The Justice Brigade was flying over town, looking for Heatgirl. Sungirl announced, "No sign of her anywhere. I haven't seen Heatgirl in days." Iceboy responded, "Neither have I." Aquaboy added, "Me either." Sungirl announced, "Luckily, we can track her." The Justice Brigade stopped flying and floated in the sky for a minute. Then Sungirl opened her communicator and traced Heatgirl's. Sungirl told the boys, "According to this, she's somewhere in space." Iceboy figured, "Better check it out." Aquaboy asked, "But how will we get up there?" Sungirl thought about it and said, "I have an idea." Sungirl gave the boys and herself spacesuits that looked like their superhero uniforms. Then they got into their Justice Brigade jet, and Sungirl pushed a button, transforming it into a rocket. Sungirl then pulled the lever and blasted them off into space.
Once the Justice Brigade entered space, they followed Heatgirl's coordinates to another spaceship. Sungirl figured, "Heatgirl must be aboard that spaceship." Iceboy asked, "But how are we going to get aboard?" The ship's garbage disposal opened, launching a large amount of garbage into space. Aquaboy remarked, "That'll work." Sungirl flew them in through the garbage disposal and landed their ship inside the one they flew aboard. Once they got aboard, they took off their helmets, as the air inside the spaceship was breathable. Then they left the garbage room and looked around for Heatgirl.
Meanwhile, Heatgirl was cold in a cryogenic cage. Delilah visited her and saw her weak and powerless. Delilah asked, "Enjoying your stay with me, Heatgirl?" Heatgirl responded, "Not really. What do you want anyway?" Heatgirl then blew out her breath since she was so cold. Delilah replied, "You out of the way by Sunday night. And that's still a couple of days away, so that's how long you'll be there. Tonight, I carry out my plan to create fear throughout the galaxy, and by Sunday night, no one will be able to stop me." Heatgirl said, "You'll never get away with this." Delilah admitted, "Oh, well, with you in there, I don't see how you or anyone can stop me." Delilah left Heatgirl in the cryogenic cage she had her trapped in and left the room.
Meanwhile, the Justice Brigade was searching Delilah's ship for Heatgirl. Then they heard someone approaching, so they hid in the closet and watched as three alien guards marched by. After the guards left, the Justice Brigade left the closet and searched for Heatgirl. The Justice Brigade opened another door, found Delilah's bedroom, and walked inside. Then they heard someone coming, so they hid in separate places. When Sungirl peered out of her hiding place, she saw it was Delilah. Sungirl brought out her communicator and called the boys. Sungirl whispered, "Boys, it's Delilah. The alien girl from our first mission." Iceboy whispered, "I thought we saw the last of that girl." Sungirl whispered, "Apparently not. Aquaboy, she's headed your way." Delilah headed to her mirror, where Aquaboy was hiding, and checked her hair to make sure she would look suitable for her master plan. While doing so, she saw her door open and then close, but she didn't see anybody in her mirror. Deliah then looked out her door and only saw her alien guards marching around. Since she knew nobody could get past her alien guards, she went back to her room and closed the door. The Justice Brigade then deactivated the invisible shields on their space suits and became visible again.
Once they did, Delilah's alien guards spotted them. One of the guards shouted, "Intruders!" Since he did, Sungirl blasted him away with one of her Sun Rays and knocked him out. Sungirl announced, "Time to motor." The Justice Brigade ran for it, but Delilah caught them in a net. Then she took them to the room where she kept Heatgirl, put them all in separate cages, and put their weaknesses in the cells. Delilah made it pitch-black in Sungirl's cage, so she tried to light it up with her powers, but it was too dark even for her. Delilah superheated Iceboy's cage so any ice he made would melt, and she also heated and dried Aquaboy's cage so that no matter how much water he created, it would evaporate. Even if he managed some, it wouldn't be enough to keep him hydrated or cool.
