The [Vex Flame] quickly goes to hit Pluto but the clown he summoned punched right through it and jumped towards Cinister
"I don't know why but [Vex Flame] looks like it's ready for more" Cinister thought to himself as he dodged the clown and used [Fire Gun 100%] to send him into the wall
As Pluto got up from the floor he said "You know you're pretty good for only using Nexus and Class but I got unfortunate news for you"
"Yeah and what's that?" Cinister asked
"You're Vex Flame is pretty impressive but it lacks teamwork" he explained "You guys don't have the special bond that I have with my contracts"
"You think I can't work well with my Vex, huh?" Cinister said as he channeled his mana "[Vex Flame] mastery 2 I will show you our teamwork"
"Laughable. If you promise to show your teamwork I will let you gaze upon real sportsmanship" Pluto said as he summoned a slime
"A slime?" Cinister almost let out a small laugh "What can a slime do to a Vex?"
"You will see" Pluto replied as he picked up the slime and threw it against Cinister
Fortunately Cinister's [Zero Delay] helped him see the information about the slime
But
The slime enlarged itself covering the Cinister and the Vex's vision
"Shit it made a blindspot for Pluto" Cinister said but the Vex acted quickly and made a hole inside the slime
Pluto wasn't there
"Oh no where did he go?" Cinister looked around but he was still nowhere to be seen
"Up here, loser" Pluto said as he jumped from his large eagle, which he summoned in the blindspot that the slime created
SLASH
Pluto's katana goes through Cinister's arm like butter
"Dammit!" The Scaler grunts as he held his arm "Sneaky turd"
"Can't help it" Pluto said as he swung his Katana at Cinister
FLOOSH
The Vex took the hit and jumped back just to reveal Cinister's plan
"I may not have the same connection with my summon but I have a brain that works overtime" Cinister heats up his arm and explodes a [Fire Gun 200%] which was made stronger from the 100% [Fire Gun] shot before a while ago
BOOM
Pluto quickly summoned a water golem that absorb all the damage
"You just have an answer for everything, huh?" Cinister asked as he started casting [JetBurst]
"Yeah I do but sometimes I always get my way" Pluto said
Cinister tried to hit him with the JetBurst but the slime held the Scalers foot to the ground making him incapable of moving
"Why is this slime so strong" Cinister grunted as he tried to get his foot unstuck
"You come to realize that slimes can harden their bodies that even the most "strongest" mages can't pierce through it" Pluto said as he walked up to Cinister and knocked him out with the back of his Katana
After 3 hours Cinister woke up in a bed that had a white pillow and blue sheets
"Where am I?" Cinister said as he slowly put his head up
"Well looks like you're finally up huh?" ??? said as she opened the blinds that were covering the bed
"Who are you?" Cinister asked
"My name is Mira and I'm the nurse here" she said "And also you're late to class"
"Shit thanks I need to go" Cinister quickly sprints to the classroom
We cut to Yoake
Yoake went up to Choi and Scrappy which were at the end of the tour.
"Which class were you distributed to?" Yoake inquired
"We were both distributed to class three" Choi answered
"It's not bad I guess. I was sent to class four" Yoake added
"I have to go to class now tho so I will see you after a while." Yoake
Choi and Scrappy also go on to have their lessons. Choi's first lesson was a sparring class. On the way there he managed to steal a glance at Cinister's fight.
"What even were those things?" he thought to himself
"Will I have to fight people like that in my class too?" he continued the conversation in his head while entering the sparring hall.
The first fighters were announced and Choi was relieved to not be the one to fight first-"I want to at least see what the people here are made of ".
While thinking Choi saw in the corner of his eye a floorboard sticking out from the floor a little. He went to check it. He proceeded to sneakily open the floorboard and crawl into the space below. He found himself in an eerie system of tunnels under the academy. The piercing smell immediately hit Choi's nose.
"This is the sewage system. How did I even think about coming down here?" Choi thought to himself when he spotted a dim light in an upcoming turn.
When he went to check it he saw I man fully dressed in black cooking food over a campfire
"The humidity in the air is way too high here so how did he manage to light a fire in here?" he thought to himself.
"He must be using ignivar" Choi immediately answered his own question
"I have to sneak him." Choi thought to himself. After that he decided to levitate 10 centimeters above the water using swiftgale while trying to hide from the ignivar user. Then when he finally was behind the mysterious person he put his somewhat sharpened shield up to his neck.
"What are your intentions here?" Choi asked
"None of your business" The person dressed in black said
In that instant Choi slid the man's neck with the sharp end of his shield. At the same time the tank reached for the man's exposed trachea but then the mysterious person used some kind of skill and formed a fire wall separating the two people. That did not save him from the blood gushing out of his neck so Choi utilized this information and lunged straight through the fire, bashing straight into the Ignivar user. That dash straight into the person dressed in black knocked him out but for good measures Choi stabbed him a few times everywhere to make sure that he was either dead or couldn't move anymore.
Choi noticed that the guy had brought a bag where he found items stolen from the academy. At the very bottom of the bag he found a surprisingly good-looking shield with a label slapped on it- "most valuable weapon from the academy" and a price tag next to it. From this Choi deduced that a thief from the black market had managed to sneak in the academy and steal some antiques
"This bad boy might actually turn out to be useful." Choi thought to himself but before he could enjoy his new weapon he heard the announcer from upstairs
"The next fight is going to be between Choi Woo and Fungo Oda "
Choi panicked and sprinted back to the hole he had entered from. After he covered it back up he managed to get to the area unnoticed.
"Let's test out this new shield, shall we?" Choi thought to himself before the bell rang signaling the start of the fight

TOWER OF SCALING: ADDITIONAL FLOOR
"I can't believe that wretch is my roommate like this place is so MISERABLE" Choi complained
"Oh shut up it isn't even that bad" Scrappy said
"Bro your roommate is like a mother" Choi said "She cleans, cooks and is amazing person"
"Though luck" Scrappy
"F*ck you" Choi said as he backhanded Scrappy
