The doctor shook his head slightly. "It will take time. She has just come out of a coma, so her mind will not function properly immediately."
He continued explaining in a calm tone, "The medications we have been giving her are strong, and they will affect her mental clarity. She will remain in a dazed state for a few days."
The man looked at the woman again. Her gaze shifted weakly, as if trying to focus on something, but she seemed unable to fully register her surroundings.

Lucas was sitting alone in his study, leaning back in his chair, with a file open in front of him. The room was dimly lit, and the silence around him made his thoughts feel heavier.
He was going over everything again in his mind when the door opened quietly.
He did not look surprised.
He simply lifted his eyes.
A man entered the room.
He was dressed completely in black, and his presence was almost unnoticeable. Even his footsteps were soft, as if he had trained himself to move without making a sound.
