I get up after reassuring the girls that I'm okay and make my way over to the Lord laying on the ground. I check for any possible pulse that he could have since information would've been helpful.
No luck as he is definitely dead already. The damage inflicted was way too much for him to bare.
"So I take it we are back to searching?" Velia questions with disappointment in her voice.
"There isn't much of a choice otherwise," I answer with a calm tone.
Finding this king is the only way to handle the darkness within this realm so we can continue moving forward. I have a feeling that I'm going to be in here for quite a long time.
Nothing is ever easy so it only makes sense for how much time I'll be wasting. Eventually we'll find out the location of the king.
"We'll just have to head out of here and see what we can find outside," Eliza speaks up with some positivity in her voice.
"Yeah. I'm sure we'll find something," I respond with a bit of hope in my voice.
