Everyone knew Marcus and Tiffany had become a couple, but Marcus had never been so direct before. His words were practically a declaration of ownership in front of everyone.
Tiffany froze. Under Marcus's intense gaze, his face flushed red all the way to his ears. He stammered awkwardly, suddenly unable to meet anyone's eyes.
"I… no, no! I wasn't!"
Seeing Marcus pull Tiffany into his arms so naturally, everyone immediately broke into laughter. Their gazes were filled with teasing as they stared straight at Tiffany, as if they had just discovered some shocking secret.
Tiffany's face turned even redder, almost like it had been set on fire. She couldn't bear the shameless stares anymore and immediately glared back, her voice flustered but stubborn. "Why are you all looking at me like that?"
Zora's eyes curved into a smile. She shrugged lightly and spoke with a calm innocence that only made the teasing worse. "I just think you look better today, so I wanted to look a little longer."
