Mitzie thought she was an ordinary seventeen-year-old student—until one strange encounter changed her life.
After meeting a mysterious boy named Amons Kling, Mitzie suddenly loses consciousness and awakens inside a brutal prison known as the G.G.G. facility. Surrounded by strangers and forced into deadly games, she discovers that G.G.G. is not simply a prison. It is an experiment designed to find extraordinary individuals capable of reaching somewhere no ordinary human can enter.
Their first game is Color Rush, a deadly competition where players must collect nine different color cards while fighting against one another. Each victory grants another color, but every defeat means elimination.
Mitzie possesses an apparently unimpressive ability: Danger Sense, a Closis that gives her an electric warning roughly five seconds before danger occurs. It doesn't reveal what the danger is or where it will come from. To survive, she must rely on her intelligence, hand-to-hand combat skills, weapon mastery, and ability to interpret the warning before it's too late.
But as the games continue, Mitzie discovers that the players possess a mysterious energy known as Zeal, which can awaken supernatural abilities within the human body. Meanwhile, figures such as the enigmatic Fox and the suspicious Kling seem to know far more about G.G.G. than they should.
Eventually, Mitzie learns the terrifying truth:
G.G.G. was never the final destination.
The organization behind the experiment is searching for someone capable of entering Layer Paradise, a mysterious world beyond the boundaries of ordinary reality. A normal human body cannot enter it, forcing the organization to find individuals capable of transcending their physical limitations.
Paradise is divided into seven layers, each more dangerous and mysterious than the last. Within them lie impossible treasures, powerful artifacts, beings beyond human comprehension, and secrets capable of changing the known world.
The higher Mitzie travels, the stronger her enemies become—and the more she realizes that the powers she once considered extraordinary may only be the beginning.
Her journey begins with a simple goal:

But eventually, she will have to ask a much bigger question:
