Ars returned and quickly distributed everything he bought, to its future owners. Then he returned to his normal routine.
A few days later he received a call from Kuma.
"Sorry to bother you but I need a favor."
Ars was surprised, normally he would ask Dragon or a different member of the revolutionary army. So he asked.
"Is everything ok, with your side?"
Kuma quickly explained.
"It's nothing serious, it's just a bad feeling, so I don't want to bother the rest of them, they have bigger things to worry about. It's just this woman that suddenly appeared, she gives me a strange feeling."
Ars thought about it and asked.
"What is her name?"
Kuma simply answered.
"Alpha! You know something about her!?"
Ars smiled, then he commented carefully.
"Be careful of her, you are right to feel that she is bad news, bring Bonney and Ginny to visit if you want, if she decides to come I will handle it and remove her from the grid, can't give you much more information through the den den mushi."
Kuma got serious, It seemed his instinct was right.
A few days later Kuma appeared on the horizon with Bonney, following them was Alpha. Ars smiled at them and asked politely.
"How was the trip? Did anything interesting happen?"
Bonney shook her head and replied with a bored expression.
"No, everything was as boring as it could have been…"
Then she looked at him and asked directly.
"Can I go play!?"
Ars smiled at her and looked at one of the guards at the side, before ordering,
"Take the little girl to the daycare center, so she can play with the other children, we will go to the confession room, we can speak calmly there without being eavesdropped!"
The guard nodded, he was a bit surprised by Ars order and even more confused by the second part. With the only thing coming to mind being the question.
'Why there?'
Alpha got a bit scared at first, but when she heard it was for confidentiality purposes, her eyes shone, she was already making plans how to send the information that would be discussed, along with the information about the kingdom back to the world government.
When they arrived at the room, Ars pointed at simple metal chairs and commented.
"Sorry about the lack of comfort but, you said you wanted to talk about something confidential!"
Kuma nodded and replied with his usual calm behavior.
"I understand, don't worry about it."
Ars started talking about random stuff, then suddenly he looked at Alpha who was a bit confused by the randomness of this supposed confidential conversation. Then he asked something that made her blood freeze.
"How is your father? Laskey, right? Does he still work for the world government? And your sister, Kalifa? Is she still on that secret mission to steal the blueprints for the Ancient Weapon, Pluton?"
She didn't react at first, she was completely frozen in terror, thinking about all the possibilities.
'How does he know all of this!? Do we have a mole among the agents of the world government? That is the only explanation… Right? What do I do now? Can I escape? I need to escape… I need to send the information that there is a mole!'
She started looking around panicking, searching for a way to escape, not finding one, she decided to take a hostage. She knew Kuma was way stronger than her, so her only option was the man in front of her.
Her instincts were screaming at her to run, but she couldn't, she knew that, so she tried to rush Ars and take him as a hostage.
Ars just flicked her abdomen, sending her flying, crashing in the wall hard enough that the wall cracked. She was shocked and confused, she thought to herself not knowing how to feel while coughing hard.
'What just happened? He just flicked me and I nearly died? That's completely absurd, even an admiral couldn't do that with just physical strength…'
She looked at Ars who was smiling at her relaxedly and showed a depreciating smile, before asking.
"The moment I arrived at this place my fate was sealed wasn't it?"
Ars smiled and nodded, and corrected her.
"More like the moment you stepped on that ship… But you know… A few minutes ago, or a few days ago… Same thing."
She closed her eyes and accepted her fate, declaring.
"Then just kill me."
Ars was surprised but then broke off laughing, before asking her.
"Do you think he brought you all this way for me to kill you?"
She opened her eyes a bit afraid and asked.
"What do you want from me? I won't betray the world government, even if you torture me i won't open my mouth!"
Ars nodded like he expected this answer, and replied calmly.
"Not only am I not gonna kill you, I will even reward you with a contract to work for me!"
She looked confused then, hopeful, it was clear that she intended to run the moment she got the change, independently of what was written in the contract.
Ars took out the contract and gave it to her, it was a bit different from last time, but essentially the same.
She looked at Ars face and she felt the alarms in her head going off, there was no way they didn't know her plans.
She hesitated, but ended up deciding on signing it off anyway, after all, it was the only way to get out of here alive, and warn the world government of the mole.
The moment she did, a horrible pain spread across her whole body. Ars smiled at her, while she contorted herself in pain and he explained.
"You can think of this contract as a contract created by an akuma no mi, and the moment you signed it off, you accepted its terms and conditions. And naturally will be punished if you ever think of betraying me in any shape or form. The pain you are feeling will stop once you accept your new loyalty to me, if you don't, the pain will continue, slowly erasing your mind and turning you into someone absolutely loyal to me with no memories of who you were… Maybe you will have the memories, but perhaps, you will think of it as a strange dream, maybe you will know, but choose to ignore it to keep what's left of your ailing mind."
He paused and then continued.
