The Villainous Four were robbing the mall and using a jet as their escape vehicle. Once they had their loot, they threw it aboard their jet and tried to escape, but the Justice Brigade stopped them. Ms. Fortune looked outside and saw Sungirl holding their jet so they couldn't leave. Ms. Fortune climbed out of the jet and tried to take out Sungirl with her razor-sharp claws, but Iceboy made the top of the jet slippery, and Ms. Fortune slipped. Then Sungirl let go of the jet and saved Ms. Fortune, slamming one of her claws into the jet, short-circuiting it. Sungirl held Iceboy's hand, and they jumped off, leaving Ms. Fortune powering their ship down. Heatgirl then broke into the jet and retrieved the loot bag.
Once she did, Plantman tried whipping her with his vines, but she kicked him away. Yuck tried to slim her, but he slimed the controls instead of Heatgirl, causing the ship to power down. Rainbow Woman then made her hand glow and watched Heatgirl fly away, so Rainbow Woman fired a rainbow at her, but Sungirl made it vanish. Aquaboy then grabbed Rainbow Woman's glowing hand. Rainbow Woman said, "What?" Then he stuck it in the side of the jet, causing a short circuit. Since the girls were powering down the ship and the boys couldn't start the controls, The Villainous Four's jet started to power down and fall out of the sky.
The Justice Brigade took their bag of stolen loot and watched The Villainous Four crash. Rainbow Woman tried getting her hand out of the jet, but it wouldn't budge. Rainbow Woman said, "This isn't good." Ms. Fortune pulled on her stuck hand and said, "Same here." Yuck tried starting the computers, but they wouldn't turn on because of his slime. Plant Man said, "Brace for impact." The Villainous Four saw a pond below and panicked when they realized they were heading for it; their ship crashed into it. Then their ship exploded, and they bobbed in the water while The Justice Brigade took their stolen loot back to the mall.
The Villainous Four crawled out of the pond, and the cops arrested them and took them back to jail. After beating The Villainous Four, The Justice Brigade looked at the giant clock on the sign above the mall and saw it was 5:30 AM. Sungirl yawned and said, "We've been fighting crime all night. Come on, let's get back to HQ." Heatgirl then looked at her mouth and saw her heat sense going off. Heatgirl said, "Sorry, but we can't go home yet." The Justice Brigade turned around and saw the city burning down. Sungirl and Iceboy flew down to the people threatened by the flames and saved them, while Heatgirl and Aquaboy attempted to put out the fire with their powers. Heatgirl absorbed the fire with her powers while Aquaboy blew up every fire hydrant on the block and used their water to extinguish it. Once the fire was out, the Justice Brigade saw their signal in the sky. They followed it to the hover train station. Once they got there, they saw the train start moving, but then it sped out of control, and the passengers panicked. The girls reached into their pockets and called for their bikes to come to them. Once they did, their bikes activated on their own and drove right to them. Sungirl commanded, "Boys, get back to HQ and keep track of this. We'll go after the train." Sungirl and Heatgirl rode after the hover train on their superhero motorcycles, while the boys kept in touch from their house. The boys had both the girls and the hover train on screen and kept an eye on them. Sungirl called the boys on her communicator and said, "This thing's really moving." Iceboy responded, "According to our analysis, it's going about 80 MPH." Heatgirl then used her communicator and asked, "How much track did they build?" Aquaboy responded with his communicator, "About 35 miles." Sungirl and Heatgirl kept up on their superhero motorcycles.
Sungirl asked, "Is there any way to shut this thing down?" Aquaboy responded, "They've tried, but no go." Heatgirl commanded, "Override." Iceboy responded, "We and they got locked out of the system." Sungirl asked, "What about a failed macknesim?" Iceboy replied, "Not enough time. The train just went to 100 MPH." The girls then said, "Faster," simultaneously. Then their bikes went faster and kept up. Heatgirl asked, "How much time?" Iceboy replied, "About 5 minutes." Sungirl and Heatgirl then drove their motorcycles through a tunnel after the train and yelled, "Eject!" Then the Suncycle ejected Sungirl, the Heatcycle ejected Heatgirl, and they both landed on top of the train. Sungirl got in through a door and raced to the front of the train with 3 minutes to go, while Heatgirl stayed on top of the train and tried to use her lava to slow it down. Once Sungirl reached the front of the train, she found the conductor out cold and had only 2 minutes to stop it. Sungirl grabbed the brake lever, pulled it, and tried to hit the brakes while Heatgirl tried to use her lava to slow it down. Once Heatgirl slowed down, Sungirl kept pulling the brakes, bringing it to a full stop, and they saved everyone on board. Sungirl's communicator then rang, and she answered it. Iceboy said, "Good work, girls."
