"Of course" he said as the 3 of them take turns sparing eachother
After a while later Cinister got tired of beating Alya and Ragna in a 2v1.
For example Cinister catches a punch from Ragna then kicks Alya who is behind him. Then Cinister kick Ragna into a wall and throws Alya into a tree.
"Damn Ragna what happened?" Cinister asked "Back in the days you rivaled me but now you're just not it twin"
"Well I don't know what happened, okay?" Ragna said "I guess I need to figure out how to use my spells more effectively"
"That's a good start" Cinister answered "And you Alya you need to be more agressive with your attack"
"Got it boss!" She replied
"Don't call me that ever again" Cinister shot back at her "Anyway I think we should call it a day"
"Leaving so soon, huh?" Choi said as he slapped Cinister's back
"Yeah we got our work done for today" Cinister voiced
"How about a little battle huh?" Scrappy chimmed in "Or are you afraid"
"There's no point to it" Ragna said "We already trained enough"
"Hm?" Scrappy responded "So you're a quitter"
"Yeah I agree with Choi, it'd be fun" Allen said backing them up
"Aw hell nah" Cinister shot the invitation down "I'm not trying to see your b*llshit today"
"Ok then how about this" Yoake suggested "We do a little mock battle but with a twist"
"What's the twist" Alya asked with a confused expression
"Well Allen and Cinister are not allowed to participate" Yoake continued
"Good suggestion Yake" Cinister appladed him
"My name's Yoake asshole" he clapped back
"So me and Cinister are not allowed to help at all?" Allen said while rubbing his forehead
"You guys can give strategies but that's it" Yoake replied
"Okay let's get comfortable Cini" Allen looked at him
"Call me that again and I'll end your bloodline" Cinister answered
"Come on, I like that nickname" Alya responded
"Okay but only you should use it" Cinister voiced
"Calm down you children let me explain the rules of the mock battle" Yoake said
There's two teams that start in opposite corners. One of the team will have a base which needs 3 flags to be completed. Those 3 flags are scattered randomly in the Practice Room. The other team must protect the 3 flags while the first team has to retreave aall 3 flags to win.
Team 1 - Ragna and Alya
Team 2 - Choi, Scrappy and Yoake
Team 1 went to the castle to examine where they need to put the big red flags.
"So we need to put the flags on top of the three pointy spots on the castle?" Alya asks
"Yeah it sounds simple but there's definetly something that would make it a challenge" Ragna explains
"Nah it's just like eating cake" Alya reasured Ragna
"Whatever but now we need to serious so we can beat them" Ragna said "
Yeah, yeah we can put them on the spots you said, right?" Alya questioned
"Yes, exactly." Ragna answered
"Then what are we waiting for?" Alya asked playfully
The team of two started setting up the flags while discussing their strategy of staying together in an area from which they could get to the defense sites in a short matter of time. Meanwhile Choi, Scrappy and Yoake were discussing their approach too.
"I think that we have to take advantage of our numbers so Scrappy and I fight and Choi can go steal the flags in the chaos because I want to see how much Scrappy has improved so yeah."
"Okay but I'm going against Alya" Scrappy stated "I haven't had a stealth mission in a while so I agree to do Yoake's plan"
Choi said "We wait a few more minutes then we go, understood?"
Yoake asked as he waited for conformation
"Bet" Scrappy and Choi said in unison
After a little bit of time Ragna and Alya were ready and were on look out for the enemy team of three. Ragna spotted two silhouettes in the distance.
"Two on me" Ragna reported.
"None on my side" Alya replied
"Well it's two on two so let's go put some belt to a*s" Ragna said with excitement written all over his face as he grabbed Alya by the wrist and the jumped from the high ground towards the two humanoid figures.
"RAGNA, WHAT ARE YOU DOING LET ME GO" Alya yelled at the top of her lungs After landing in front of the two silhouettes Ragna let go of Alya's arm and got ready to fight.
"So we are up against the Y guy and Scrappy huh, I expected that Choi would be here but nevertheless, lets go!" Ragna said While Ragna was talking Yoake swiftly reminded himself where exactly he had set up all magical traps.
After one glance and 3 seconds of fast thinking he had already made a plan on how to take up Ragna by surprise.
"Ok lets get this battle started!" Scrappy exclaimed as he rushed towards Alya with his two knifes. Reacting fast Ragna intercepted Scrappy's onslaught. As Ragna was preparing his counterattack he was forced to step back due to Yoake's kudayari.
"Come on you Viking come at me with all you got" Yoake said while aggravating the knight
"You won't be so cocky after this fight you coward" Ragna yelled at the spear user as he dashed toward him Yoake blocked the attack as he said
"Let's see if this will work". The trapper teleported just behind Ragna and attacked him fiercely. Ragna turned back at thunderous speed and tried to use [Bubble] but it was too late, Yoake's spear had already pierced his shoulder and had slashed his chest multiple times.
"IT'S NOT OVER YET" Ragna yelled as he got ready to use the active state of his spell [Thunder encloakment]
"No, in the real world you would already be dead" Yoake explained as he activated [Bind trap], immobilizing Ragna. Yoake pointed his spear right at Ragna's throat and forced him to surrender.
"I give up" Ragna announced in a disappointed voice
"Well I guess that this move is as strong as it sounds, being able to teleport across my traps is unbelievably useful. [Blink gate] huh got to make sure to use it in the future too…" Alya was surprised to see Ragna being defeated so early into the battle but this revelation created an opening for Scrappy to strike.
