He continued closing the distance until he was standing directly in front of Narg.
Then, as though trying to assert his authority, he placed a hand on Narg's shoulder.

The goblin couldn't finish.
Narg casually knocked his hand away.
The instant their contact broke, something strange happened.
The goblin's body suddenly cracked.
A faint surge of dark energy passed through him, and before anyone could react, his entire body burst apart into ashes.
The remains scattered across the ground, leaving nothing behind but a thin cloud of dust that quickly dispersed into the air.
Silence fell over the clearing.
