Cocky Veteran Player POV
Man Captain Primrose did a number on the competition, but soon they all ran to catch up to her. Our lead-offs all stepped out of the field and soon everyone else had a chance to leave their cages. I saw the next competitor for the leading team Agent Ash and she looked nothing special. She was smaller and skinnier than the other, this will prove to be a piece of cake to handle. I decided to attack her once I'm out of this cage.
I soon stepped out to come at her, but that's when a sudden intense pain came in my leg. "Ahhhhhh!" I screamed in pain, and soon around me I heard multiple screams of pain. I finally looked down and saw I had stepped on a bear trap. I saw others did as well, but some avoided it by walking in a hole with another bear trap.
That's when a cuff attached to a chain pulled a person nearby towards Ash and she was hit by a wrench by Ash herself. Damn it all I'm not going to let this bitch hunt it all down. All of us had the same idea, and charged at her. We tried taking out our weapons, but soon we were blinded by smoke bombs. Then each of us was thrown paintballs, some got hit and I didn't.
That's when I was hit with a blow dart, I saw it wasn't injecting anything only to distract me. That's why I didn't see the gauntlet smash my face in until it was too late. She soon attacked everyone else pushing them into her traps or bashing them to the ground in multiple ways I couldn't see. When the smoke cleared all of us were down groaning in pain or unconscious. She then saw Captain Primrose and told her to do a jump flip over the finish line.
They talked for a bit before she grabbed the baton to start the third leg. Captain Primrose left and a few minutes later I began to get up and so did many others. I needed to race I will not end this day not racing. That's when many of our teammates arrived. They ran through the finish line, but all of a sudden snap, hidden bear traps snapped closed on each of their feet, Ash you bitch.
Many dropped their batons, but I reacted quickly and grabbed it. I turned around and began running. I was slowed down by my injuries, but I kept running. That's when I realized we walked into a minefield. She put traps as she ran past here.
Many activated sudden wall traps, metal squeezers, blunt object projectiles, and liquid pouring devices. It was annoying as we went through multiple traps. There were even cuffs that chained people to certain areas struggling to break out. Thank goddesses they weren't Uma Musume grade metal. That's when we heard an explosion and looked up seeing that she had blown up the obstacle and it was now collapsing on top of us.
It was made of plastic and air, thank goddesses. I ran past it and finally got to the flat section. I ran as fast as I could and soon I got near the finish. All of us finished jumped over the finish line, remembering what happened earlier. There we passed the batons and saw she had only arrived as well.
I then realized she was as weak as she looked. She was here with us in obstacle races, cause she would lose in a fair race. She was weak and used traps and tricks to effectively win. She left the race, at least I know the moment she leaves obstacle races she's vulnerable. I soon got off the friend and soon I allowed darkness to take me.
Tactical Gray POV
I was inside the cage as BlaD left the field. While Vic was fighting I decided to put on my gear and walk without being noticed as I buried traps and set up weapons. I read every rule in the book and decided to do things like Canada. It's not illegal yet so it's okay to do. I found loopholes and came up with unwritten tricks.
When I told Yuto he called me evil, and I found that charming. He helped me set up explosives, weapons, and traps on the field. I even gave out maps to my teammates on where they should avoid. Now once Vic and everyone else left I finished the setup of traps that BlaD helped me do earlier. Now the finish line and the baton pass zone are full of traps.
I stood there but soon felt the killing intent of those coming out of the cage. Those dumbasses actually think they could take me the super villain of the team on. They soon proved their stupidity as they walked into the first or second bear trap outside their cage. I then used my favorite new chain to grab someone's neck first and pull them towards me. Thank Goddesses I'm an Uma Musume now, if I were human this would be impossible.
I then struck them in the face with my trusty big ass wrench, sending the ducker to snoozeville. They all obviously didn't want that to happen to them so they escaped and began charging at me. I activated my smoke canisters and hid in them as I launched, darts, paint balls, ink balls, and smaller wrenches. Not everyone passed that and the once that did met my reinforced fist. I made my hand and leg pads into gauntlets and knee armor.
I used the martial arts I learned and proceeded to beat the shit out of their dumbasses. I then jumped back into the smoke and attacked the next person. I used weapons, traps, and violence to make sure they went down. Soon the smoke cleared and all of them were down. I drank some water I brought in and caught my breath.
All this ass-kicking is hard work. Soon Vic arrived and I saw she was about to run into my trap so I yelled," Primrose jump flip through the finish line." She did just that and avoided the traps. I was watching her performance on the big screen after beating their ass cause I beat their ass so fast Vic didn't even get to the middle yet. I'm glad I did cause damn, Captain, you know how to turn on everybody in this building.
She then looked around seeing everyone down and ImP speechless. She then asked," What the fuck happened here?" I smiled knowing I had to change the subject, and just told her," You were hot out there captain, go to the bench and watch the replay if you wanna know, see ya." I honestly meant that, being bisexual made me want to fuck her after her performance. I then calmed myself down and grabbed the baton before running away to race.
I soon activated and armed everything as I ran knowing they were chasing me. All had timers none were remote controlled. I free ran as I set up everything. That's when I heard it, bang, blam, boom. My traps had activated and all of them were hitting everyone. I got myself some time as I ran and got out of the obstacle section entering my nightmare zone.
The flats the only place I'm not allowed to cheat. I ran knowing I had no talent and used everything I've learned and worked hard to gain. Still, I heard the shock of silence, they soon realized I was shit at flats. They all realized that in a fair fight, I would lose, so I made sure I always had an advantage. I was also still exhausted from the other things I did so I was even slower.

That did not excuse the fact that it was just excuses made by a woman with no greatness within her. Still, my desire to endure and my wish to win outweigh all the humiliation and suffering. I soon finished jumping over my remaining traps. There ImP awaited as the other players were scarred by my actions and scared to get close to either of us. ImP spoke saying," What took you so long?"
She then laughed and grabbed the baton and ran away. Little shit I'm reducing your free time. I then caught my breath and saw the players behind me already caught up and finished. All that for 2 minutes of space. I then walked off the field and there waiting was that dumbass Rain.
I glared at her and commented," What you got something to s..." She just held me and asked," Was it worth it to make so many enemies?" I then leaned on her shirt nodding saying," Uh-huh." She then said," Okay I got you no matter what okay." I just pressed into her embrace harder as I absorbed her warmth.
I then told her," Your muscles are too hard. She laughed out loud and said," You really know how to ruin a moment huh?" We both stayed quiet as we just separated and walked back arm in arm. Dumbass just ask me out already. We soon got back with the glare of thousands upon us.