"If you don't accept your fate… You will lose everything, your past, your light, your freedom, none will have meaning and you won't even care… You can say you will have a very dark ending, or maybe your personality will split into two personalities almost like two souls, dark souls depending on what you chose… In short it will rewrite your loyalties and you won't care about your past."
She had stopped contorting herself in pain, from the sheer terror infused in her by those words…
She understood and did her best to stop thinking of betraying Ars, and the pain subdued, Ars smiled at her and told her.
"From now on, your name will be Roygu 4."
She looked defeated but nodded, slowly replying.
"Yes, master!"
He then grabbed her and took her to his laboratory.
He ordered her directly without wasting time, while pointing at tube number two.
"Enter that tubular tank over there!"
She nodded and entered. He started changing her appearance, first he changed her hair for the royal guard female color, light blue, then gave her green eyes, and finally he changed her body and face a bit, leaving her even more attractive.
He wanted to make sure all of his royal guards were all fairly attractive. Kaz or Roygu3 was proof that he was quite generous in this aspect, the man already had a wife and was living happily with her. Roygu2 was dating someone, and Roygu1 was single by choice, the guy didn't display any sort of emotions and actively kept people at bay, thanks to that he didn't have a companion but had a fan club instead.
After that he exited and met Kuma, while they waited for the appearance change to be complete, while they were waiting Kuma asked Ars.
"Can you ask her if there are any other world government spies monitoring me or my family?"
Ars nodded and quickly replied.
"Sure. And while we wait, do you want to change places? We could go train or watch the children play!"
Kuma looked at me and replied.
"Let's go watch the children… And you have a problem with training, almost like you're addicted to it!"
Ars smiled an awkward smile but didn't answer and started to move towards the daycare.
When they arrived the children were having a quick meal, they quickly spotted Bonney near Lily and other children she had played with, the last time she was here. Kuma looked at her with a gentle expression and said a bit sad.
"She has so much fun every time she comes here, back home she doesn't have that many children her age to play with…"
Ars was confused so he asked.
"Why?"
Kuma was the confused one now, so he returned the question.
"Do your children play with everyone else?"
Ars nodded, like it was completely normal in his eyes. Kuma showed a surprised expression then added.
"Do you realize that's not normal?"
Ars was a bit lost so he asked for clarification.
"Why wouldn't they? They are children like every other child… Why wouldn't they be allowed to play and have fun? Why wouldn't they be allowed to be children?"
Kuma was a bit bewildered and lost with the questions, then he tried to reply.
"They are… It's just… Rarely do children from families in royal or noble positions play with civilians…"
Ars commented quickly.
"Isn't that because of their family's opinions? Put civilian children with noble children, when they don't know who is what and with no family influence, and I don't think they care. When you remove all accessories and are left naked… Everyone looks the same… Everyone bleeds the same color…"
Kuma tried to think of something to argue with but failed to find a response. He looked at the huge smile and bright eyes on Bonney's face, and finally he said,
"Yeah, you're right… Just because something is different, it doesn't mean it's bad or troublesome, just that society many times doesn't like it, acknowledge it or that it is hard to accomplish… Maybe it's how we were raised to believe that there is a line between people… But it was us that drew it unknowingly."
Ars smiled and added.
"You are welcome to come live here with your family anytime you like, that way you could work for me."
Kuma laughed genuinely and replied in a joyful mood.
"Thank you but we are happy where we are, maybe one day in the future but for now, no."
Ars nodded and looked back at the children that after finishing their meal rushed out to play again, Lily noticed Ars and quickly approached him and forced him to join.
Ars laughed and joined in the games.
After a few minutes he excused himself and entered his laboratory. He let Alpha out and asked her.
"How do you feel?"
She was confused, until he gave her a mirror and she saw herself, her eyes went wide, then using the mirror she checked every corner of herself.
When she was done she replied.
"I feel normal! And I do like my new appearance…"
He nodded then pointed to the other tank and ordered.
"Now enter that one but before that, write the name of any other world government agent that could be, or is spying on Kuma's family!"
She wrote the names in a paper and gave it to Ars, then entered without hesitation. Before she was a bit afraid, but after seeing the effects of the first tank she didn't care about the effects of the second, she only thought to herself.
'If he wanted to kill me or hurt me, he wouldn't have changed my appearance, so I'm safe!'
Ars activated the machine and put the same amount as the last time, then he left the laboratory, to go back to playing with the children.
Kuma outside was just sitting, but had now children climbing all over him while playing, Ars laughed, he knew the feeling.
Lily jumped and grabbed his clothes, revealing his training suit under. Kuma had seen it before but had no idea what it was, so he asked about it.
"What's that thin shirt you're using underneath? Seems really tight!"
Ars replied calmly, while giving the paper to Kuma's hand.
"It's a training suit, it restricts your movement… It's like being under a superior gravity… Mine should be around 50 times the normal gravity currently."
Kuma looked at Ars like he was a monster, and quickly questioned.
"You mean to tell me, you do all that training in the equivalent of 50 times gravity?"
Ars nodded and then replied.
"Yes, and most of our soldiers use one of these but ligther… Way lighter!"
