The moment the blue holographic screen flickered to life, chaos erupted among the students.

Rin grinned. "I want to see which of us performs better."

"Fine—but don't overdo it." Yuta said raising his finger lecturing Rin
"Yeah"
Before Rin ran off, Yuta held him back

"Yes" Rin said running off
From that moment onward, Yuta and Rin both went their separate ways
The screams of the citizens of Valon grew louder as demons attacked from all corners
Explosions appeared on the scene; the place was mixed with both blood from civilians and demons.
Few humans had died but a lot of demons were not spared either. It was a gruesome sight
The students were extremely active in saving citizens of Valon
Some students fought and killed demons, some those teamed up with others and those who could not team up with the strongest, stole from their peers.

A faint smile crossed Yuta's face—then vanished just as quickly.
'Your ten o'clock' Luna spoke up
Looking towards that direction, Yuta saw a young boy lying helplessly under a rubble.

Instantly, a surge of mana exploded within Yuta. Memories of his past resurfaced as his anger continued boiling up immensely

Staring at the boy who looked lifeless, Yuta noticed something strange upon closely looking at the boy

Yuta calmed his emotions and prepared to go there when he noticed something big in the distance
Its big physique was nothing of remarkable, it held a sword of its own mostly like from a previous battle.
The horns stretched out more than most demons Yuta had encountered.

The demon scrambled through the rubble, throwing the rocks at other buildings.
The demon picked up the boy slowly which made Yuta blood run cold
Yuta tightened his stance, forming a hollow black sphere in his palm.

To Yuta's shock, the demon looked at where Yuta is before throwing a smirk towards Yuta
'A smart one'
The demon and Yuta exchanged eye contact for a little while, both studying and measuring each other up to see who would attack first
The demon slowly looked at the boy, then at Yuta
With new found determination to enrage Yuta, the demon scratched the boy on the face much to Yuta's annoyance
A thin streak of blood ran down the boy's face before the demon licked it carefully
"Want to attack?" Luna asked
"Yeah, I am pretty annoyed right now"
Yuta jumped off the building, diving head first to attack the demon but to Yuta surprise, the demon hurled the boy at his direction
"Wha-?"
Noticing Yuta's demeanor, the demon smiled menacingly
Catching the boy, Yuta slowly moved to another building before putting the boy slowly on the ground
'Luna, heal him'
'Got it'
A green hue enveloped the boy as the boy's face which had become pale from the suddenly slowly dissolved
'All done'
Yuta studied the boy's breathing and to his amazement, the boy was alive
'He won't be waking up anytime soon though'
As Yuta was still watching over the boy, the demon suddenly leapt from its position creating a crack in the concrete ground where it had once stood
Suddenly inches away from Yuta, the demon removed its sword and was prepared to slash Yuta
"Give me a break"
*Whoosh*
Yuta ducked avoiding the attack barely. The slash cut clean through the air, aimed straight for Yuta's torso.
Yuta grabbed the boy and put him in a corner of the building
Another attack came but Yuta holding his sword parried it as a spark of electricity flew by
Yuta leapt back, putting distance between himself and the demon.
"Void"
Yuta shot the black sphere, anything that touched the sphere was swallowed whole as it moved calmly towards the demon
'Over'
The demon opened it mouth wide before shooting a small orb like crystal. The orb floated calmly before making contact with the sphere
As both came in contact with each other, the crystal froze the sphere in space before dissolving into dust
"Hahaha"
Laughs engulfed the whole section. The demon laughed like a maniac as Yuta looked stunned
'He countered it'
*Heh*
"Finally… a worthy opponent." Yuta said as he unsheathed his sword prepared to attack
Meanwhile
"Sir Malix, I come bearing bad news" a reporter came
"What is the matter?"
"Sir, we mistakenly unleashed a grade 6 demon on Valon"
"What?"
"Yes sir, it happened during your bicker with the headmaster, one of you mistakenly pushed the button releasing it"
'Oh god' Malix said rubbing his chin
'Could today get any worse?'
