Under my careful guidance, the world had slowly started to get more tense, the start of the war was just one spark away.
"Do we really need to start the war with Sunagakure attacking us? Wouldn't having Kumagakure fight with Iwagakure and Kirigakure make more sense?" Tsunade asked with a pouty expression as she was lying on top of me.
She was not very thrilled about me having to go to the battlefield, since I would be the one leading the Konoha camp.
"Yes, it is necessary, we just need to get busy with Sunagakure, and once we do, the other three would start fighting amongst each other, I will make sure of it.
This is the best scenario to ensure there are no suspicion towards us." I answered gently patting her head.
"Yes, but is all this planning even necessary? You are Super Kage level, Grandpa has also reached Super Kage level... I am at peak Kage, but I will reach Super Kage level soon.
Most shinobi villages don't have as many Kages as we have Super Kages, couldn't we like just attack them head on, and make them surrender." Tsunade pressed, she really did not seem keen to go to war.
"We could probably do that, but the losses Konoha would suffer would be far greater than the current method.
And... I never said I wanted to conquer the world, for the present time, I think it would be rather counter productive, don't ask me why, just trust me, okay?" I sighed, trying to conquer the world right now would do nothing more than startling Black Zetsu into immediate action.
And for someone like me... who actually did not care much about the world as a whole, trying to conquer it would be nothing more than some stupid childhood vanity.
Personally, it would be much better for me to keep the world in a state of equilibrium, while maintaining Konoha's strength to the highest degree possible.
And that would continue until I manage to make myself into an Otsutsuki, if I manage to become strong enough, then sure, Ninja world could be united to fight against the Otsutsuki, but otherwise...
"I see... But I would still miss you..." Tsunade purred
"Miss me? Girl please, you will be there with me soon enough, you are the head of the medical department, do you really think I would not pull you in on a fight against Suna, who are famous for their poisons?" I chuckled, sure I had about the same level of medical expertise as Tsuna, but fighting wars was really boring.
"Huh, I am also going? I thought since I was the head of the medical division, I would be stuck here in Konoha. Then what are we waiting for, let's go and beat some Suna ass."
I chuckled at her words, but still... I couldn't let her do as she pleased, because Sunagakure was... Pathetically weak.
And Tsunade was genuinely a peak tier Kage, someone who could break through to become a Super Kage. Her rampaging around was not something anyone in the Suna could handle.
Even the current Kazekage, the second Kazekage, was only about a mid tier Kage level, and aside from him, Sunagakure could maybe pull off two more kage, one there was Chiyo, who should be around low-tier kage.
And I am not sure if Bunpuku and Ebizo truly qualify for the rank, Maybe Bunpuku can if he unleashes One-tails, but Ebizo should be somewhat stronger than elite jonin at most.
Now, this would be enough for anyone to understand how cooked Sunagakure was, Konoha had way more Kage level beings, even Super Kages.
Heck even if we just count Super Kages, We have Tobi the necromancer, myself and Grandma Mito.
Honestly, I kind of understand why Konoha had to be nerfed.
And if we start counting Kage levels... Tsunade, Hiruzen, Danzo, Kagami, Orochimaru, Sakumo hatake, and there were a few more actually, from clans like Uchiha, Senju and Hyuga.
The old gen hadn't completely died off, without the idiocy of Konoha F4, most of Konoha's strength was preserved.
The current Konoha... could be actually said to be at it's peak.
"Oye oye, what are you thinking about?" Tsunade asked with a pout, breaking my thoughts.
"Nothing, just about this war, since I am supposed to lead it, there should be a proper plan, right?" I said with a helpless smile.
"And what have you thought of? And did you enter your smart mode for thinking about it? Or you might make dumb decisions."
"Oii, I am plenty smart even without my smart mode." I defended
"Heh. There's a reason it's called your smart mode. Because without it, you are naturally in the dumb mode." Tsunade snickered.
"You little..." I snorted and started tickling her, causing her to jump helplessly.
"Ouu stop that!!!" Tsunade pleaded, but her cries fell on deaf ears.
"Indeed... I should stop. This is clearly not enough. You need to reflect better, understand your mistakes. You... need to be disciplined." I said with a serious face.
"Ohhh!!! Is it punishment time?!!" Tsunade jumped up excitedly, her antics breaking my serious facade at once.
I could not help but start chuckling, "Yes. It is punishment time."
-10 days later-
"Although Sunagakure has declared war on us, the real goal of those penniless beggars is to actually loot the resources, so our defense has to be at both the border and stationed at each border town." I said with a serious expression.
Under my deliberate control, two days ago, Sunagakure declared war on us. Putting the entire Shinobi world in a very tense state.
Kumo, Iwa and Kiri would soon start declaring war on each other too, no one wanted to be the one to start the second shinobi war, but since Suna took the initiative, they would all certainly join.
And with Suna's declaration, I was made the commander of Konoha, which was actually protested by Danzo. I need to take care of that shit sometime, didn't he like to leak info about Konoha shinobi to other villages to get rid of them... Maybe I should follow his example.
Anyways, now, there's me, Tsuna, Ino-shika-cho clan heads, Orochimaru, Jiraiya, and Sakumo along with five thousand shinobi, who have been deployed to the borders.
Now, I should not be saying this, considering I am the leader of Konoha's forces... But I truly feel pity for Suna's forces.
And when you consider that our goal is not to defeat them outright, but continuously beat the shit out of them for a year or two... Yeah good luck Sunagakure.
The second Kazekage really doesn't understand the level of shit he is in.