Iceboy and Aquaboy then got a red alert at their house, checked it, and saw there was trouble downtown. Iceboy still had Sungirl on the line, so he told her. Iceboy stated, "Trouble downtown at the Beverly Hills jewelry store, girls. We'll meet you there." Sungirl and Heatgirl rode their Suncycle and Heatcycle there, while Iceboy drove his Ice Car and Aquaboy drove his Aquamobile down there.
All four of them met up at the jewelry store and saw some jewel thieves robbing it. Sungirl looked up and got an idea. Sungirl gave her team sunglasses and requested, "Put these on." Sungirl shot one of the lights with her powers, and it began to brighten the room. Then Sungirl and her team put their sunglasses on so the lights wouldn't blind them, but they would blind the jewel thieves and everyone else in the store. Everyone started covering their eyes and panicking, but Sungirl and Iceboy managed to get the salespeople out safely, while Heatgirl and Aquaboy took on the jewel thieves. At the same time, Sungirl's powers blinded the jewel thieves. Heatgirl punched one, Aquaboy punched one, and kicked the last one. Iceboy then blasted the floor with an Ice Beam from his finger and froze the floor. Once he did, the jewel thieves slipped on the ice and slid out of the store where the police were waiting.
After the Justice Brigade eliminated the jewel thieves, a giant scorpion attacked them. The big scorpion tried stinging Sungirl with its tail, but Sungirl caught it with both hands and tried avoiding its attack. However, Sungirl couldn't hold on for long. Heatgirl then grabbed the scorpion's claw and set it on fire. Since he was on fire, Aquabot put him out by splashing water on him. Iceboy flew above the giant scorpion, blew out his ice breath, and froze it in solid ice, turning it into an ice sculpture. Iceboy tapped the scorpion and said, "Have an ice day." The Justice Brigade flew away and yawned. Sungirl pointed out, "We've been saving the city for 12 hours straight. I'm exhausted." Iceboy responded, "Me too. The Villainous Four, a town fire, a runaway train, three jewel robbers, and a giant scorpion. What's next?" Sungirl replied, "We return to HQ and get some rest."
The Justice Brigade flew home and floated into their windows. Then, they took off their superhero uniforms and fell onto their beds. Once they did, they went to sleep, exhausted from an all-night crime-fighting session. While they were asleep, the Justice Brigade heard their alarm go off. Daisy checked it and saw Super Hunter fighting the Chaos Brigade. Daisy didn't see a problem since Super Hunter picked up some of their thunder. She then saw a problem when a monster grabbed her. He then broke her staff so she wouldn't have anything to fight him with, since she couldn't move her body parts. When the monster was just about to eat Super Hunter, Sungirl showed up and grabbed her. Sungirl looked at Super Hunter and threatened, "When I put you down, go home, or I won't stop the monster." Super Huner agreed, "Fine." Sungirl put Super Hunter down, and Super Hunter went home while Sungirl fought the monster. Then Sungirl flew up to the monster and tried punching it, but the beast avoided her attack. The monster then became an ice sculpture, and Sungirl wondered why. She then looked down and saw Iceboy holding the monster's tail, his eyes and hands glowing, and Heatgirl and Aquaboy behind him. Sungirl said, "Thanks, guys." Iceboy exclaimed, "Just doing our jobs, Sungirl."
Sungirl flew down to her team and hugged them for saving her. Then they all walked away, leaving the Chaos Brigade alone, and then went out for pizza for lunch. Once they got to the pizza parlor, their waiter gave them their usual as a thank-you for saving the city. When they finished eating, they paid their check and left. Then they saw a sign collapsing and about to smash a few citizens when it did. When they saw the sign fall, all four grabbed it. Then, they all used their super strength to push the sign back. While Sungirl and Aquaboy held the sign, Heatgirl and Iceboy reattached it to its original position. The citizens of Los Angeles simultaneously said, "Hurray for the Justice Brigade. They saved us." Sungirl waved to them and said, "All in a day's work, good citizens." After saving everyone, the Justice Brigade then got tired and went home. Then, they all landed on the roof and went inside. Then, they all took off their superhero uniforms and went to bed, exhausted. They slept for sixteen hours, all night and day. When the afternoon came, they all woke up and had their strength back. All that crime-fighting had taken almost all their energy, weakening their powers, but now they were ready for anything.
