"This is the true King of the Sea."
Mewtwo thought the same. His size was immense, towering in the depths like a majestic mountain.
"Why have you come here!"
Kyogre's voice was deep and commanding; this was its second awakening this year. Yet the Pokémon before him was enough to rouse him.
Mewtwo did not reply, nor did he challenge. Under Kyogre's watchful gaze, he quickly left the area and returned to the nursery.
"I want to train," he told Lin Feng.
"Where do you want to go?" Lin Feng asked, not surprised by Mewtwo's decision; he merely wanted to know his destination.
"To find the habitats of those legendary Pokémon."
"Alright."
Lin Feng said nothing more and did not immediately let him go. Instead, he went to Wutong City first to get him a Rotom.
Lin Feng murmured to himself, "Take him with you. At least call me often. Don't be like Qin Shu she was gone for days without a single call."
Mewtwo: …
He recalled a human named Qin Shu, who had once competed with him for a position. That position now belonged to a new Pokémon. If he had to stay there all day watching over it and collecting fees, he would go mad.
Lin Feng also prepared a storage ball for Mewtwo. Inside, there was chocolate liqueur again, but this time the filling was made with dried Oran fruit.
Mewtwo's departure, ostensibly to seek legendary Pokémon, would inevitably bring conflict. In fact, he might even encounter five Genesect. If he were injured, he could recover in time.
"You're welcome to come back anytime to play."
Looking at Mewtwo, now in human form and carrying a travel backpack, Lin Feng encouraged him once more.
His view of Mewtwo was simple. He was an extremely independent Pokémon. If he wanted to stay at the nursery to learn cooking or help out, Lin Feng would welcome it.
But from his recent behavior, he clearly lacked enthusiasm for staying put.
So Lin Feng would not stop his desire to train outside. He only wanted to make sure Mewtwo knew that no matter what happened outside, the nursery doors would always be open for him if he wanted to return.
Watching Mewtwo walk farther down the path until he disappeared from sight, Lin Feng felt a twinge of distraction but eventually returned to the nursery.
It was afternoon.
Eldegoss had finished its tasks.
Lin Feng walked directly through the nursery to the plantation and then to the villa.
The plantation was silent.
Milotic and Primarina had finished relocating. They now lived in the tanks.
In the barn, Miltank and Kommo-o were sleeping.
The garden was empty.
Entering a room from the back door and closing it, a warm breeze immediately separated the inside from the outside, making it feel like two different worlds.
"The legends say that in a place called Pokémon Kingdom, a group of carefree creatures called Pokémon live, and they…"
The television voice came from the living room.
Turning the corner, Lin Feng froze.
The large sofa was crowded with Pokémon.
The Hatterene siblings sat on the right side of the C-shaped sofa.
Starly and Gardevoir sat on the other side.
Ninetales, Eevee, Arcanine, and Sprigatito sat together.
On the coffee table in front of the sofa were the Alcremie Pokémon.
They were gathered, watching TV.
Seeing this harmonious scene melted Lin Feng's heart.
Yet he quickly noticed something was off.
When had his Alcremie increased by one?
Lin Feng paused, but he quickly realized it was not an Alcremie at all it was the returning Mew.
Using his Explorer's Eye, he scanned and immediately identified which one was not a real Alcremie.
One Alcremie in the middle was actually Mew in disguise.
The Alcremie around it were completely absorbed in the TV, unaware of the imposter among them.
Lin Feng quietly followed behind all the Alcremie.
The other Pokémon noticed him, but Lin Feng shushed them, stopping any noises.
In front of all the Pokémon, Lin Feng suddenly picked up the "Alcremie" and began stroking its belly furiously.
"Alcremie?!"
"Mew?"
"Mew…"
The sudden action startled all the Alcremie. They turned to look at Lin Feng.
The captured "Alcremie" struggled more fiercely.
"Alcremie, Alcremie… Mew…"
It gradually returned to its original voice.
Its form reverted, like a small cat cradled in Lin Feng's arms.
The observing Pokémon only then realized the truth.
Lin Feng had not suddenly tried to catch an Alcremie; this Alcremie had transformed from Mew.
After escaping Lin Feng's grasp, Mew pouted, looking at him in frustration.
"Yo, Mew…?" (How do you always find me?)
Even Aron and Lucario could not perceive his transformation back then.
But when acting alongside Lin Feng, he would always be caught.
He did not know how Lin Feng recognized him.
Mew had nearly succumbed to depression.
Lin Feng smiled. "Look with your eyes."
"Yo, Mew…"
Mew was unhappy, flying away from Lin Feng and hovering in front of everyone.
He paused, then flew back to Lin Feng, retrieving a storage ball.
"Alright, alright. If you want some food, come over here."
Lin Feng picked up the storage ball, smiling wryly.
( ‾ ◡ - ): "Yo, Mew~"
"Well, what can I do if I can't hold you?" Lin Feng petted him.
Then he added, "But this time there's some chocolate liqueur. Want a taste?"
"Yo, Mew~~" (Mm-hmm. A bit more, a bit more…)
Mew did not care what kind of chocolate liqueur it was. To him, as long as it was food, he devoured it eagerly.
Lin Feng put the storage ball away, planning to later fill it with energy balls for Mewtwo.
For now, he only wanted to sit on the sofa and rest, and ask Mew how things went in the Water City with Latias and Latios.
"Come, tell me how your adventures in the Water City went."
"Yo, Mew?"
Mew looked at the Pokémon gathered before him, tilted his head, and chuckled lightly, "Yo, Mew~" (Everyone, come take a look~)
Then he waved his hand, gently putting all the Pokémon present into a trance…