Delilah said, "Later." Sungirl asked, "Wait. Before you go, you can at least tell us why you're doing this?" Delilah replied, "Revenge, of course. After Heatgirl blew up my spaceship, I escaped into space. I then spent months planning my revenge. And when I came up with my master plan, I knew Heatgirl would find out and stand in my way. So, I went down to Earth and tricked her into saving me. When she did, she fainted because I wore a cryogenic jewel, a volutian's weakness, around my neck, which took away her powers and made her pass out. I then brought her to my ship and trapped her in that cryogenic cage so she couldn't stop me. And now that I have the rest of you, I'll get my revenge by creating fear throughout the galaxy. To do that, I will hit the asteroid belt with a laser, shooting asteroids at planets and destroying them. That includes your precious planet Earth. Later, enjoy your new rooms."
Sungirl sat down in the dark and saw her team as weak and powerless as she was. Sungirl then got an idea. Sungirl activated the laser gun built into her space suit and blew up Iceboy's cage. Then Iceboy set his team free, but Heatgirl spent so much time in her cage that she passed out. Aquaboy picked up Heatgirl and flew her through the ship with Sungirl and Iceboy. Aquaboy asked, "What do we do?" Heatgirl barely opened her eyes and hardly replied, "You've got to shut Delilah's machine down." The Justice Brigade crashed through a door and landed on the floor in Delilah's control room. Sungirl, Iceboy, and Aquaboy got up and saw Delilah in the captain's chair, but Heatgirl remained passed out on the ground. Sungirl remarked, "Uh oh. Looks like someone's going to jail." Delilah turned around in her chair and saw The Justice Brigade with Heatgirl passed out on the floor. Delilah commented, "Well, look who escaped." Delilah pushed a button on her control panel, and her alien guards entered the room. Delilah ordered, "Destroy them like I destroyed Heatgirl." Delilah's alien guards lined up and got ready to fight. Sungirl commented, "Bring it on."
Sungirl jumped and kicked two of the aliens simultaneously. Then she went to the controls and tried to figure out how to destroy Delilah's machine. While doing so, one of the aliens grabbed Sungirl, but Iceboy froze him in ice and kicked him off her. Iceboy said, "We'll handle the guards; you stop the machine." Sungirl pushed a green button, firing goo into space. Then the goo slimed an asteroid. Delilah laughed when she saw what Sungirl did. Delilah joked, "Let's see you give it another shot." Iceboy then grabbed one of Delilah's guards and threw him at her, knocking her out of her chair. Sungirl thought it over, pressed a blue button to activate a freeze ray, then pressed it again to turn it off before it fired. Delilah laughed, "Ha ha. You'll never stop my machine. Which is going off in 5,4,3,2,1." Then, Delilah's machine activated and shot a laser at the asteroid belt. An asteroid flew directly towards Heatgirl's home planet, Voluto, when the laser hit one out of the asteroid belt. When Sungirl saw where that asteroid was going, she thought that it required desperate measures. So Sungirl grabbed Heatgirl and carried her back to their ship. Then Sungirl put on her space helmet, activated her jet pack, and flew into space.
Delilah watched Sungirl on her monitor and saw she was headed right for the asteroid that would destroy Heatgirl's home planet. Sungirl then fired a laser from her space suit, destroying the asteroid. Once she did, Sungirl grew worried because she saw many asteroid fragments flying toward Heatgirl's home planet, and they struck her. Once they passed her, Iceboy and Aquaboy put on their space helmets, activated their jetpacks, and used their gadgets to help. Sungirl kept shooting and destroying the pieces with her laser attached to her wrist, Iceboy shot the asteroids with guns on his shoulders, and Aquaboy fired missiles at them with missile launchers on his arms. When they were all gone, the Justice Brigade looked behind them and saw they had missed one piece. Iceboy had an idea for it and used the rope setting on his space suit to lasso the last asteroid piece. Once he had it, Sungirl launched her string to another asteroid, swung by, and kicked the final rock piece back at Delilah's spaceship, destroying her machine.
Delilah tried to escape after they destroyed her machine, but Heatgirl jumped in front of her. Heatgirl asked, "You know what I hate?" Delilah got ready to fight and guessed, "That you were helpless without your powers?" Heatgirl said, "Nah. You." Heatgirl then glanced angrily at Delilah and kicked her away. Then Delilah passed out, and the Justice Brigade handed her over to the space police, who took her to space jail. Then, the Justice Brigade returned to their ship and flew back to Earth. Once they got home, Hannah went to her room and fell asleep on her bed because she was still weak from that cryogenic chamber. Her friends respected that she needed some downtime, so they left her alone for the rest of the day.
