to see the award ceremony, but okay. I look to my friends and our families.
I then ask them," You guys want to see the surprise!" Sarah responded," I want to see, I've been here for years and have checked online the league has never done this. They've announced stuff and revealed things before a tournament, but never during. This must be super special." Bill agreed saying," My family and I are in."
Roger and Jerome agreed with their families, while Sarah's family and mine also agreed to stay. The award ceremony took place and soon the Bloody Broncos were on stage. Ruby, Cobalt, Amber, and Crimson received their record-breaker edition sashes. Which had different reactions, Ruby and Amber accepted theirs calmly, while Cobalt having the two record-breaking editions, hugged hers excitedly. Crimson though sighed in disappointment, " You'll get some competition next time for sure tiger.
Next Ivory received her record-breaking edition as she broke the marathon record. She just spread her arms like a douche and nodded while wearing sunglasses. After is Viridian who was smiling but in a dream-like state like she just experienced something amazing while we weren't looking. She received her sash and she just wandered off to one of the staff snapping her out of her trance. Next, it was Ebony, Primrose, Ash, and Azure getting their awards, with Ebony distracted as she got hers even when she also got a record breaker edition sash.
While the Captain, Ash, and Azure received theirs stoically. The coaches and staff all also wore masks but the owner, coaches, and the rest of the staff wore bands telling you who is who. The owner lifted the trophy and soon all left the stage. They seemed to be in a rush to get to places. It took like half an hour and the announcement began.
It announced," Hello everyone, the surprise is the Bloody Broncos have registered to have a victory performance if they win the tournament. Since their concert will begin soon." You have got to be kidding me. They were so confident in winning this that they registered a concert which is optional and the quality of it has to be paid for by your organization. Not to mention song creation, choreography, and practice.
They weren't joking as the lights went out and the other teams had either left or were watching in their locker rooms. When the light came on the Broncos were on a stage and the first song played. It started with a tune I've never heard before. The stage appeared from the ground as it was built into the stadium for music concerts. There I saw Ebony on guitar, Azure on lead singer, Amber on keyboard, Cobalt on bass, and Agent Onyx on drums. The song began and my life changed forever.
The song played and I was in awe, it was a genre I've never heard of before. It was so cool the first song was called, 'Wider World.' It was exciting, rebellious, and powerful as its beats and harmony were amazing. Azure truly owned this song as it's clearly about her. Next the exciting, 'Out The Way' played as a representation of who they were as a whole.
It was dominant, strong, and powerful. It gave me goosebumps as I listened to it. The final song played and it was the one that captured you immediately as a lady came out with a guitar and Azure got her own guitar. A song with three guitarists. Now Ebony was on the mic as well and the song began, and it was called, 'Fighting Free.'
It played and the song exploded through me and throughout the entire stadium. It was magnificent as it sank into my soul. I will never forget this song and I will always love this song. When the song ended Ebony spoke saying," This world has only remembered one genre and it's just wrong, now I introduce to you rock and roll." He then played his guitar creating music different from anything I've ever heard of.
She then ended her music and screamed," Thank you Wellington, download our new album on every music app and online storefront. Then they left in smoke like they weren't there before. That was amazing, I soon saw everyone in the stadium taking out their phones. I did as well that album is mine. Soon it was time to leave and I watched as our families rejoiced about their experiences today.
My friends and I looked at each other knowing our days in this sport as fans are never going to end. I arrive in my car seeing the album I downloaded into my phone called,' Bloody Broncos: Strong, Wild, and Free.' There were 17 songs with Ebony as the head music producer and composer for each one. They had different singers and had Ash as songwriter in some of them even. That's when my daughter Bridgette yelled," Daddy, they released the music video for Fighting Free on UmaTube."
You've gotta be kidding me, before heading off we all watched it, the views were skyrocketing. I then looked at the downloads and every time I refreshed it increased. They even started blasting up the charts my wife told me as she checked. Now I have decided to get out of here. We all did, we knew something big just happened and now a new target for the Pop Cult has arrived and it came hard.
Sarah's husband was driving so she gave us the fastest directions on our GPSs to get home. Today was an exciting day and now it's blown sky high to something historic. Cause the Bloody Broncos are tearing through the music charts. I can't wait for the next tournament, but now it's time to go home. We drove off playing a great new song on our stereo.
